Would that be on the 2.0 variants mate? Adblue etc ? 2017 onwards? Wee pickups driving fantastic now . However I never got to wash and advertise it at the weekend. Ended up having to do one of my Mrs company vans as a priority. So it was put on the back burner .

@autosolutionscheckpoint aye mate upto 21plate,but not all of them do it strangely enough. Lol always our own that's last to get attention. Sold van it's now living out you're way.

@autosolutionscheckpoint the wet belts aren't as bad to do as people make out,little fiddley but easy enough,problem is the particles of belt,get into the oil galleries and can starve parts. Got one on ramp just now and the swarf that was in the sump was mental. Picked up 11 plate focus for 400. All the toys except cruise control

@garymcmillan4177 I've never worked on one. Always pass the work on when I get asked . I just stick to the light repairs now , quick money . I contemplated buying a 2019 ex aa transit . Looked braw and decent coin. But wouldn't trust that engine

@alanellis6688 no bud , unfortunately not . Didn't know the layout for guidance, so just stuck to the main part of kinneil estate . The wee 205 is looking as braw as ever . I took the rx8 hillclimb car down (hateful car, but quite fast) . I'm just hoping one day this hillclimb event gets back to the standard or back in the day. The full of kinneil estate was mobbed with show vehicles , snack vans. Trade stalls etc etc. But with the inflation of everything has made it uneconomically viable. And I feel that's why it's not a massive event due to lack of funds

@markmurphy9280 thanks Mark for taking the time to comment. Yeah the joys of hindsight. When I noticed it was already too late. I do all my editing etc on my phone , so no special equipment. The videos collectively for the main feature take up an epic amount of room on my phone so they are deleted as soon as the video is made to make room . I'm a better me mechanic than a producer , put it that way 🤣🤣🤣. I'm still stuck in the 90s 00s . Just really winging it at life the now 🤣🤣. Please consider subscribing if your not already on board. For news etc? They look too heavy duty for that. Wouldn't surprise me if they where armoured . If they where military, why on earth have they used a Ford ranger as they are garbage for reliability .😂😂

Just be careful if your getting it tho , as it also could be turbo or injectors to name a couple. If your buying it and it needs a turbo, I have one on the shelf forn£100. I don't rate these engines at all, one of the worst problems I've seen with them , is a small rubber O ring between the oil pump and the engine goes , O ring is a few pence , but to do the job is very Labour intensive and isn't a straight forward job. It causes the engine to seize up. The 2.0 cdti is a big gamble in my honest opinion. Good luck mate

It's perfectly fine, . I have been doing it this way for nearly 3 decades in the motor trade and never once had the problem you mentioned . Don't get me wrong, this could happen it's slopped on and maybe filled with oil and driven shortly after, this was left empty for a 2 day period for it to cure properly before the oil was put in . Cheers

@mickroda3876 sorry for the delay , I was at a classic car show today so was doing alot of filming . Have you tested the volts on your battery? When the battery is idle ,if its good , it is typically around 12.6v . If its a bit less could possibly mean dead cells in your battery and may need changed.Test it while its running and it will frequent between 13.5v and 14.5v of the alternator is doing its job properly. If its higher it will be overcharging and alternator is at fault or if it doesn't have much activity on the reading then it's not getting a charge . Meaning alternator also. , this is where I would start, by checking the battery and how its charging

Yeah it had a new alternator about 4 months ago. Just tested it on idle and it's kicking 14.5v

@mickroda3876 maybe a fueling issue 🤔 has it been plugged in recently, how long have you been experiencing this problem? Fuel filter been changed?

Yes you are right however the plug has a rubber coating seal to repair it from leaks . Very effective 👌

Hi mate , yes I sure do, it's actually booked in this morning to get moted again. Awh thats a Shame about the one you have . What is your plans with it? Could still be a good source of parts to breath life into other cavaliers . Great wee cars and so nostalgic. My dad always had them when I was wee , he always had sri hatchback ones . I've had the chance of another convertible cavalier for 200 but it's down the other side of London so would cost about 6 billion quid in diesel to collect it 🤣🤣

Yes , it's engine oil mate . This one was mental , it was like a cut vain when the engine was running. It was spraying onto the fan belt sending the oil everywhere. It was a complete nightmare
