- I ride from Bihac to Kljuc. On the way, I decide to take the small roads, and the small turn out to be dirt tracks and even trails. As the track is not suitable for my bike, I end up having an accident. Though, I still manage to repair my bike on the spot. I keep going and at sunset I finally reach Kljuc, after a horrible day on the road.

@@KinoYves do you ever worry about things like chiggers? do you know what those are? they bite and leave a terrible itch spot for about 2 weeks. And what about poison ivy? Are any of those types of plants over there? Or worse???

You really can’t trust gps maps, some of those roads are no longer being used. I have done Bihac to Sarajevo on the main road, pretty safe and a lot of cyclist use it. Planning a route for next summer Munich to Sarajevo, will take the same stretch of the road. Good work!
Yeah, it's better to stick to the main roads in Bosnia.

Classic google maps, similar thing happened to me during a thunderstorm, had to navigate my hybrid toyota through a forest and pretty steep rocky terrain.... Was an adventure for sure....

Sacrée journée ! :-) Ça me rappelle une randonnée en Bosnie il y a 10 ans où il y avait les mêmes panneaux pour les mines. Au final on a eu un orage de grêle énorme et sur le retour de la randonnée on voyait un chien type berger allemand qui nous suivait. Après discussion avec une personne du village elle nous a dit que c'était un loup! Haha, la Bosnie ça se mérite :-D
Ah ouais! Quelle aventure cette randonnée! Mais c'est vrai qu'entre les mines et les montagnes sauvages et oubliées de tous, la Bosnie a un charme assez hors du commun.
these landmines in bosnia are the work of Serbs set 92 to 95 to kill people ... and as you know we managed to defend ourselves from the Serbian aggressor ... they left the mines behind to visit us who and what kind of people they are (all credit to individuals ) left behind mass graves and landmines, and Europe and America in turn gave them an entity in BiH called the Republika Srpska. that entity has genocide in its foundations and killing and rape. I am extremely sorry that he[Kino]went through all this ... but it is not the fault of the Bosnians or the fault of Bosnia ... but that is the fault of those Serbian aggressors ... who tried to destroy us ... they did not succeed,and I just want to draw your attention to that. I wish you all the best.

You are way too annoyed by everything. Try to enjoy a moment, stop complaining. It was a bad idea to go this route, but not for the road, nature is worth it in my opinion, the reason why its bad idea is that there is a possibility of encountering a bear :S

You drive the wrong road. You need to take road Bihac -Bos.Petrovac -Kljuc-Mrkonjic Grad -Jajce and thats asfhalt road and there is 80kmh driving road .
