I use Google Keep to keep anecdotal notes for my students. Each student in my class gets their own label and I put all my notes about that student in that way. I can even use the microphone to use talk to text so I can add notes easily. I then pull up the notes for each student at report writing time and everything is there! It has been a real game changer for me!

The thing with the fancy headers is absolutely brilliant. I've been using Keep for as long as it's been around, but I've never seen such a great idea.
Michelle, thank you for the Google Keep tutorial. I have sticky notes all over my desktop. This app will save me so much time and help keep me organized. I love that I will not have to wait until I get back to my desk to retrieve my information! The "grab image text" and being able to look up a note by keyword is fantastic. Thank you for the header templates. I cannot wait to get started!
I've been using Keep for a while now, and it's quite helpful in terms of keeping track of tasks, class sizes for making copies, etc. My husband and I have a shared note that we use as a shopping list. We've added all of our common shops and then we just add items under each shop as we need them. If we're shopping in a rush then we can split up and check items off the list as we get them.
I previously watched the video from a year and it changed daily routine. I will be sharing this video with my staff for all those still not on the “keep” bandwagon. You explain it much better than me😜

I love Google Keep. We use post it notes to communicate in our office and it drives me nuts🤪! Google keep has kept me organized for over the past year! As I am writing this, I’m actually organizing my to-dos for next week! I also love the fact you can search text for notes also. Gone are the days of scanning a document when you can take a picture on your phone!!

You called GK a game-changer, and that is absolutely accurate. I'm a high school teacher teaching Intensive Reading to 10th graders, and after using GK to help organize my personal and professional life for years, I started teaching my students to use it last year, first for note-taking, and this year as an interactive notebook/assignment tracker. I want to take the next step, which is to have my students share their task lists and graphic organizer assignments with me so that I can streamline the process of reviewing and revising with them. Reviewing task lists has completely gotten away from me, and reviewing graphic organizers to assess a student's progress PRIOR to giving feedback and revising has proved to be very time-consuming and labor-duplicating as it has to be done 1-1 or in very small groups.

I never used Google Keep because I never understood it, but this tutorial helped me a lot! I might start using Keep for notes instead of sticky notes! 💗

Good stuff, I love Keep and use it for a lot of things. I LOVE your headers, but I am not a teacher. If you had left a template in that folder it would make it easier to customize them for whatever job or hobby you might have. Well done vid.

Good morning Michelle! Do you ever delete assignments? After five months of online teaching my Google classroom looks overwhelming to my students. Do you ever delete assignments from past terms? Will that streamline things for my students? I want them to focus on current work and once things are graded it would be nice to delete them. The topics I created of course go back to that September and it looks overwhelming. Any chance you can do a video about that? Thanks again for all that you do!

How did you create the image? I downloaded and LOVE the ones you shared, Thank You for your work!! I would like to create a different name for my note but want them to all match.
Can the items in the checklists be reorganized? Say if you make your list in order of priority and come across something later that you want 3rd, as an example.
When you are in the note, you CAN grab and drag your list items to new positions. Use the 6 grey dots on the left-hand side of the item-hold your item with your finger or mouse until it sort of lifts then drag it to the position you want. Super helpful!

Hiya... i love Google Keep and have recently been jooooshing it up to make it look prettier and downloaded your headers... just wondering is there a way to make them resize so on my phone I can see the full header when in my notes section...as in not clicked on a particular one but home screen.? as it currently cuts it so I can't read the full header which looks messy TIA :) Alli
