@ yes it’s a lot deeper and what I’ve found is that the more I use it the more seasoned it becomes so things don’t stick to it it’s absolutely brilliant and obviously weighs very little! 🥰 Slightly smaller surface area I think but I manage 😍

@@ksgonewild Husband bought me an x-boil for xmas so this pan will go well. I still love my trangia as well. Does the x-boil blow away in wind?

@ ahhh nice!!! I’ve never experienced that but I would always try to use it in a sheltered spot anyway as it will burn more efficiently.

@@steviesteve750 no I haven’t heard of that one I’ll look it up. Problem with pulling the side guy ling forward more (to help with the sagging) is it would cover the doorway. The end guys were pulled really tight. Xx

@ksgonewild I just bought one myself, I'm going to fit some tarp clips to the base of the side panels so at least the rain won't blow inside. So long as the outer doesnt brush against the inner and drop condensation onto you then I'm fine with it flapping about a bit.

@ksgonewild yes I find them but expensive too. I've been making my own and freezing them in my lar bags I may try dehydrating my own this year if I get the chance. I'm not good but taking one day at a time my dad loses being outdoors so I know I will find solace outside once I can face it and yes a woodland camp will be great but Lonewolf closed down end of summer 😔

I use the x-boil which is available from Outdoor Gear Essentials (link in the description) and a titanium pot I bought from Amazon as I like a shorter, fatter style pot as opposed to a deeper taller cup style. You just need to make sure that you get the right size xboil for your cup 🥰🥰

@@bobalinga I do wish it had pit zips as I think they’re key to prevent overheating, especially for us women of a certain age. From that aspect it’s quite basic really but I do love how light it is and the sleeves and body are actually a decent length which is lacking in a lot of coats I find. ​@ksgonewild I find not making comparisons helps - we automatically compare an unfavourable situation with an imagined, better one. The amount of mental suffering this creates...but if you can pull your mind back each time it makes that comparison, things do get a bit easier. If you make it a practice, it habit will eventually become a habit. A really good and helpful habit. Anyways, don't want to come on like a poundshop therapist. You take good care and respect those small steps.

I need to get 1 of James punches, my old valley and peak 1 is a bit worn and they really make a difference in the winter. I always watch your videos, I just watch them on the big telly and the. @AmandaFoster-p5s . I know, it really is, isn't it? Some of my jackets/ fleeces have a right hand poacher's pocket, but you normally need to partially undo the garment to gain access, which isn't always convenient
