Beautiful house. Just needed a few updates. Any extended family would love it! Loads of families live together these days because rent & buying individual property too expensive. Not weird. Just practical.
The price is probably fine but not with the condition it’s in. Buyers want EASY move in ready homes. Moving is hard enough on a family they don’t want to have to clean, paint, and fix stuff before they can move in. They want move in ready homes that are well maintained.
The porch light may not be their fault. The style with the popular farmhouse decor showed large carriage house style fixtures. These do look nice in the right space but not on that porch. Also most staged homes j look keep a similar color palate throughout.
Why would you carpet that beautiful floor in the mud room? It was gorgeous, plus carpet in a mud room is counterintuitive. That house honestly has so Much old charm. If I bought it, I’d keep it as close to the original state as possible (as in the stuctures and fixtures, not decor/furniture) and make the back yard a beautiful food garden oasis.

Poor fitting slip covers that look like old sheets do not make the living room look good. The bathroom fixes were spot on.
