It never gets boring to see reactors keep saying "the last episode was the best" for the whole show.
I mean you cant blame them, bcuz the show keeps getting better and better! 🤗
I enjoy even more how everytime people got crazy when "to be continued" showed up on screen, first they say "what?" next time they say "oh no!!!!" and then they start trying to smash things and cursing. soooooo satisfied.

It's been years and I just noticed something. All titan shifters cut themselves to turn. Reiner, Ymir, Grisha. 8:15 Only Freida does the hand bite thing. And Eren, who does it by "instinct"

Yeah, if you know the whole plot of the story. EVERYTHING you see on screen will mean something.
The things that came out in this episode.
1. Frida and Historia
- In her childhood, which Historia talked about in 3×3, there were only her and her mother.
However, contact with Eren revealed that she spent her childhood with Frida.
In other words, Frida had the ability to manipulate the memories of people and erased Historia's memories with that ability.
2. Eren and Grisha
- Grisha had the power of a titan, and he took away the power of Frida's titan with that power.
(Based on Rod Reiss's claim that Frida's titan is a titan superior to any titan, Frida's titan may be a titan with the Coordinate ability Reiner and Bertolt mentioned.
In other words, Frida's titan has the ability to control titans.)
(But Frida lacked the experience to use that ability, so she lost to Grisha and lost the power of titan even with that tremendous ability.)
After that, Grisha turns Eren into a titan and makes Eren eat himself.
In other words, Eren has both the titan that Grisha had and the titan that Freda had.
3. Mikasa's parents
- Mikasa's mother is Oriental, and Mikasa's father is Ackermann.
4. Kenny and his grandfather.
- The reason Kenny killed the military police to the extent that he was called the Kenny the Ripper was that the military police tried to attack his house, which is Ackermann, and kept his house from it.
Kenny's grandfather said the king could manipulate people's memories. (The king here refers to the power of Frida's titan.)
However, there were clans who did not manipulate their memories, which were "Oriental" and "Ackermann".
To summarize the important things
1. Frida's titan has both the ability to manipulate titans and the ability to manipulate people's memories.
2. Eren has both Grisha's titan and Frida's titan.
3. The memories of "Oriental" and "Ackermann" are not manipulated.
I’m not going to lie, only for a second, but at first I thought you meant “came out” in the OTHER way. 😅

Important distinction. Other families are immune to the memory wipe, but those ones are loyal to the Reiss family, and are thus given status.
Let me correct a lil bit: The oriental clan and the Ackerman clan were persecuted/killed because they are inmune to the founder titan powers (their memories can't be changed, and they can't be turned into titans either)

Yes Austin you are correct about the Ackerman’s powers, it is a one time activation/awakening that happens and after that they are free to use it whenever. This is easy to understand in Japanese, but all of the English subtitles I’ve seen (I don’t know what funanimation uses) uses the plural for the word moment when Levi says “I’ve had moments like that too.” It is clearly a singular moment in Japanese, so it really should be “I’ve had/experienced that moment also.” That mistranslation always bugs me.

the info u didn't realize from prev eps is that Historia is like a bastard child that's why rod reiss never came to visit her until his family got killed which means Historia is the only one left with royal blood so thats why he visited and took her then killed her mom for no evidence
...and for more info you will get from upcoming episodes. cool thing abt Aot is even after you go halfway through S4 u still will be learning and get revealed new things and it all still will make a lot of sense when u learn it

This episode is where the season gets real
This whole thing with grisha killing freida Eren eating grisha all happened between the 2nd and 3rd episode of season 1 remember when grisha was riding back to shiganshina crying praying that everyone was alive (that was after killing Frieda) and when Eren woke up and he just magically had the key around his neck (that was the night before eating grisha)
If u guys really noticed erens dad took Fredas power so what was erens dad titan then coz he turned into a titan then ate frida then give his power to eren so
Season 3 part 1 is really the start of unraveling the truth as the story gets really complicated but it keeps getting better from here on out (since season 1 duh)

sometimes I really think about how you guys started off with Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood lmao
talk about raising the bar because off the bat there are like 10+ animes I could think of with better animation, graphics, visuals etc. but damn man… these two are just the pinnacle of anime storytelling: AoT in the sense that every detail holds significance and the way it scatter clues only to be collected in a unique way later on and FMAB in how it ties up a complex story so well and yet satisfyingly in such a short amount of episodes
rn all i hope you guys would watch next that’s plausible are 1) The Promised Neverland 1st Season ONLY, 2) Death Note L Arc, 3) and maybe Hunter x Hunter but just because it’s my personal favorite lol

Sure others have mentioned it already but season 3 part 2 is insane. I genuinely think it's the best t.v I've seen, period and I'm a grown arse man who watches a shit tonne of t.v.
Also I just wanted to add on you guys talking about how stuff is getting revealed now blows your mind that it was foreshadowed in season 1.
I am convinced that this show was planned in detail through to season 4 before the first episode/manga comic, I can't elaborate yet cause I don't wanna spoil anything, but it really adds to the story having such direction of where it will go.

Yes, it was.
the revolution arc was soo long in the manga, its fine with me but i fear the audience might hate it and think its boring. Studio wit also feared the same thing. so they made this arc SUPER QUICK, basically squeezing in 10+ chapters into 5+ episodes.
@@Salvadorzin1 This answer was so unsatisfying that I actually checked the manga XD and yeah, it's pretty much the same. But the difference is that memory thing overall was shown more (Eren and Historia dreams and stuff), and that makes it less weird when they start talking about memory altering. IMO.
But yeah, infromation about memory altering is the same/very similar.
@@BloodyDIMISIS55 If you take in account that an anime is made in 30 frames per second and each page is one frame only, it's very easy to compress 3+ manga chapters in one anime episode. The additional time is only the time needed to dub the characters.
@@BloodyDIMISIS55 Although I admit that the things in this arc interest me the least, I would still prefer it to be a bit longer. At least one episode maybe? Arc being shorter (a little bit rushed) hurt the characters and situation for me.
