2017 kia forte wont start "bypass"

I have a 2017 kia forte and when I turn the key over all the electronics come on and so does the radio but when I turn it over it goes to start then dies then when I try to turn it over again it just clicks once. I had a problem like this in my 02 gmc do I done the same thing to this car I took the starter fuse out and found wich prongs in the fuse slot makes a spark and it's the 30 and 87 prongs. it might take a minute but you'll have to hear a sound or it'll start the car either or but to let yall know if your car has this problem this can bypass it so you can drive it to a shop and they can fix it...on my truck the mechanic said neutral safety switch but on this car or any others it might be the starter relay or starter itself I'm no mechanic and it's been awhile it could be any of those problems for why its not starting...if you know the battery is good and this happens try this out. I hope it helps.

Works 💯...Went to start my 2017 forte...Just clicked...had power all gauges worked. Done the exact same thing you did only mine started when i connected the wires

So turns out this problem may be in others vehicles to but it was a coil pack recall so take it to kia and they should fix the problem free..if the video helps start the car i would recommend taking it to get it checked for recallsor look up recalls for said vehicle

I have a 2017 forte and both low beams went out at the same time where can I find my fuse and relay ?can you do a video pointing it out ?

This guy has no idea..that not even a fuse.its a relay.lucky you didn't fry the ecm.

Trial and error I figured if it works for one it should work for all had no problems with it since

I’m having the same problem Car lights and inside lights work and everything but it just won’t crank but instead of what your doing can I just buy a new Fuse

ive tried newer fuses and it didnt help the problem idk what really goes on when it happens my guess is that the security lock system from the computer of the vehicle keeps it from sending the signal to the starter so youll have to bypass it

What’s a permanent fix for this? I switched my relays (starter and cold air) and still didn’t work.

Take it to kia and have them run the recalls turns out this was the coil packs

Its just 1 ground wire clipped on both ends..any gauge should work
