Excellent timing Kristina. Just came into the bedroom for a bit of self-care and the heating pad. Both the same I suppose 😊. My daughter and I have spent the whole morning and half the afternoon sorting through, sorting out and throwing away. There's so much stuff and so little house. To give you an idea -I have 1 closet. Count it-ONE. 😂.
I'm binning a lot of stuff after I sort it and, after we clean/clear the tiny shed out this weekend, they'll have a home. Yay! More room inside! Tomorrow I'll work on the kitchen and then I'll get to the bedroom. Very productive week so far. I've managed to empty 6 bins of varying sizes and am trying to learn how to be proud of myself. That's the hardest part.
Thank you so much for your timely video. Fun and helpful. Hugs!
Almost forgot. Quel Ques Fleur. I think I spelled that right 😂. Lovely scent and it lasts.

I have a Siamese cat and a Russian blue, but the siamese cat likes the drama and makes things fall especially when she is bored... It's like a toddler when they throw things for fun on the floor to make noise...
The Russian blue instead love to clean up anythings and she would help me clean the home if she only had hands 😅

Your reproduction is no one else’s business. I guess they’ve never been told that “children are a gift from God”. I have 5 adult children. We planned one and two were foster/adoptions we never imagined we would have. In our house someone other than my husband and I planned our family. No mistakes when it comes to human life. (Just my opinion, of course).

Being low income doesn't mean we can't be productive. Keeping ourselves pretty with lovely hair, makeup and our favorite clothes is a nice way to start our day.
Keeping the house clean makes us all feel better.
Some thing's we can't control, but keeping ourselves up and cleaning our homes is pretty much free.

You'd be amazed at how ugly people can act behind a keyboard. Several family-friendly channels that I follow regularly receive extremely harsh criticism and insults over the choices they make all the way up to death threats. Some periodically have to shut their comment section down or go offline for a brief period of time because they are so shaken up. Some even had to take out restraining orders because of viewers stalking them. One TH-camr had to contact the FBI over death threats against his girlfriend and her daughter. And these are cooking, cleaning, budgeting, simple living and travel channels. I understand why channels that deal with politics have problems because the subject is volatile but why threaten people giving cooking and savings tips.

She should have all the children she wants. No one should be shamed for having children no matter their budget or whatever. Our nation and the world needs her children. She has no reason to apologize or explain her family planning. Her baby is a gift from God. For one I am saying I am glad she had her accident. I would rather be baby poor than house poor. The baby is worth it. Take my word for it, the house isn't.

No matter if I had plenty or little my children were always always my treasures in life! And God always supplied our needs! Please never let anyone get you down over your precious babies. Those people won’t be there for you but your children will be. I can also say the very best times was when I didn’t have much. As far as the food banks that what they are there for and no one should be judgmental because it could be any one of us needing them. You are doing a great job mama!!!

Painting nails-- let me talk about that and how it brought me back to life. This will be long, I feel a vent coming on, but someone might get something out of it.
I had gone through 4 yrs of multiple life-changing traumas & tragedies. I mean, I can't even get into it all but 2017-2021 was hell for me. Family illness & deaths, UGLY divorce & custody battle for my disabled son, ex going crazy, cross-country moving, losing my business, financial struggles-- felt like every week was some major life-changing emergency and I coped as best as I could. One of the last big things was moving again in 2021, which was a total fiasco. And I sat there in my new tiny old fixer-upper home with just a few of the most essentials unpacked and a huge wet mess around me (rainstorms/snowstorms on moving day-- ugh), and I injured myself pretty bad.
I was going to take a few days to just relax and breathe, but I just shut down. I sat there for over a year, not unpacking, barely going anywhere, barely doing the minimum I needed to do to stay alive. I slept in my sweats & got up and went to the grocery store without changing, w/my slippers on. Didn't even brush my hair anymore and had to cut it off (used to be very long).
After my daughter started worrying and and urged me to talk to my dr., I started on meds & got some encouragement to start small & do something-- anything. I started polishing my nails. I got some dollar store polish, cotton balls and polish remover and started just polishing my nails once per week. Sunday nights was my nail night, I'd put on a movie (lots of Lifetime movies lol) and polish my nails. I enjoyed just looking down at them and seeing them all nice & polished. If the polish chipped I'd fix them. I started trying to do playful designs with different colors-- it was just fun. A simple creative outlet and a bit of self-care, something pleasant to look at and inspire me.
Eventually I started doing my feet weekly as well-- trimming nails, pumice callouses, etc. Then eventually added a minor skin care routine. After a few months all this got me moving a little more, taking care of my self a little more-- sewed a couple of dresses for myself out of cheap fabric, even started wearing make-up again. Started getting out a bit more, even just walking my new adopted dog or going to the dog park, or going to the library to find a book or reading in a coffee shop, or taking my son to a movie and to look around the dollar store for a new polish color.
It took another year of slow progress but things began to get better. I started some DIY projects this year, fixing up my fixer-upper, planting a garden. I just did peel & stick tiles on the kitchen floor this past weekend and am putting my finishing touches on the kitchen, where I once again enjoy cooking & baking. My life is getting back in order, my home is getting pretty and cozy and feeling more comfortable as I make it my own little sanctuary. It's all coming together slowly but surely and I have found some peace.
So yeah, one little thing -- like doing your nails or fixing your hair or making your bed daily -- just one little routine can really help and start to turn things around. When you feel so overwhelmed and hopeless you're kind of frozen because you don't know where to begin to fix things in your life because it all feels like too much, find one little thing that pleases you and start with that. Then when you feel ready you can add another, and another, and suddenly things are getting done, which makes you feel better, so you get inspired to do more. An upward spiral.

I was actively trying to prevent pregnancy when I became pregnant with my son. The Lord called him home in 2020, but I can truly say that my accidental pregnancy was my greatest gift. I had him for 30 years. It has taken some time to heal, and some days are better than others, but I wouldn't trade the time I had with him for anything in the world. Sometimes, what seems accidental is perfection. Treasure every gift you're given ❤ You are doing beautifully!

Dear, sweet Kristina, I write this comment to let you know, first of all, that I loved the quietness and peacefulness of this video. Those ordinary, daily tasks of a mother in caring for her home and family.
Those who criticize you have been deeply programmed to spend, spend, spend whether they have the money to pay for it, or the space to put it.
Secondly, I wanted to share that I, too, lived within a budget as a homemaker and mother, now grandmother, caring for my home and yard and loved ones. There is no higher calling, although it can be rather lonely, when all your neighbours head off to work, wishing to not have to leave their homes and children all day. Keep on doing what you do!
    Love Rita

      Avoid all sugars !!!!
The sugar in the apple seeds will instead feed the cancer and deliver God’s natural chemo poison. Which won’t harm the rest of the body.
Any past cancer damage to the body, give to God in prayer.
the more cancer there is the more apples and their seeds to chew.

Those who enjoy handling what life has thrown at them with grace and gratitude and and eye for what truly matters are the most prepared to shed light in dark times. Thank you for being real. Thank you for your calming voice. Thank you for playing with your cat and laughing . Thank you for the perfect music and great photography. Thank you for your simging baby in the background. That depends on how they define attacks. Genuine questions get labeled as attacks too despite only wanting to genuinely understand the person better.
I told a creator I was sorry I had to unsubscribe but the content had turned too toxic. It was constantly condescending toward viewers and a simple suggestion to make something easier was labeled hate. It was bothering my mental health. So she made sure her "fans" attacked me. When I answered questions about what details I had mentioned, she called me mentally ill and deleted all my responses and any that weren't attacking me. When I finally pointed out her posts making false claims about me made her legally liable, she deleted her hate filled lies. I even said most creator wanted to know why people unsubscribe, so I try to let channels know as a courtesy. I wished her well even. Yet I was viciously attacking her according to her. If you didn't call her the best, she called you a hater. (Same video different paper design pretty much every time was to be declared 100% unseen so no one could have any idea what could be easier or another way to do it. It was crazy.)

The days when my children were young (4 within 5 years)were the happiest days of my life. My grandmother had 9 children and was very poor. She had so many kids because she loved children and they brought an otherwise bleak life a massive amount of joy. I too was really poor but had a grip of kids that were so precious. . Enjoy this time in your life and the amount of children you have because it is temporary. They will grow up and leave. You don’t get a second chance. This is it. Eat your Top Ramen and hug all your precious children and watch cartoons with them. THATS RICH!

Oh my! Children are the most wonderful blessing, motherhood is the best occupation. Because we experience the joys and lows of raising our babies, watching them grow and learn, makes all of us stay at home moms all the more richer. Moms are resiliant and have huge imaginations. People who have no children seriously don't know what they are missing out on. ❤

I've cut up old towels and used them as rags for years. Just cut them, don't hem them. You can also cover walls with fabric and liquid starch (it's an old military wife trick). You have a great esthetic.

I hope lower income families see your channel. I have never really 'wanted' for anything. I came from a good family started working at 16, and eventually got at good paying job with the telephone company. I met my husband there. As I look back on my young family life, I was always wanting more. More things, better furniture, the best cookware, clothes, etc. We seemed to spend more than we were making and bouncing checks before the next payday. We would get loans to pay off our debt, but then use the credit cards again. It was a vicious cycle. Now that we are retired and debt free and on a very limited budget, I feel more peaceful. The stress of "keeping up with the Jones" is over. I love it! Keep up the good work my dear.

Kristina, oh how glad I am to have found you. I am now nearly 70 and have both add and autism. I wish you were around when I was a young mother. So many of my friends were much higher income and very different in their wants and needs. This often made me dissatisfied with my life. Thank you so much for your teachings and example. Thank you and good luck to you!

I think it is SO important that you talked about and showed your self-care routine as being important to helping you have the motivation to take care of your family and home. My mom was one of 11 kids (9 adults, a set of twins died at birth.) While my mom has talked many times about how her mother was constantly diligent about caring for husband, house, and children.... she said there was definitely something missing. My mom and her siblings were very aware that my grandmother took NO time for self care, there was a low-key vibe that she saw it as selfish to take any time to make herself feel special and pretty. This left a residue guilt in my mom and her siblings. They were like, "She was old before her time because she never took time for herself. All she did was take care of us, Daddy, and the house."

Kristina, I love the way you live! My husband and I chose to live on one income when we got married, and I made many of the choices that I see you making. By the way, every baby is a blessing. I think nowadays people believe they have control over everything because of science. God is bigger than any human mind. Your babies were meant to be here, and they are so fortunate to have parents who nurture and love them. I’m 67 years old now. I learned so much from my grandmother. A simple life is a beautiful life. I wouldn’t change a thing. My grown children thank me for their childhoods. I love you, Kristina. I am a big fan. You are living right. ❤
By the way, what cleaning products do you use? Much thanks!

Shame on the haters, dont let them rob your happiness. We had 7 kids, we had hard times, we struggled and there was a number of comments if all 9 of us went to the groc store.
They are all grown now, and i have wonderful memories from those hard years.
    God bless you and yours.

Ok, so I couldn’t bite the bullet on an Amazon bread machine, but then I found one at GW for $10! I made a french loaf first and it turned out great. Now I’m making the recipe you posted - it’s not done baking but the shape and smell are 10/10!

I miss being a SAHM so much! I hate working and being away from my kids so much now. They miss me being able to cook for them and ask them about their day. Sometimes my drives to work are met with tears because I know I won’t see them until the next morning but it’s what I have to do now because of our financial situation. Cherish every moment with your kids. You’re doing a great job! They will always remember you being there for them. Thank you for your videos. They bring me comfort because I get to reminisce about my days as a full time mommy. They really do help me when I’m having a rough day.

I’m sorry mamas, it is very hard. Maybe get a vintage crockpot from a thrift store and stick some chicken in it before you head to work? The old ones(70s) don’t burn everything like the newer ones do. The kids will love that you made dinner for them!
