I ground out the bottoms of my doors. It was close to needing skins but I just bedlined it until I could get new doors and then sprayed it down with wool wax.
Hey man loving these series, working on a 7.3 myself id love to see longer videos, no disrespect i know your probably really busy but just something to keep in mind
Yes the 11-16 swap is wayy to much too you got core support fenders hood etc vs just header panel headlights grille and bumper, I love the 05-07 the most too
Absolutely man, if you want a quick guide for now here is how I did it: Power source: brown wire on back of headlight switch Grounded to each door pannel On the mirror the black wire is ground and the blue wire is power to the running light! Hope this helps
I'd go ahead and do the 08+ rear spring hangers while the bed was off and everything eas easy to get to. The axles aren't actually centered on the springs on these trucks, iirc they're about 8" off center. The +08 hangers and leafs fix that. The 08+ rear leafs are longer.
@@nick7.398 damn, idk if something’s wrong on your end or mine but I mean I ran just fox shocks on my 6.0 and unloaded it rode rougher than a 6.7 with fox’s also. That’s why Carli when you buy their kits they tell you they recommend to swap the hangers to get better travel and ride quality
I have 2005 F 250 regular cab It needs cab corners , rockers and paint. I have a replacement bed on it already. If you’re looking for another truck to do let me know. It’s a gas truck unfortunately I’m looking for someone to go the work for me
Tbh I just got done tonight with rockers on mine and I promised myself im never doing another set, too much dirty hard long work. Ive done easily 10-15 sets they arent worth it much nicer doing collision on newer cars. Im sure you could find an independent body shop in your area that can fix yours tho

Smart, get you a extra couple years before you have to spend the money on new parts

Respectable, just dropped a 14 min one!
You do a great job.
Do it the way you want too
Don’t listen to anyone else.
Your trucks always turn out great. I’m sure this one will too
Thank you man and your right you should always do your own projects to your own liking, not someone else’s
I see people doing the 11-16 front end conversions, don’t get me wrong I love the 11-16 but a proper built 1999-2007 looks amazing

@@nick7.398yeah my favorite base truck is the 02 and 03s with the new style gauges, I like your transmission though, I wish I had the manual lol
can you try to make a video on doing the wiring on the tow mirrors when you reinstall them?

Where did you get the front end conversation? Like the bumper and grille and headlights pannel?
The headlights, led bulbs, and conversion harness for them were all ebay specials. The header panel grille and bumper were marketplace finds
Whats the size on those BFGs?
35x12.50r20
how’d you manage to take the powerstroke and f350 decals off the cab?
I think its in the video I use a rubber mallet and a puddy knife
@@nick7.398 ah ok might have missed it cause i know there’s tabs on the backside and i haven’t found a good way to take them off to replace them
