    Have you ever had someone ask, to have a garage built and insulated so as to live in it, and would you recommend this?

      This is very much possible! the risk categories need to be upgraded and adjusted to living quarters!

    Do you have any videos that show a customer that finished the walls with fiberglass bat and drywall?

      Great question! We do not. We do have videos of various insulation options we offer, but none with the drywall over it. We do have a current mancave in the process of being finished out. We will be going out to get content for you all to see how these buildings can be transformed but as of right now none on the channel

      @@wolfsteelbuildings Thanks for the reply! Can a tubular buildings’ roof support solar panels?

    • @wolfsteelbuildings
      @wolfsteelbuildings  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@azak4243 this is possible but the lbs / sq ft would need to be increased. You would need to see which solar panels you would want to get, check the requirements and present that to the builder.
      The building would need to be manufactured to these requirements. Typically this means adding additional trusses and hat channels

    Can you use rockwool instead of fiberglass insulation against this if you were framing out interior walls

      Yes if you are framing out interior walls :)

    If you choose this option? Can you later down the road use spray foam on top of it?

      Not recommended with this specific product. There are some type of blanket insulation that it is possible. Check out Spray Jones on TH-cam. They have great content on Spray foam.

    Which radiant barrier is that in the video? BlueTex?

    • @wolfsteelbuildings

      Hi Franco, we currently use two of the standard brands in the industry which are: Insulation for Less and r-Foil. BlueTex is a new insulation in the industry and WolfSteel personally has not explored it too much. What are your thoughts?

    No air gap?

    • @wolfsteelbuildings
      @wolfsteelbuildings  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! Depends on what the need of the building is. Also, great to know what the end goal of the building is. If no insulation is going to added OR thermal control isn't a desired goal air gaps are recommended. We offer vents for our buildings for this case.
      On the other hand if you are going to be adding a form of insulation to create thermal control you need to completely seal the building to avoid cold/hot air from coming into the building to disturb the interior temperature. You need to find the break between the outside/inside. This will allow you to add HVAC in the future.

      Hi Russell, im sorry you feel that way. Its proven that spray foam is one of the best forms of insulation. This is also why it is seem very often in our houses.
      Insulation found in this video is radiant barrier not spray foam.
