Brilliant - this is very useful - thank you. I’m going to be using vandyke crystals soon for the first time on a restoration project. Do you apply a coat of button polish after every application of vandyke crystals when building up the colour?
Thank you. I am glad it was useful. Yes you need to seal or remove each coat of van dyke. If you try and apply van dyke on van dyke, you just wipe off the coat before. If you leave VD unsealed it will come off on clothes or with sweat in hands. If you like the VD coat, seal with BP and then assess, if not, wipe off with damp cloth and do it again. 👊🏻
