The first apartment: I love this space! I love the old beams left when the ceiling was raised. Thoughtful, aesthetic living made cozy and serene. Wonderful 😊
Very well designed! Solved many design issues in a compact home. Amazing amount of functionality. Light, feeling of spaciousness, the more than adequate storage areas . Aesthetically simple but interesting & balanced. Impressive. Bravo 👏
Taste differs so greatly as unlike many others commenting here the third one is still my fave. The shower, the kitchen bench, and moving of the bedroom are my fave design features. Amazing!
The first one is so well done. So small and impressively functional. Almost everything is beautiful and perfect. However, the bedroom mezzanine is flat out depressing. There's no reason a bedroom should be so UN-comforting. The French plywood makes cost effective and esthetic sense (that's also locally sourced) throughout the apartment, except for the bedroom floor where it looks very poor and high-school-garage apartment. A simple, neutral, wool berber carpeting with padding on the mezzanine floor or a beautiful area rug of any kind would make it such a lovely landing spot. Sometimes the minimalist mindset insists on simply not making sense or beauty, when it would be so easy to incorporate beauty and comfort, elegantly and without disturbing the minimalist esthetic. All of the apartments were excellent though. So much innovative, beautiful and functional use of space.
Я с большим удовольствием пересматриваю Ваши апартаменты!! Деревянная балка задала тон всему пространству,объединила и акцентировала ..У Вас получился очень теплый дом.Благодарю...
I'm trying the survival blanket shower curtain! I didn't see how it was placed, but hopefully buying some shower loops will help- such a cool idea to brighten up the bathroom in an economical way too
All of them are fantastic. The best possible solutions with the given space. The 2nd one in 18th,so bright and airy, and the beautiful terrace is a luxury. Very pretty. And the last one,Pigalle district 😳😃 wow! So chic....I think it's the biggest one, if I am correct. But so chic and elegantly sharp. Love it. Only the view with the building opposite is not ideal, but it's Paris. Still, they have a good size balcony and in the middle of action and all. I really like the last one. Very clean line, but cozy. All of them are great. I wish them very happy living in their beautiful homes. Thanks for sharing. There were seperate episodes for each of the apts.before. I remember details.👍🏻✨️🇫🇷
These are beautiful and so clever with design. What I love about these the most is that although they are all peaceful and spacious, none of them are stark or overly minimalist, they all feel like homes to be lived in and have personality and real life happen there. It's nice to see the humanity as well as beauty. Definitely keeping this collection to refer back to, thanks ❤
Hey dear NTS team! If you're able to, it'd be great if used the youtube chapter function on the video to mark the runtime for the different apartments :D
These are all so good! So many nice touches, good space for storage, etc. I like that they managed to have actual doors and separation between rooms but still felt like they used the space well, letting in light and avoiding feeling cramped. The third one in particular had many unexpected design choices, but I felt like it worked! I actually quite liked it.
Love these! But Need to correct about the fact that Alvar Aalto was a Finnish architect, not Danish. He's well known for his contributions to mc modern architecture and design here in Finland.
I think she might have hastened over a comma/break in her speech... It sounds to me like she jumps from Danish architects in plural to Alvar Aalto. I'm also Finnish, so I came looking for this comment ;)
This is great. Would love to see more diverse aesthetics in small spaces though. I understand modern aesthetics tends to be more streamlined and gives the illusion of more space, but wonder what a practical space with more historic charm would look like.
I've made this comment before & bears repeating...NTS has the best music to accompany each video they air. I especially enjoyed the soundtrack for apartment #2.
Watching these videos are like sojourning for the Spirit, the music, the creativity, the ambience is all so soothing! I tend to watch heavy stuff like true crime, mainly because it's so easily accessible, but it gets so depressing, when I need uplifting I go for interior design and Never to Small is like a dose of pure bliss. Finding this Paris compilation is tres magnifique!
O couldn't possibly live in small spaces as I dislike going out and am a home bird. These small spaces are ok for people who are out all day and like minimal cleaning.
Thank you for the compilation. It's interesting to see and compare the different approaches to these spaces. That 3rd apartment though... woof. Perhaps it appeals to the client, but whoever next buys this apartment best be prepared for a complete remodel. 😄
impressived by the 2nd apartment. I would like to know more about how a terrase was transformed into bed room ! I've never thougth that kind of operation would be possible
The apartment with the cork entrance wall was too dark. I would suggest the use of whiteboard as you can use magnets to display photos, etc. on the whiteboard.
I love the apartment of the person that had a baby. But honestly, what is it with people putting reading material on or near toilets! My background in microbiology tells me this is a bad idea!
8:45 Alvar Aalto is not Danish! He was Finnish. Most of Aaltos famous buildings are located in Finland, except for a few others … which are not located in Denmark. The connection Aalto has to Denmark is that he influenced Danish design and architecture with his organic modernism.
The first apartment: They did all that reno and still managed not to put in stairs instead of a ladder. Only 20-30 year olds live in a space with a ladder instead of stairs. The day you're injured, sick or she has craps or is pregnant - let's see how that ladder works out... They could have put in stairs with storage in them...
Some very clever use of spaces, to rip it all out and redesign a working, modern, functional home is the best idea, rather than try and just redecorate what is not working....❤
The last apartment is very interesting also. I appreciate the floor plans throughout the apartment. I also like the addition of color where it is used,
Ok, I'm confused. When you say apartment do you own the property. If not why would you put all that time, money & energy into something that is owned by someone else. Then, when they rent to someone after you, they can increase the rental rate bc of all the upgrades. Pls explain...
C'est très beau, ces appartements. Petite surprise: en tant que français je suis surpris par le mauvais anglais parlé par des personnes diplômées, et je suis presque obligé de mettre les surtitres pour comprendre ce qu'ils disent. 😅
Shared Light & Full height Mezzanine: Very sadly it's NOT a true mezzanine, even tough there's enough space within the rafters as shown by the small sky light. Quote "(mezzo means 'half' in Italian) up the wall on a floor which has a ceiling at least twice as high as a floor with minimum height." Wiki'.00 If that 1m of height was added from ceiling centre to both sides of the bed there would be a real full height 2nd floor.* Also SOP allows Skylights being installed on top of roof is usually not consider a change in roof heights. If this was done the height could be even 3m !!! This large sky light would also bring in so much more sunlight to whole suite. If there was a 2ndry sliding panel to the bathroom of polycarbonate the light from main room & the bathroom could be shared & at night would act as a large lamp. * Probable that a lower truss on a rafter may need to be removed, but that cross bracing to the rafters either side will solve any structural issues.
The 2nd Apartment with the view of the Sacre-Coeur is beautiful. The only downside is the massive 5g tower looming over the balcony. There is no way I'd want to live that close to those without knowing what the implications on your health would be.
The first apartment:
I love this space! I love the old beams left when the ceiling was raised. Thoughtful, aesthetic living made cozy and serene. Wonderful 😊
I loved the 1st one! The way they combined the bath, closet, bed and shelving was fabulous!
the first appartement of Matthieu Torres and Clementine is super impressive. Simple, interesting, cozy and airy. I wouldn't change a thing.
The first apartment is stunning. Warm and considerate, it feels minimalistic and joyful. Wonderful design 😘
These 4 houses makes me so relaxed. Love the 4th apartment. just what I dreamed for. perfect
Thank you for sharing !
Very well designed! Solved many design issues in a compact home. Amazing amount of functionality. Light, feeling of spaciousness, the more than adequate storage areas . Aesthetically simple but interesting & balanced. Impressive. Bravo 👏
It was an honor to be nominated. 🙏
I know right?
I really like the use of drawers for dishes instead of upper cabinets. Thoughtful designs can make very small spaces more than adequate.
The light blue bathroom 😍
What an exceptional video presentation of these beautiful spaces in Paris. I LOVE IT!!! XOX from Ireland
All of these small spaces are brilliantly designed and decorated. Bravo to all of the owners, all of this creativity and skills are fascinating!
Love revisiting that blue bedroom. Stunning colour!
All 5 apartments are stunning, well designed and inspiring ❤ Love this edition
Taste differs so greatly as unlike many others commenting here the third one is still my fave. The shower, the kitchen bench, and moving of the bedroom are my fave design features. Amazing!
So inspiring! I love the imagination that some people have to turn small spaces into enjoyable havens.

Excellent 4 inspiration what fits in small spaces.
@8:45 FINNISH architect Alvar Aalto. If a DANISH one was really intended, may I suggest Arne Jacobsen or Børge Mogensen? ;)
Korrekt 😊
21:47 blue is sooo cool!!
Yes, these studios feature quite interesting and appropriate designs - very nice documentary, beautifully filmed and edited as always 👏

Done! Thanks for the reminder!
@@nevertoosmall Awesome! Thank you :)
It feels like we all had an amazing Paris tour. 🧡🧡
This video was only made for me! I love your Paris appartments!😊
Yay, then look out for part 2 coming soon! There are so many good ones to only have one video ;)
These are all so good! So many nice touches, good space for storage, etc. I like that they managed to have actual doors and separation between rooms but still felt like they used the space well, letting in light and avoiding feeling cramped. Beautiful for a single person or someone who is retired.
Love all these creative solutions. As for myself, I would feel most comfortable in the second apartment because of the materials used.
In love w the 3rd one! Such a design!
Beautiful apartments! Nice features, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. 🤩
wow - so much inspiration. Loved each one but for different reasons.
Fantastic, thoughtful design created a spacious yet intimate space.
An incredibly systematic and laborious living space. congratulations very much
Love the dreamy blue bathroom that Jean and Victor created🩵🩵🩵
The third apartment is my all time favourite from NTS ❤
I completely agree! Beautiful design.
Love these! But Need to correct about the fact that Alvar Aalto was a Finnish architect, not Danish. He's well known for his contributions to mc modern architecture and design here in Finland.

Love nr 4!

Bravo🎉
The last one is dope
Its totally my vibe ☺️
Wonderful !
Enjoy
amazing ideas!
Always very interesting !
All so lovely.
Mignon 100/% I love ir, clean, practical and beautiful
O couldn't possibly live in small spaces as I dislike going out and am a home bird. These small spaces are ok for people who are out all day and like minimal cleaning.
I have mild dyslexia and the title gave me a fright!
anywho, these apartments are beatifully made!
Oops, sorry about the title fright! Hopefully the beautiful apartments made up for it.
@@nevertoosmall❤.Thx.beautiful video❤

well designed & pretty , love them all 🩶 thanks NTS
Timely for the Paris Olympics, oui Pari!
Paris apartments are always my favourite!
I love the chandelier ( 3:20 ) in the first one and would love information on it! Is there a place for that somewhere?
impressived by the 2nd apartment. I would like to know more about how a terrase was transformed into bed room !
I've never thougth that kind of operation would be possible
love the last apartment, can someone find me the actual video from when it was first aired?
Here is the episode ✨ th-cam.com/video/AHgl0QP4QeQ/w-d-xo.html
The apartment with the cork entrance wall was too dark. I would suggest the use of whiteboard as you can use magnets to display photos, etc. on the whiteboard.
una hermosura todooooo 😍❤👏🌺🌸
Fantastic place-
I love the apartment of the person that had a baby. But honestly, what is it with people putting reading material on or near toilets! My background in microbiology tells me this is a bad idea!
Always,very,very bad😅agree😊
@@sunstarpunkme too😅
Todos são lindos, mas o último apartamento ... Ganhou meu ❤
Love them all.
Open selving on kitchen wall would look beautiful
The Togo seats were created by Michel Ducaroy a French designer and artist.
Wow. I love 3, 4 and 5..... but 3 hate the furnishings.
It’s important to have a walk in wardrobe to keep your inflatable lobster in. (At 5:20).
My favorite comment in this video ❤❤❤❤❤
how do I use a survival blanket as a shower curtain 😮
5 of the Best Small Paris Apartments, couldn't be more exaggerated.
I wish to know the cost of the apartments and renovations.
Alvar Aalto was Finnish
8:45 Alvar Aalto is not Danish! He was Finnish. Most of Aaltos famous buildings are located in Finland, except for a few others … which are not located in Denmark. The connection Aalto has to Denmark is that he influenced Danish design and architecture with his organic modernism.
beautiful! alvar aalto is finnish.

"i love the works of Danish architect Aalto" 😁
Some very clever use of spaces, to rip it all out and redesign a working, modern, functional home is the best idea, rather than try and just redecorate what is not working....❤
3 and 5 for me
The third apartment had challenges which were addressed with creativity and imagination.
The last apartment is very interesting also.
I appreciate the floor plans throughout the apartment.
I also like the addition of color where it is used,
I also like the toilets that are in separate spaces.
Love that none of the spaces are tv centric
Kitchen is good. This space does not allow for children or being sick. After a surgery one can't climb the ladder.
08:41, Alvar Aalto, the ... Danish (?) architect!
cool🎉🎉🎉
Alvar Aalto was a Finnish architect, not Danish...nice episode though anyways
Alvar Aalto is from Finland!

These are great. Not great is 45min worth of ads on a 41min video. TOO MANY LONG FORM ADS.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤
Love all the apartments. But having a child I know I can never make it work for us. Perfect for single people or minimalist couples.
Just casually ignores the monkey hanging from the ceiling...was it a lamp? I'll never sleep now.
If you were offered a $500,000 house or a $5 million house, which would you choose?
Do you own this appartment?
bonjour de Tours ! j; ai exactement le même accent quand je parle anglais !
C’est vraiment pas bien !
The first one!
La fenêtre (appartement 2) et grande baie (appartement 3) vitrée qui donne directement sur le lit dans la chambre me stressent énormément
Surprising that a professional architect who admires Alvar Aalto gets his nationality wrong. He was Finnish, not Danish.
Even more surprising that NOBODY in the NTS team picked it up either. What a fail.
