Hmmm not sure Lauren on some of your advice. Especially about the printer. Mine sets for weeks. Because im out traveling, never has been a problem. It is the Epson F170. I think there are more than one way to do things that work.
I'm glad you said this also. I have the same printer. It's a self-cleaning printer. It clearly states that in its info and it will upkeep the heads for you, if you keep it plugged in and on. If you're using a converted printer.. sure... but also using cheapo off brand inks will also dry up and gum up your heads. So it's just familiarizing yourself with the device you're using and using quality ink.
I just got this the F170 but have watched two other TH-camrs one who confirmed with epson that the printer did not do self maintenance like the sawgrass but you are saying it does? I hope so because that’s the reason I got it.
I think the biggest issue I've had and still have about going from DTF to subli is finding pastel colored shirts that are 65% poly. It's been a couple of years, and I still cannot find high quality tee shirts that don't need to be bleached or are see-through. I'd love some advice!
Question: why does my shrink wrap ALWAYS rip while in the convection oven? I am finding the print is lighter where the shrink wrap rips. Can I get away with NOT using it?
