On my 2012 6.2 CCSB, I got crunchy rocker panels (only the bottoms of the parts you can see below the doors) and on the bed, I got wheel arches that need cleaning up, as well as a bed floor and rails that could use patching up (I'm just replacing the floor and all 5 bed rails), a few small, but still noticeable dents on the cab and bed and I need a new chrome piece on the passenger side of the rear bumper.
As far as I am concerned, it's worth it to clean an old truck up if it runs strong. The new trucks are too much, and the used market ain't much better.
My cab corners are still solid and I'm not using the rig for towing daily anymore, so you've got me seriously inspired...!

Any recommendations on what I should do to get more power out of it? I dont need something crazy but another 100HP would be nice. Great restore/upgrades. I've been looking for a set of stacked headlight assemblies for my 2K F350. Think those would fit next to the stock grill assembly? Also, did you say you were required to replace the back plate? to make the 05 headlamps work?
I agree with your statements, body work is something you perfect over years of trial and error. My experience has been mostly error, and all I have wrong with mine is a small ding next to the rear tail lamp. I'll probably avoid the error and have someone try to pull it out. Restored, these trucks are better than new.

Thank you, I also was failing at body and paint for years before I got good, yes for a full 05 clip swap you need the header panel, if you want just the 05 lights you can trim the header panel and install them reusing the 99-04 grille and bumper. Riff raff diesel has instructions on how to trim the fiberglass header panel to make them fit.
