Lovely walk Karen. The coast offers so much in terms of scenery & challenge. Have a good break away with your family. I hope you feel refreshed on your return ATB xx

I hardly ever get out on the coast Karen but when I do I love it. This looked a really good stretch and a stinging one to. You had the techniques to sort that out though. Always fun and bright. Have a cool rest of the week. Mark

Great tip for stings Karen. I set up a woodland camp a couple of months ago in the dark and my hands got stung all over because I couldn't see what I was doing 🤣

Girl, I know all about the heat it was 99 degrees with a feel like of 102 just recently when I went out of town for a hike. I went out for a bit but just can't hike in those temps and 99% humidity, it is brutal. Looks like you had an ocean breeze to help keep you a bit cooler and it's always a little better in the shade. Always love your videos!

Nice little hike on a part of the coast that few explore on YT. You should get Jason on camera, a bit of spousal banter (where you edit his funny bits and keep yours) would be a good edition to the film methinks. I always think people would see and enjoy more of Cornwall if they took more time to learn what names mean especially the topographic names, the same goes for Wales too. Everyone knows what a Ben or Loch is in Scotland, but do you know the Cornish or Welsh?

I feel I have an awful lot to learn from you Si! I find your knowledge fascinating and love hearing you talk 😍
Jason doesn’t want to be on camera, maybe in time.... I catch him in shot from time to time so that’s progress😂

The second beach you mentioned on way your way back , if its the one I'm thinking of, there used to be a path down to it, fairly steep and very overgrown, at the bottom you have to scramble over the rocks which jut out into the sea. At high tide the beach disappears, so if ever you get to go down there its important to know the tides. When I was a kid there was a campsite (no facilities) at a farm and the beach was part of their land, the farmers wife told us the history of how it was a smugglers beach due the nature of the access. There my be some locals who know about it or remember going down there as kids.

Oh wow that’s so interesting thank you!!! It’s so stunning around there I love it! Will have to see if the campsite is still there!
Thank you so much for watching!! 😃
