Future video ideas. I noticed your Art Nouveau style fonts. The black and white film skit you did in an early video that screamed of the same artistic time period. Art Nouveau. Could you do a video on how to style to that, as an inspiration or theme? Black, terra cotta-burnt orange, and rich browns are powerful color schemes in Nouveau Art advertisements. Early 1900's, Gypsy, Boho, Gatsby, Hollywood Glam, Henry Mucha, Moulin Rouge, Burlesque, Noir. Toss in some Gothic and I'm a gonner. LOVE THIS STUFF. I could also really appreciate a video on 4, "can't go wrong color schemes" but each VERY unique. Like deep gray, raspberry, and dark chocolate. Or rich Plum, mossy green, and charcoal black Topaz, Amber and Brown Dark dramatic 5 color combos. One of my favorites to contemplate is Patina-Copper, Iron Black, Flannel (blue) Gray, Bittersweet Brown, and Ivory Bone. Like any combo based in a dark neutral like black, brown, gray, or taupe and then go from there. With two to three other shades. If you could offer names of paint brands and color swatches. So they can be found in the world and applied? I know you could bring something so special to this theme or unique go-to color combos with a modern application

Many thoughts, i loved your previous rugs but they were competing with the curtain. I love the new curtain and that the new rugs are simple but textured and don't compete with the curtain. The large artwork surprisingly works really well. I'd add a shelf over the towel bar for more decor interest. Great video! 🙏 EDIT: no no to the third rug! It's too matchy matchy EDIT EDIT: i still highly recommend curtains for your living room. It will really complete your layout.
I liked the shower curtain from the start but never liked it in that bathroom with those warm colors. This one is much more complimentary. I am partial to oriental rugs so to me, go with the oriental ones as they have more visual interest, but both are nice.

If you still have that magnolia tapestry type wall hanging that you had in your office at your studio apartment, I think that would be pretty where you’re thinking of moving the two moody landscape pieces (they might be pretty on either side of the kitchen entry). Just use what you love, and it will all keep coming together beautifully!

Hello! Been a fan since your Studio days some time ago. The solid brown (terracotta) rugs look much more cohesive with your new shower curtain. I like the new shower curtain with the overall vibe in the bathroom - as you stated, sometimes you have to just lean into it.
Love the new shower curtain! I like the bathroom rugs that you already had in there the best! They have so much more style and are less typical/generic. They give a nice vibe of personal style and look less cookie cutter/page from a magazine....if that makes sense. LOL. The 2 moody forest canvas that you want to move out of your living room would look excellent above your bed! I'm a little concerned that the cool beautifully detailed metal table you have along the wall behind your sofa is going to disappear into the dark wallpapered wall....I LOVE that table! It's an excellent focal point.
I absolutely love the new shower curtain and I like the plain brown rugs so much more than the original. The color block rug is gorgeous too but I wonder if that would be better paired with a more neutral non patterned shower curtain. I feel like the textured brown rugs go nicely with the pattern already happening in the shower curtain without feeling too busy. But I’m sure either would look nice!
Love mom’s bath mat suggestion, but I would also keep one other set of rugs for a laundry switch out. Personally, I might keep the original bath rugs & add a teal/greenish hand towel or other accent piece. So cool to see your design process and apartment evolution!
You could try overdying the black & white shower curtain with ochre or brown. The black will stay black and white will dye brown/rust. Move the big black pic from LR to BA wall. Just a suggestion. Love everything you do. ❤
Love your channel and style! A tip for those who may not have a budget to buy new items but still want to coordinate colors. I often use regular latex craft paint to coordinate my existing décor with my new color palette. For instance, on your old shower curtain, you could coordinate it with your new color palette by painting the flower centers terracotta. I've also added a coordinating color to wallpaper, throw pillows with a pattern that I could adjust, thrift store artwork, welcome mats, etc. It's an inexpensive and easy way to save some money.

I love the new bathroom! The mats look nice, but I'd like to see the rug that your mom sent you (well, the picture anyway!) I'm more of a minimalist, so I would remove most of the stuff on the vanity, but you do such a good job styling for you and other maximalists. I always get excited when you are redoing your rooms. Suggestions for the counter: I think that the tall vase should go with the short vase into the opposite corner where the towel holder is now, and you should get a small , maybe round tray to hold the remaining things (soap, towel holder, little dish, diffuser) to create “collections” for cohesion.
Love the new shower curtain and the great new wall decor! Although I like both rugs, I would probably use the original Boho rugs and add a bit of the green from the rugs in your accents. Since there is limited counter space, I don't know if the wall behind you offers any possibilities for bits of green. I have builder grade brown cabinets in my kitchen, similar to yours. I improved the look dramatically by using a Boho rug with aqua and other lovely colors. I added a few gorgeous accent pieces with copper/bronze metals and aqua kitchen tools and towels (I chose just the aqua from the various rug colors to echo throughout the kitchen). My otherwise boring cabinets suddenly look like they were intended to be there! You are really good at mixing textures, and Boho design definitely utilizes texture. I can't wait to see each new area you are decorating.
I play Skyrim and Minecraft. They are one of my happy places. Skyrim scenery reminds me of being back home. Minecraft reminds me of playing with my kids when they were younger. Our color palettes differ a bit. I like more of a costal, cottage, cozy, warm and bright kind of vibe. Something that brings me back to my youth spending the summers on Whidbey Island and my grandparents place. I still totally love your vibe. Autumn is my favorite season. Curled up with a book next to a fire with a cup of tea while also watching the leaves fall is bliss. Your apartment gives me those kinds of vibes. I can’t wait to see how the wallpaper looks. ❤

Mint green looks really good with espresso brown and sand beige! I would suggest to search for a beige curtain with mint and espresso details! It's a very elevated color palette that pops but can be earthy 👍

Something to think about. I would ditch the dry flowers. Bring some raw wood in. A small wooden tray for the counter. A small wooden stool with a fresh plant on top. Ditch the artificial flower as well. Try it.Otherwise its lovely. One bath mat to cover the whole floor. Not the typical bath mat. Everything does not hv to match
don't you have your toothbrush on your counter? where do you keep fresh towels, makeup, cleaning supplies and laundry? there might be cultural differences (Europe here), but where do you store those items if not in your bathroom?
You think you got a small bathroom and a small bathroom sink countertop you should see mine. I'm still trying to figure out how I can get more room in my bathroom. Since I don't have no bathroom countertop is only enough room for a soap dispenser and maybe one or two more items and that's it. I did such a huge sigh when you put your new rugs down. It has a bit of terracotta , a bit of rose and a bit of shimmer. It pulls together all of your other shades of brown and gray that might feel otherwise conflicting . The one you removed definitely needed to go. The one your mom is suggesting is too repetitive.

I choose none of the rugs. The last rug is too matchy matchy with the shower curtain. Keep looking. Otherwise you've done a great job
