    Turkey is a great Country. The people are incredibky hospitable and friendly. Very proud people. I felt very sad for the recent earthwake. I wish Europe helped more than they actually did.

    So good to see that you have sorted things out and will be back on the road again. Mechanical problems are a real pain in the ass, but as you found out there are always some nice people willing to help out. It refreshes ones' faith in human nature! Looking forward to Istanbul videos and your future travels. Keep smiling!

    lone travel have problems. when you solve one, another one will arise. resolving issues give us so much experience and it will make you able to see the world in a different perspective- my uncle says that. he traveled to so many countries in his life, because of that he is the wisest in the family.

    I never new about Turkey before. What an incredible country and people. I wonder what makes some country's people rude and some other country like Turkey so heavenly? I must go to Turkey one day.

    • @KinoYves
      @KinoYves  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well, you need a Shimano service center to repair this engine, so no, there are no Shimano Service centers in small towns.

      @@KinoYves 4000 km? If someone use bike to go to work and back 20 km every day, it would last him 200 days, not even a full year... That is a very poor endurance...
      But that is not the real problem, sofisticated electric components have tendency to brake down easy if they are under constant pressure and exposed to outside conditions. But they are, because of that, generally easy to replace. The biggest flaw here is that engine doesn't have backup manual switch, so when sensor go down, you could still use it manually shifting between 5-10 speeds, as on classical bike. I mentioned earlier washing machine electroengine as a joke, but that is it, you have washing machine programator that simply assigns speed to electromotor by turning the switch. They better consider such manual witch for next next model as failsafe, or they should redesign whole system so user himself can change sensor easily on the road. Otherwise, no one that has seen how you ended, and your sadness, will ever even consider buying it... I guess that bike costs a lot, at least as some small motorbike

    • @KinoYves
      @KinoYves  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@svarozjov indeed, it's a very poor endurance. And I think it's a shame that they sell such an engine for such a high price. And yeah, the engine cannot be fixed by the user, and it's very bad. It's very frustrating to have a bike that does not work just because of an alarm you can't bypass, for example with a manual switch, as you say.

    You can immediately notice the difference between turks and yemen people. The staff in this yemen restaurant was very rude and aggressive to you. Turkish people would never react like that to a guest.
