I just ordered my Epson EcoTank 4760 sublimation printer as recommended from MGL
If you don’t have a large printer, can you do more than one press or piece the project together (with heat resistant tape) and do it in one press? I’m looking at the garden flag! Also, can you put the design on both sides of the flag?
You can piece pages together to achieve the desired size. The garden flags are so thin I wouldn't recommend printing both sides unless you make your own doing cut and sew

Tanner if you could please explain doing larger images with smaller printers. I've been trying to use free software such as gimp and inkscape but seen to be having issues.

I have a question Makers Gonna Learn. I’ve been watching you since 2020 when I started using my cricut. I’ve gotten a lot better over the years. Anyway I want to take a photo image I took of my granddaughter and use it with Infusible ink. How would you recommend I do that? Please help! :-)

What about sublimation sprays? Have y’all tried any that work? As in for shirts, if I’m using a 100% cotton shirt or a 60/40 blend shirt?
QUESTION for you- I am trying to sublimate a hand fan... and I want it to be a solid color with some words on the front.. for example yellow background and it says hello.. would i print out the picture then cut it to exactly the fan size, even though it's a little bumpy? How would I get it to fit perfectly? Or would I also do two layers? First the yellow, and then the words? Or do you know something that's not a fan that I could imitate for sublimation? I searched everywhere on youtube, but you guys teach it best!!

Hi Tanner, my daughter in law and I have done the sublimation conversion, and I know that you can't go from sublimation ink to regular ink once conversion is complete, but can you use different brands of sublimation ink once converted? We are just about out of ink and she purchased one brand and not realizing we purchased a different brand than the initial brand. Can anyone help me with this issue? We are getting FRANTIC!!!

I just did made a sublimation T-shirt using the heat, resistant tape and where the tape was it left a yellowish color on the shirt! I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I am using the same tape you’re using and pressing it the same way, but it’s leaving that color on the shirt from the heat resistant

Anyone know if there's any daily maintenance for a converted Epson sublimation printer? I just got mine and I've heard many horror stories about ink drying up if it's not used daily. Can I keep it unplugged when it's not in use?

Quick question, I made my mug 11oz at 360F at 160Sec. Everything was perfect, I start putting in my dishwasher 10 times using it. The location where it's sublimated it's starting to crack. Why and what did I do wrong?? Thank you in advance Liz

I have a Sawgrass SG 500, and everything always prints out pink or red. Do you know how I can fix this? I’ve asked lots of people for help but nobody will help me! They just ask me a lot of technical questions that idk the answers to! I feel lost, and I even got a full size heat press to go with it…

We find Starcraft fantastic but you can use either of them as we do.

I’m so frustrated 1 when I print my image from my mac, using Cricut design space, using the Epson Surecolor 170 IT WILL NOT PRINT MIRROR!!! It shows it’s mirrored in DS but will NOT print mirror. My husband is a computer/tech guy, he even tried everything and it’s still not printing mirrored. So I have to put it in PowerPoint and print it mirrored. I don’t understand why I’m having this issue.

Question for tomorrow….after sublimating the flag with your design do you put it back in heat press for 10 seconds? I heard it sets the sublimation.

I bought an epson 2760 and used the ink that came with it...can it be used as sublimation? Or is there a specific ink that is used for sublimation? I tried sublimated shirts and doesn't come out good 😔what am doing wrong I need help please I'm a beginner learner..I really want to do sublimation mugs..
I made the same mistake two days ago and found out that once you use regular ink you can't switch over at this point. 😪
@@jackiewilliamson3251 no way really??? So there's nothing I can do about it? I can't clean the tank or something? Like it's not easy at all...basically I'm screwed and have to buy a new epson 2760 but this time actually use the sublimation ink 😟
