With a small budget and not a lot of time they honestly do a very nice job updating these homes, the host is honest but helpful, it's a great show, keep in mind that it's an older show but some of the design is timeless and even better than the ultra minimal and super beige design of today.
Super GREY, no longer beige. After all this grey. I’d love to go back to the beige, (or at least Dover White!) especially for house selling since color means buyers will have to immediately repaint.
Insane how much she was able to improve these properties on a tiny budget. She was always honest, smart and had a great eye. Timeless show, like a lesson in design.
I'm surprised they have another house already and it never crossed their minds to start packing and throwing stuff out before the move. The wife seemed quite dim and unable to grasp the point. Pity the outside of the house was still a mess.
I have to ask where everybody slept in the first house after the beds were reduced to just one? They must have got access to their new house and moved everything there!
My husband has questions: 1. they moved everything out. Is the price of storage included in the $3500 renovation? 2. Where did they stay during the renovation? They have 3 kids and 2 adults and we only saw one bed in the house.
@16:49 that table in the way would drive me nuts it's blocking the passage way. I would have found a long thin or oval table. Or maybe even two storage cubes pushed together so I could move them when not needed.
True, but somehow it didn't dwarf the room. The loveseat actually looks too small for a family. I feel a small sofa would have been better. Not a fan of the pendants over the peninsula, either.
Yes, I got the same impression. She also lets her children deface the house under the "creativity" excuse, buy them some art paper! And even the new partners Real Estate friend mentioned he and the friend had tried to get her to clean up! It's her biggest financial assert, she needs to appreciate that and maintain it.
Ugh....I couldn'tive in those houses .much less want to buy them the way they looked! Good grief ...it's not rocket science people. Sold 6 homes in myife and I always boxed up evrrything personal and spent to s of time cleaning, shining up surfaces whenever there was an open house or tour. Also paid attention to make sure it smelled great.
It looks nice but in that last place, it breaks my heart to see all that beautiful wood trim painted white, especially the little pass-thru door in the dining room.

Sold! That's a great change from previous programs. Renovations that actually paid up.
Transformation of Andreas house was impressive. But no reason why a seller can CLEAN their own house!

Andrea's house with mice, mess, and clutter 😮😮😮😮
Beautiful family, we need an update 15 years later!!!! ❤

I’d forgotten all about this show!👍
I was going to write she's a Kirsty Alsopp clone and the her name came up! The genes are strong!
Dark walls in bungalow brings the walls inwards, which, along with the clutter, making spaces look narrow.
The woman of the couple who owns the house is remarkably narrow in her perspective of how the space "should" look.
What is the name of the paint color, you repainted the living room pls.😊
Good heavens Kirsty's little sister!

Electric rodent defender should be first on the list
1st house is a no even after the reno. And poor Amy. She's so delusional. She wouldn't believe it's raining if she were standing in it.

They already bought a new home. That is why they were desperate to sell ASAP so they do not have two mortgages.
Old tvs so funny

Painting all that beautiful wood in Andrea's house was a terrible, terrible idea. 😢

I would buy it and do the reno...
Oops! The comparable house had reeeeealy old fashioned furniture, making the couple's house look state of the art 😅😅

Totally agree. Couldn’t believe how dull it was yet being described as high presentation!
I was so very sad to see the beautiful wood painted. I wouldn’t buy it that way.
Andrea seems plain lazy and wanted work done on cheap labour 😅

Wife is so cute In last one
Can you update videos like these on you tube….
What’s “salaratry “ needed downstairs?
Sanitary, as in hygiene and cleaning

Why are there some pictures, objects and posters out of focus?
If they have pictures of children they are blurred for safety
I didn’t know you could show a sold house.
Me too ❤❤❤

Cant believe nothing was done about the rodent infestation before.
Last one thought husband was mute
How old is this? I do like it but utube is years old stuff.
Look att. And desktop computer lol
I read that the first season was 2008/2009
Where did the kids sleeping arrangements go.? Did they sell the kids on e bay? 😂
Men hate painting real wood, you can see it on his face.
The second house is disgusting…..she isn’t even embarrassed about it. The new man in her life is in trouble, he’ll be doing all the cleaning.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
