Dacia Sandero With Power Steering Leak ( Fixed ) pipe & pressure switch

Early morning recovery ‪@autosolutionscheckpoint‬ , Dacia Sandero diagnosed and recovered to the unit for repairs , car was repaired , doing my very best to keep costs down for the customer , they had there car back in no time and were delighted.

My wifes did the same after being sat for a while during lockdown. She'd drove about 10 miles, then was negotiating a turn in a housing estate when she lost power steering. I headed over, swapped cars and drove it home without power steering. The part failure was identical to this one and was easy to spot by the pool of fluid. Popped it up on the jack / stands and took only a few minutes to replace then refill the fluid. Must be a common-ish fault if the car in this video failed in the same way too. My wifes was a 63 plate.

I never got a notification of this message,
When I spoke to Arnold Clark renault/dacia dealership on the phone , I asked if it was a common fault ,he said no , he's never heard of it, but I believe it 100% is a common issue, since doing this video I've repaired a couple of others, a sandero and a duster.
Comparing cars from the past is like comparing houses from the past also, anything now is overpriced cheap tac , cars where better assembled back in the day and the parts where usually made from strong materials , now its all biodegradable brittle money making parts for the dealerships. Crooks .
