I have the same heater, the manual says "do not cook on the heater", so better to keep food warm on the grill, but not cook on it. Probably the ceramic burner can be busted by boiling food run out from pot. And then cannot be cleaned. but for heating it's great.
just bought a 4 pack of 220 gram canisters for 6 aussie dollars.. a dollar fifty a pop so I’m testing how long a can will last and just passed the first hour on the lowest setting.. going back to the store to clean them out at this price

I got this and its very hard to ignite. If you don't push a few buttons in exactly the right order it doesn't burn it just emits gas and within a minute or two the back of you're track has enough gas to go boom. It seems like a very unsafe device to me. I have a Snow Peak backpacking stove that is very easy to light, you couldn't blow yourself up if you tried, the Snowpeak is too small to use as a heater however and I was really hoping this device would work.
I just bought one works well it came with what looks like another adaptor (brass with to open ends) i have no idea what that is for and the instructions done say what it is for do you have any idea?. I did a Co2 test with my Sensorcon professional grade Co2 meter and it read zero Co2 inside the house. BTW you have the exact first impression i had.I said to myself this thing is not going to work, but it ran like a top. Asian/Chinese grocery shops. Still $5.99 for a pack of 4, as of Dec 2023. These butane gas are very common household items for Chinese, used for hotpots, or table top BBQ.

I've been using mine for over two years, it works just fine. I got it new for around £14.00 and at the time bulk bough the gas cartridges on Amazon for £0.90p each. I have used it plenty and it's paid for itself as far as I'm concerned Hiking guy.
It’s probably best to check out multiple reviews to see what might work the best for you! Or find a channel you trust and see what they have to say. 👍 Thanks for Watching!
I bought this same model from this video a while back. It works like a charm. Thank you.
Great to hear!
Just keep an eye on it. 👍
All of these videos lately are getting me fired up for my next camping trip. Thanks for sharing Brother.
Yep I’m ready too! 👍
As always, Thanks for Watching Bill!
It looks good ,never seen one that is a combi before, looking forward to more on it.
I’ll work on a video of a test cook to see how it does. 👍

I think you are right. Anything getting on the burner would cause issues. 👍
Nice little stove.

Got one rn but in cold winters -1 you have to use propane so it doesn’t keep dying out
Yep, butane does not work in very cold conditions.
Hey man how long does one gas canister keep it running for?
@@JayMadeira479 just over a hour on the highest setting
Thank you!
You're welcome! 👍
Tip over protection ? How about the conversion adapter dilly thingy ?
No tip over protection.
The adaptor was so cheap and unsafe I threw it away ASAP!!!!!

found if you walk with it, the whole thing could suddenly on big fire, got to keep still.
Yes, it should only be moved when it is turned off and cooled off.

Wow! Sorry you’re having a problem. Maybe it’s defective.
Be safe!!!!
@@TrailMedic911 It's not defective, pulling the ring on the the side while clicking sparking opens extra gas to facilitate ingintion.
Can it be used inside home if needed
You would have to be very careful and make sure you have good ventilation and a carbon monoxide detector. Always remember, safety first!!!!

How many hours use for one cylinder of butane just for heater?
Of course it all depends on what setting you have the heater, but you can normally get anywhere from 3 to 5 hours
I got this as a second one gift. Can somebody tell me what the adapter is called please? I understand the one in this particular set might be flimsy, but I can look for a better quality replacement.
I don’t know of an adaptor that will work.
What kind of hose and parts do you need to run on propane and isobutane please? Thank you
I think it comes with a propane adaptor hose.
@@TrailMedic911 nope it doesn't.
Heya! How long does one gas canister keep it running for???
Not sure on this heater / stove.
Did you end up doing a cook test with this? I'm thinking about getting one. Those Cupid heaters are expensive
Yes, but it had a blow out. Not sure if it got too hot or what.
Where do you get the fuel canisters and roughly how much do they cost? Any chance that the canisters can be refilled?
The best price I have found is Walmart.
They are between $3-$4. I do not think they can be refilled.

How many hours does it work on a single butane cylinder??
Not for sure, but should be 4-6 hrs on low.

Any follow up on this stove ?
Not really, I haven’t tried it again since the blow out issue while cooking with it.
Ok jump on one. With any propane flash is posible . So outside I will light it up.
Just got one. Gets so hot the grate gets red hot.
Danger, do not touch
Yes, I noticed that too!
Bad idea. When you use the heater, the grease from using the stove is going to smoke up your tent. Messy intense clean-up. Let's see a Demo!
