Thanks for the history! You have more guts than I, walking through some tough-looking areas. This could be a lovely city if they would repair and maintain their buildings. I think your videos are much better than the typical travel video. You really give one the feel of a place!

Thank you! Yeah, I try to make something different from the normal travel video, as you can already see the main tourist areas of this kind of city in many other videos. Great that you like it and that it seems that I manage to share the feel I had of the city with you.

I was there 3 years ago and felt the sadness, i could not explain it but it was very heavy and suppressed. I could not stay there because of that feeling. I was on vacation with family and i just could not be there as a tourist so i gave away all the money that i antisipated to spend there and left with sadness

Yeah, there this ambient sadness... it's very hard to describe, but the feeling is very strong...

Great videos thank you for visiting my home city. Only thing I’d correct you on is Sarajevo is a very diverse city and therefor there is no “Muslim” side or “Christian” side. The info structure is probably what you’re referring to but definitely not divided. My next door neighbors were catholic and two doors down were Christian. I understand what you’re trying to say, but it’s incorrect.

Thank you. And yeah, I guess the words I used are not correct. I think I wanted to talk mainly about the architecture. One part of the center is clearly European architecture, while the other part of the center has clearly a middle eastern architecture.

Well, officially, WW1 started because of killing of Arch-duke Ferdinand. Real reason is buiding of railroad Berlin-Bagdad.

Actually the bullet holes are from the Bosnia war in the 90s, when communist Yugoslavia fell apart.

@@carmelagillan9821 they did no such things. The only thing isrealis did was arm the surbs who put a sirge on the city snd commited war crimes. It was documented that there was an agreement to arm serbs in exchange for letting jews move to isral.

It is heavy and dark because the country has still not recovered after the terrible war, most people live below poverty line, the country is divided and this is causing hatred and even more division. People are getting proper education, yet many of them will not find employment and probably move to the countries that will give them more opportunities... shall we go on.. all major entities are still pointing fingers towards each other blaming them for their unhappiness.
In the country where we had genocide in the middle of Europe in the 20th century where it was silenced by the media, no recognition of it by the majority of the world.. imagine denying holocaust of the WW2!..
There are walking children from the women that are raped, tortured by those who had the most power...
The republika srpska is made in blood, in genocide and a shame. Have rakija and laugh!
Yeah... tell us why it is heavy and dark..
    Peace

Serbs were expelled from Sarajevo because they wanted to make a greater Serbia and because they mistreated and killed the Bosnian people. The Markale massacre is one of the worst crimes Serbs have ever committed, and they have committed many crimes in the Balkans.

It seems that it would be much more enjoyable, for the viewer, if you didn't have this hunt for whatever person or idea you do throughout your videos. Really strange and odd, Ferdinand? Is he your imagination or what? Doesn't translate to the viewer.
