I kind of agree that a portion of the viewerbase has ruined this season. It is very obviously influenced by social media reactions. People just don't pay attention, I think many expected mindless gore and when that wasn't what the show was about they mentally tuned out. Unfortunate, the mystery has been a great ride so far for me.
Its not about the gore. Its that they have litereally answered nothing up to now. Guess what? Season 3 apparently also answers nothing. That is a PROBLEM! Whether you like it or not. And don't get me started on the time twist. A time twist, is the VERY last thing this show needed and I actually like the show a lot
Yea, you're way off baae. The problem with this show is it sloooooowly pulls you along with barely ever moving the story forward. Then on top of that it continues to have a group of people all trapped in the dame place, and not just not talking to each other, but constantly going on alone on "missions" without telling others they are leaving or what happened while they were gone. With how insane and supernatural this place is, it breaks all sense of reality when you don't have the entire town sharing all their info.
yes but it’s actually starting to get really annoying that they keep postponing every single “mystical” thing that happened, there’s so many things that were left unexplained and unanswered and i feel like they forgot about it, they’re literally edging us. first season was actually decent ( some of the actors play so poorly) but still it felt like it was going somewhere, but they just keep doing the cliche cringe cliffhangers and then tell you the most unrealistic and unconnected answer. they suck. literally. i hate this show now.
I don't think you can talk about things being plot holes or continuity errors until the whole story has been told. They have told us this story has been mapped out from the beginning. Can't we just let it play out? This need for instant gratification from viewers is so frustrating to see.
@@vancelein3121 I’m not asking for instant gratification. I’m asking for their own dialogue to be consistent and for characters to remember the things they even figured out last season
@@TheFacelessGirlYT But they do??? Examples? It was not confirmed through dialogue in Season 2 that everyone has had dreams of the town, it was confirmed everyone in the town IS CURRENTLY having dreams while in the town.
Besides they also said this show is not like lost. Lost was in fact being written as it reacted to its fan base. The show runners have stated that this show has an ending and that there already is a conclusion to it all.
Who cares whether you agree or not, what are your reasons, because there are many to the contrary and you provided zero. ;) Creators said that they have the beggining and and the end already, but the middle stories may change, so we do know that things change. The main annoyance from the very first season for a majority of the audience was that characters do not share or sometimes even withhold information, season 3 addresses that beyond obvious in many, many scences, and Jade saying that any meeting with more than three people is pointless was imho directed at the audience. Although that was not our point, the meeting should be about sharing information, nothing about current "politics" of the town, so it seems they do pay attention, but they do not take it seriously. Tom's death, Tilly's death, Donna's witch symbology and many more.
lol sorry but when she started saying the viewers ruined the show, definitely lost me. Or the idea that they changed the story bc of a theory 😂. The show is set for 5 seasons, the writers have been pretty clear about how the seasons n story/answers would play out. Basically all of season 3 is a buildup to episode 9 and 10. Similar to how Seasons 1-3 are a buildup to the final 2 seasons.
Dr Mabusa and the three witches from Suspiria. Mabusa was literally written on the head rest in the ambulance Victor's dad is resting on. The witches had a coven that was hidden under the disguised of a ballet studio. We see ballerinas all through the show.
I thought so to, before watching episode 8, but after watching. I seriously think its a combination of folk lore and fairytales. I now believe it's some kind of dream experiment (Like Inception) however I think it started back during the WWW3. I also think the antagonist is a family working together and somehow it's connected to Tilly and Christopher. I feel like episode 9 will definately expand on Christophers role and it will all make sense. For some reason, Im not convinced Tilly is dead. I feel like Tilly was somehow protecting them in some weird way, knowingly or unknowingly. I also feel like the Man in yellow is the person behind all of this and the creature, the woman with the swing coat (as she is described) she plays a much bigger role that's lead on. I started to rewatch the show and she only is seen in a few scenes throughout the season and seems more alive then the others. She was also the only creature I think that was not sleeping when they entered the caves. The others where always sleeping and i believe the boy in white is also connected to the Man in Yellow and the Woman in the swing coat. I believe he was the person they trusted and he betrayed them. I think they were all born in the caves and were maybe trying to escape and he betrayed them. I don't think the boy in white was helping them at all, in fact I think he was just gaining their trust while pushing them along. In regards to Tabithas baby, I don't think she's having any kind of baby at all, I think they all maybe part of a much bigger scheme to maybe bring the Man in Yellow to life and can only wake up from this shared dream once the target is defeated or else it loops again. @andrewrau7516
Look up beotuck tribe and the story about Dr Mabuse and the game played between spirits and entities trapping u in a location and being used as their game pieces. So the location would be the board and the humans and objects being used as a control feature so tht the other player cnt win is based on a girl from the tribe having a child stolen and playing the game to win so many times beating the other entity to gain back her child. The dates from the Tabitha scene are directly tied to games played and time periods games were during between this magician and witch.
The writers have said COUNTLESSS times that they pitched this show WITH its ending when they got greenlit. They have said, that however long it takes to get there is up to the performance of the show with viewers. They could drop the ball with pacing, but I think its ignorant to say that their story has plotless or doesn't make sense. We don't even know ourselves what is going on to make that type of claim.
My new fav From channel! I subscribed earlier this morning at 170 something subs. 2 hrs later u r over 300. My From prediction is this channel is gonna blow up. :-)
Lady! You are always on point. I'm so glad that your family supports you and really convinced you to spread your common sense and your great incite and takes about this show. Kudos again. You ROCK!
Except she’s wrong on a lot of this. The numbers in the bottles are music notes. The ghost lady gives birth to smiley.Tabi is reincarnated Miranda and a bunch more.
Said the same thing. Was wondering since time is clearly being crossed, perhaps Jade does figure out the time loop. Remember he tries to explain it to Boyd. Maybe he dies in that room because he goes into the tree and comes out but at the wrong time. Like before Elgin had the chance to move the armoire and unbarricade the red door. It left Jade trapped possibly.
@@justinpearson3696 good cuz if Jade, Boyd, or Donna bites it, I'm done wit FROM....Jade grew on me due to Kenny's mom and I was beyond pissed wen she died. So...writer's don't play wit me.
I love your breakdowns keep doing the amazing work did you notice that the town only takes good people and tries to corrupt them and I feel the show deals human sacrifice taking the life of one for the greater good all seems like the theme
Ubume dosnt hand you her child until "it becomes so heavy it crushes you" that is NEVER in ANY of the folklore (and I my husband is from a small village there) it simply hands you a bundle that becomes heavier until you see its leaves (mostly) or a small stone and you drop it.
I researched it there’s many different versions I’m sure the version you know is that specific one. This show is clearly taking liberties with existing folklore just like the wendigos.
Severance is my show! Silo and YellowJackets are good too. If you ever do lives, let me know if you need a cohost. I think we’d get along well. I love the way you think!
Tabitha explains it herself, she didn't know the nighmare was connected with the fromland, she didn't see the rocks nor the statues until she saw the pictures Jade made and asked him about the red rocks. "I saw this place too, but I just din't know it." It's an everyday occurence for most people, you just forget things especially from such a long ago as your childhood. Also Tabitha's visions were daydreamings, not actual dreams, so not a lot to go with, the end of ep 6 was her eureka moment, another example is Victor, who's memories are also a blur between dreams and memories, so it's not just her. People associate Tabitha's dream with the little riding red hood story, solely based on her clothes, but there is a bit more obvious one, Cromenockle. Since the first season I thought that Julie was the Cromenockle, she was the one telling the stories to Ethan and interacted with Victor, the hermit, from the very begining, but it was Tabitha who got the map and went on the journey. But yeah, the characters are very slow on the uptake and quite frankly stupid, but you know what.. people are like that, in a room with more than three you'll find Dales, Randalls and Acostas, in fact and a lot moer than Boyds, Donnas and Henrys, you'll also find Jades and Jims and their conflicting ideologies. Henry, low key becoming one of my fav residents, ask questions, listens, spoke for Tabitha with reasonable arguments, his interactions with Jim and Jade.. I like him so far.
same..I was rooting for the show to get more viewership coz I was afraid it would get cancelled if they don't grow...but then they ruin things, so much negativity..critics are good, but not with the way they going at it...
It all comes together on the last episode where Jacks Dad comes to see them off, you know Christian. Jack gets to meet all his friends and they discuss how a bunch of people were on the island but arrived by bus.
I kinda feel like Victor is going to find out he has some blood on his hands. I think he repressed memories of what he did to become a “Victor”. I don’t think he’s as innocent as we’ve thought. At the very least he is friends with the creatures. Ain’t no way he survived that long just because. Those are his people lol
It’s not that he survived the creatures more than I think the boy in white protected him, we also know the cycle slowed down at some point after the massacre until it started back up again with people showing up, so the monsters may have been inactive or less active at some point too. I think them not thinking through how Victor survived alone for 40 years is just a continuity issue they expect more viewers to understand than do.
@@TheFacelessGirlYT How could Victor live through 2 Cycles and never figure out how the Rune Stones keep monsters out? Was Boyd the first person in any cycle to figure out how Rune Stones Work? The Rune symbols are Viking symbols and their Age of the VIkings ended in 1066 yet the earliest date on Fromville was Victors map which was dated 1174. Perhaps when the Vikings all died out they moved into Fromville which would explain quite a bit. Vikings were mostly illiterate other than their Rune Symbols. Runes were used for writing, fortune telling, casting spells, and protection. They were also used to commemorate leaders and their achievements, and to preserve thoughts. The dude that Jade watched drink blood from the Skull sure as hell looked like a Viking to me as well. What we are experiancing is basically Viking Heaven or Valhalla. If it's not Valhalla it's the place that Vikings that don't go he heaven go.
@ I think he was the first person in a long time to even go out into the forest at all next to Miranda. But that’s also still a great point if Miranda saw the town how did she not know about the talismans 😂😂 she actually drew them too if I’m not mistaken. So another HUGE continuity issue. However although I know runes are across many European cultures, and talismans in general are among many ancient cultures, I believe the ones in FROM are actually directly referencing Native American talismans and symbols, that look extremely similar, specifically those of the Anasazi tribe, the tribe known for the 4 corners of America as well, the diamond symbol, rock formations and piles, stone huts like where the talismans were found, dream catchers, and LASTLY the culture partially responsible for the Wendigo mythology in America. All things present in the show.
I still think the theory of it starting with John Cabot’s lost expedition of 1506. He supposedly landed on Newfoundland which was occupied by the Beothuk tribe aka the red people, they would paint themselves red. There’s a place they occupied now known as Boyd’s Cove. Cabot’s ship name was the Matthew, Jim and Tabitha Matthews. There was another expedition that went missing, there were 2 boats(2 cars). Anyway, legend says they kidnapped a Beothuk woman that was pregnant, they kept the child but left her in a cave after she was acccused of being a witch. She made a deal with spirits to get her out of the cave and get her son back. The entity was said to have liked to play games, I think it challenged her to a game, the people of the expedition became the first players and are continuously brought back over and over until she wins. I think it’s based on chess, there’s a ton of references in season 1, everyone is always wearing or around blue and yellow representing light and dark. Kenny’s dad said chess is a universal game, language, he said people may forget how the pieces work but they always remember the game. He screamed I want my son, which is a nod to the witch. I think the witch is brought back until she wins, she was human so she had to have died. I think different entities from different folklore are brought in as pawns. I think the monsters are fae. There’s sooooo much more, I can’t kram it all in. Oh also, one of the spirits they’d acknowledge is the one of the sea, it’s a big red jellyfish, they’re common by Newfoundland. Also the writer of the show said he had the idea right after 9/11, during the attacks when the airways and airports were shut down, he was stuck in Newfoundland….
At 2:02 any one else notice the sewer cover behind elgin? I wonder if they forgot to edit that out or if theres a sewer system they have yet to explore.
Miranda told Henry that there were many before her that had dreams, which meant it was more than just her and Tabitha. This isn't really a plot whole or continuity error in my opinion. I don't think we need to have seen everyone else who has dreams/nightmares. Fatima goes over how there were others. These people died before ever getting as close to the clues as Tabitha.
It’s not a community error it’s a dialogue issue. Tabitha and Jade literally said in this episode it was just Miranda until they figured out it was also Tabitha. So you’re pointing out another point that proves continuity issues
You are right about the kimono lady wanting the baby for the folklore, but you are actually missing one tiny piece of it. In some versions she is seen to be holding a swaddled baby & asks passerby’s to hold the baby when they do it turns out to be a ROCK which gets heavier & heavier which eventually crushes them! I think that dead body in the room is the guy Jade saw crushed by the boulder originally in the cellar. Who is that guy? Your guess is as good as mine, but it has foreshadowed this to happen since Jade originally went into the cellar, so our boy Elgin might have some bad karma coming his way soon! 😅
One thing that would make me appreciate the slow pace of the show is if they mention a mind fog that making information harder to convey. It seems like an element that should have been introduced from the get go and it would make sense because that world is very mystical. Like sometimes it be cool if they conveyed it though a headache or in passing moments that not stated to an overbearing level but leaves a mental note at the back of your mind.
really good video, this show is really hard to theorize for because we have so little information! it's a bit frustrating, hopefully we will have more answers by the end of this season
@TheFacelessGirlYT oh by the way, I might be completely wrong but I think of Fátima gives birth, It might be the kid in white. Who knows since we know so little it might be posible
I know it's frustrating to be this slow but at the same time it's creating in the audience the same feelings that you would feel if you were in the situation so the experience is not only to get the answers, if you were inside from then you wouldn't get the answers right away that's part of the immersive experience of the show. Not just what you see but to evoke the same feelings as if you were there
I think for the most part it’s important but not as important as people are making it. She was just keeping track of time to know the date which is where she figured out it was 1978. She probably nailed down the date her cycle was supposed to end to the day/night leading to what happened when the massacre occurred
I disagree that it’s the audience. The reason I say is because essentially this show is the artist’s vision or a culmination of multiple artist visions and if they change their art piece based on how it’s being received in real time that’s the artist fault. This is show has been hot because it’s developed in way to invite discourse and speculation. Just my opinion. Enjoyed your video.
I don’t think the monsters in the forest started attacking people until Victors time. Like once Christopher started talking to Jasper, soon after everyone died. So before that..were they not having to hide at night?
No he basically said they were hiding every night. Having fun in the houses during the day probably for a while. I’m also going to breakdown more about Victor and his family but there’s canon proof they were in the town for 2 years before the massacre in 1978
I think Fatima is going to give birth to one of the "monsters". We haven't seen how they are created yet like how vampires bite a human or werewolves do the same thing, but with the monsters in this show their creation has yet to be shown, but I think we're about to see how it happens finally. I think the channel owner is on to something when it comes to mythology and the "Fae" or fairies. The show does a great job of blending supernatural elements with psychological drama, and this angle fits perfectly. One theory that's been bouncing around in my head is that the town was created from a failed ritual by the adult/parents that lived there long ago and who built the town that wanted to live forever, possibly making a deal with Fae-like entities. This aligns with Fae mythology, where such deals often come with dire consequences, trapping the adults in a cycle of living out their children's nightmares (I believe the symbol we keep seeing that Jade is drawing is representative of the Fae realm or a boundary that separates the human world from the supernatural. Such symbols might be used in rituals or as protective wards. In the context of the show, this circular image could represent a portal or a focal point of the ritual that the townspeople attempted, linking the real world with the Fae-like entities they sought to bargain with. It might also serve as a reminder or a key to understanding the true nature of the town and its connection to these mythological forces / creatures / monsters.). The kids might have become trapped or served as sacrifices for the entities in the town, which mirrors how the Fae blur reality and dreams. This would also explain why or how they became trapped, and why they keep calling to certain "special" individuals for help to "free" them. The monsters could be manifestations of the town's dark history or the collective fears of its people, possibly linked to the failed ritual (This goes along with the theme of nightmares becoming reality that many have speculated. We have all wondered if it's everyone's nightmares, the children's nightmares, or perhaps it was the nightmares of those who came before, or all of the above?). They might represent the darker aspects of the townspeople's psyches, much like how the Fae reflect human emotions and desires. Now back to what I was saying about Fatima. I'm guessing that Fatima might actually be giving birth to one of these monsters, suggesting they are created through human birth or hosting (we have yet to see how these monsters are created so my best guess is this is how it happens, and I believe Elgin is going to facilitate this birth unfortunately and unbeknownst to him). This would both serve as a creation of the next generation of monsters, or a cycle continuing of the same monsters and it will serve to torture the inhabitants further by being reminded once again that not only are they trapped in this insane cycle, but they are in-fact creating it too which will further break them mentally). This twist could reveal a horrifying cycle where the town's inhabitants unknowingly contribute to the creation of the very creatures that haunt them. Overall, the show's themes resemble mythological concepts like purgatory, fitting well with Fae mythology. The town might be a modern retelling of ancient myths about spiritual journeys, where characters confront their pasts and fears. It's also reminiscent of Dante's decent into hell which I would say is Boyd's role. It's going to be fascinating to see how these theories play out as we approach the end of season 3, but I just hope we finally get a few more answers than we are left with burning questions as it will just make for an even longer wait for upcoming seasons.
One additional note. I think these "monsters" where the only living thing in them seems to be bile are the fae, and they have demonstrated that the do in fact make "deals" this season. They made a deal with Boyd "Save the ones in the ambulance, and leave us Randall or save him, and leave us Tabitha and the EMT/Police Woman". This further supports them being fae, and their propensity to make bargains that are "zero sum" for the person making a choice. No matter what you chose you are damned in essence with these creatures, and that is by their design. Also The discovery of bile as the only organic substance inside the dead monsters might hint at a connection to Fae mythology. Bile, often linked to bitterness and toxicity, could symbolize the monsters' corrupt and deceptive nature, akin to the trickster aspect of the Fae. This suggests the monsters might not be natural beings but rather magical constructs or illusions created by Fae-like entities, embodying the town's dark history or the consequences of a failed ritual.
Hmmm, the stripped shirt Jade is seen wearing at 4:05 in this video looks very similar to the stripped shirt on the body in the hidden room that Elgin finds.
The further connection you need to make is that Fatima is a motif for Virgo, the miraculous birth is a motif for the sun leaving Virgo. The show is an allegory for the ecliptic path.
I definitely had that theory written down I just would love a more direct allusion to it in the actual show before I go crazy with more theories lmao I try to only bring up theories that have multiple points of proof and right now Fatima immaculate conception is not tied to her name and the pregnancy itself.
Everybody seems to forget that during season two we had Covid to deal with and so there were several limitations as to how the series could develop during that time I think that affected the pacing of season two a lot season three has been off the chain excellent’
Right?! I've been saying Ubume for months! I've also been saying Wendigo for months. Now, start studying Golems and Jinns. 😉 And the missing settlement of Jonestown.
Awesome video. I had figured out the nightmare part, the show is heavy handed with those clues but I didn’t know about Fatima and the baby. I thought she was going to be a monster. You really did your research. I’m very impressed. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with. Thanks for sharing.
Does anyone else think they are constantly changing out the extra town members because every episode we see random extras and I swear every episode there's different people in the background. Like if that is the case is it intentional or do they think no one would notice?
I can solve the puzzle. Today I watched 200 fan theories videos...I know where they are. I know what it is based on. No one else has put it together but I think my theory is 100% correct.
The one-eyed man, and the importance of trees makes me think there is Norse theming at play. I think the people getting heavily involved with the town (Tabitha and Jade mainly) are like the Norse gods, where they get involved no matter what. They are constants. Say they die, in another life they will be in another cycle, and they will start remembering their past incarnations.
oh! And I think Anyone else, like Jim, the kids... I dont think they "Matter" to the town, so the town pulled in Tabitha, the rest of the family just happened to be in the car.
*New Subbie here* Also in the show Once Upon a Time. In the story of Peter Pan he created that island through his imagination. And those boys/men who came to that island had some connection in their dreams to it. I thought of this while listening to your insight.
I think Fatima is turning into a monster. You showed the lady monster who infiltrated colony house staring in a mirror, the same mirror Fatima uses. She also said, "i didn't choose to be this way," and when Fatimas' stomach changed, it looked a lot like smilies stomach during the autopsy
I definitely think that all hints to the monsters being created, just not sure if it’s through the process we are seeing Fatima go through. But I have seen that mirror scene be used before in other videos.
Yooooo, how you gonna say the dead person in the sellers shirt 👕 is significant. Then, to have a picture of Jade a min later, and he is wearing the same shirt. 🤔 😮
The dialogue that’s playing as I’m saying in the video. Season 2 the scene with Fatima and Elgin. Elgin is discussing how he had a dream of from before he got here. Fatima says this actually happens a lot, and that everyone has talked about these things, some more than others, and only some people realized these visions were of from. Abby also confirms this by saying a dream she had when she was young. Debunking the theory that Miranda and Tabitha are the only ones.
@ That isn't really confirmation that everyone had the dreams. She didn't talk to everyone about it because up to that point Tabitha would've said she didn't have any dream tied to the town. Jim was skeptical so he obviously didn't have any dream. I think you may have taken what Fatima said out of context. It's like if I say everyone was mad when Trump won the election. I don't literally mean everyone. Just a figure of speech.
@ it’s called logical deduction at that point. But it’s confirmed Miranda and Tabitha are not the only ones. Which still means it’s a continuity issue.
I believe that this may be the line between heaven and hell. I understand everyone's belief this is some mythology or fokelore but I also believe all those stories are a form of telling the stories of heaven he'll and pergatory. This is jus my theory but it has alot of points to it being a spiritual choice or journey and all of the people all have a story tht says they may have died or be in between. Jus my thoughts. Ty for this channel. I respect the views of other viewers but this was always my understanding of the show I have been influenced in other directions but still I came back to this. Again ty I love seeing all the theories. Love the show
There is a massive amount of use of the color yellow in the show. Even yellow filters when filming so heres what i think: Hastur is also known as the king in yellow. He resides in Carcosa or the "dreamlands". He's also referred to as the "sleeper beneath the lake" So I wonder if thats what elgins draw to the water is at the Brundels. Or if brundels connects to a larger body of water. Theres been so many different iterations of him that it's hard to say which parts may be used but one quote states "Hastur will alter reality and merge parts of Earth into Carcosa, usually bringing along unwilling people as well" The monsters maybe based on Ghasts from Lovecraftian lore: "Ghasts are a species of humanoid creatures that inhabit the Underworld" The spiders may be based on Atlach Nacha who "spins a great web, forming a great bridge between the Dreamlands and the waking world." Nodens is a Celtic deity (also is used in Lovecraftian lore) associated with healing, the sea, hunting and dogs. He also is commonly depicted with ravens (in episode one tabitha tells ethan that the birds may not be crows, but ravens). Nodens is stated to fight and hunt the evil forces of the dreamlands. So I do feel there is alot of Lovecraftian lore going on. However we also see some Japanese folklore and celtic folklore.
Jade is not just seeing the past. He's seeing his future as well. We just have to pick apart which visions are which. Jade dies in the past and his body was found in the cellar in the present time period.
It was never confirmed that everyone has visions, in fact we know for a fact that the opposite is true. Fatima to Elgin (203): "People have all sorts of reactions to this place. Dreams, nightmares, wierd premonitions. But we don't know why or what it means. WHY IT HAPPENS TO SOME PEOPLE AND NOT TO OTHERS." Very curious about that Nadia, though, and her theory of whispers. As little as we heard about her, she remainds me of Nathan. Also, btw, another hint about "the board" being intelligent, one way or the other. Chris saw the symbol after while, accoring to Victor, we saw Jade see it right after his arrival. It's clrealy not the same for everybody. And yes, there are many curved balls to thorw us off, I think Tom died cause we suspected him of something, so they simply showed us the finger, same thing with Lilly.. but their deaths did not let them of my hook. ;) "Innocence proves nothing!"
I still feel like it is a tarot game played with characters that we have not met yet from the 1500’s until now. That could be why it made Fatima off Tillie. Tillie knows about tarot cards.
There are two Kimono ladies... unless this one changes clothes.... One has a yellow Kimono that they had standing over Elgin when he almost drowned and then we have the one who is communicating with him to possibly help Fatima. Not sure if we've seen a 3rd or not. I will have to look back at episodes where we see them.
Definitely an interesting catch. I think it just was changed but could still be correct. But that thing is definitely not trying to help Fatima. That’s why tillie said to run.
From is hard to follow because of the storylines that go nowhere example when they first went in the wood and jade took the rod from the statue and dale said maybe we shouldn’t do that and during the night they have something outside and nothing another one when Boyd said they were going to trap one and nothing another one Kenny going to the tunnels with lighter fluid and nothing it’s a lot of nothing because people swore Kenny would be on demon time and he kinda became a side character again now
Exactly they are holding on to this monster in the village for the finale most likely, or even next season, which is a mistake. You’re right they just keep throwing in story lines and don’t have the airtime to revisit them
You hit the nail on the head. I was posting to MGM on X and told them that they have so many storylines that they can't even get to ONE reveal or origin. They are all about nothing. I'm about to be done with them. I mean, I don't want everything disclosed at once but geezzz

I don't see how that can be true when the episodes were filmed and edited before people were complaining about this season.
Besides they also said this show is not like lost. Lost was in fact being written as it reacted to its fan base. The show runners have stated that this show has an ending and that there already is a conclusion to it all.
Who cares whether you agree or not, what are your reasons, because there are many to the contrary and you provided zero. ;)
Creators said that they have the beggining and and the end already, but the middle stories may change, so we do know that things change.
@@Vejita12 what a rant 😂
@@anneefreres3299 Not at all, just a few simple facts.
..still zero. ;)
lol sorry but when she started saying the viewers ruined the show, definitely lost me.
I’m surprised that everybody misses this, but it’s obvious that the entity can control electronics , so the ultra sound produced a false negative
Dr Mabusa and the three witches from Suspiria. Mabusa was literally written on the head rest in the ambulance Victor's dad is resting on. The witches had a coven that was hidden under the disguised of a ballet studio. We see ballerinas all through the show.
I saw that TH-camrs theory and loved it. Don’t wanna run with other people’s theories too much tho.
Hold on, are you trying to theorize that the show has some kind of direct connection to the movie Suspiria?
So could Tillie be a Witch
@andrewrau7516
The way the show is moving without answers. I think season 3 was meant to piss us off. So we all break like boyd and get mad lol
Good point
You do understand that the moment they answer your questions it's done, right?
@ duh, I’m suggesting the writers intentionally made the season like this so we can feel like the people in the town that don’t have answers
GUURRRL i just subscribed. Your research and theories are way better from the other channels ive watched. Slay queen
Yay! Thank you!
Dr mabuse
It reminds me A LOT of "Lost" where there ends up being a lot of unresolved teasers.
Holy cow your theory of Ubume might be it!!!! Brilliant!!
I wonder if characters being "slow" is a byproduct of fear and insanity consuming the characters
Possible for sure but I think then we are giving the writer too much credit
The writers have said COUNTLESSS times that they pitched this show WITH its ending when they got greenlit. They have said, that however long it takes to get there is up to the performance of the show with viewers. They could drop the ball with pacing, but I think its ignorant to say that their story has plotless or doesn't make sense. We don't even know ourselves what is going on to make that type of claim.
I showed you the plot hole. Just because it’s done doesn’t mean it doesn’t have plot holes.

The clothes on the corpse look like what jade showed up in… and his hair
I was looking for this comment. Jade had on that same striped shirt . I noticed that right away
It’s not the same shirt as jade. Diff pattern

This is a great video, big props! I was like talking out loud to my TV like YES THATS WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYIN way more than once hahhaa yes

Earned a sub. Great video.
U just earned another follower.
Tabitha explains it herself, she didn't know the nighmare was connected with the fromland, she didn't see the rocks nor the statues until she saw the pictures Jade made and asked him about the red rocks.
"I saw this place too, but I just din't know it."
It's an everyday occurence for most people, you just forget things especially from such a long ago as your childhood.
Thank you for breaking that down so flawlessly!!
I mean after Dale, you would think there would be town meetings to discuss what everyone is experiencing
I agree! The increased viewership has ruined this show. It was so much better without all the noise in social media.
Omg.. i was secretly thinking this, its not nice but sometimes i want to drop a 'mephisto' in the comments
same..I was rooting for the show to get more viewership coz I was afraid it would get cancelled if they don't grow...but then they ruin things, so much negativity..critics are good, but not with the way they going at it...
Increased viewership means the show won't go get cancelled 😂 these are the same people that created Lost.
Yeah, I agree with the OP
It all comes together on the last episode where Jacks Dad comes to see them off, you know Christian. Jack gets to meet all his friends and they discuss how a bunch of people were on the island but arrived by bus.
Thank you love your channel
The body found in the cellar almost looked like he had 1 eye. Shirt similar to one Jade wears
I like your theory but it completely ignores against what the writer, producers and director say it is adamantly not - a dream. (Because of Lost.) 😂
A dream is not a dreamscape.
You just earned a sub from me. Everything you said made sense and seems very spot on
Wow girl. This is a great breakdown!
very informative thank you really good research
Victor probably killed everyone and was controlled by Christopher puppet😊@@TheFacelessGirlYT
Victor shot the place up in the past...
Severance was sooooo good!!! Need the next season to drop
January 😭 seem so far away
At 2:02 any one else notice the sewer cover behind elgin? I wonder if they forgot to edit that out or if theres a sewer system they have yet to explore.
I think it was just an editing issue
Possibly not an editing issue since we saw Fatima found another latch going deeper from the cellar.
@@Heychampion yeah I wondered that last night when I saw that
Miranda told Henry that there were many before her that had dreams, which meant it was more than just her and Tabitha.
Pretty sure Abby mentioned she had a dream of the place too.
Severance is one my fav show would love hear your breakdown on that one
I love that show too will definitely consider beginning with the new season
This is great i really like this theory 🦋🦋🦋🦋
I love your analysis.
YO CAN YOU BELIEVE I WANTED ONE OF THESE THINGS AS A CHILD UNTIL I SEEN GOOSEBUMPS!?! 17:17
It's funny because in season 2 Victor said he did not trust Elgin
Very intelligent analysis
Your take on the officer is the same one I had on Jade when he arrived lol. So this should be very interesting.
@@CozyMutha exactly. And I doubt they have two characters do the exact same thing and become “better”

I hope so too!

Episode 8 trailer breakdown going up tonight
The new cop character seems modelled after Ana Lucia from LOST
Exactly
I know it's frustrating to be this slow but at the same time it's creating in the audience the same feelings that you would feel if you were in the situation so the experience is not only to get the answers, if you were inside from then you wouldn't get the answers right away that's part of the immersive experience of the show. Not just what you see but to evoke the same feelings as if you were there
I wish jade would see the map Miranda drew detailing the phases of the moon and everything. I think that’s a big part of the puzzle.
Nailed it!
I don’t think the monsters in the forest started attacking people until Victors time. Like once Christopher started talking to Jasper, soon after everyone died. So before that..were they not having to hide at night?
No he basically said they were hiding every night. Having fun in the houses during the day probably for a while. I’m also going to breakdown more about Victor and his family but there’s canon proof they were in the town for 2 years before the massacre in 1978
Omg I thought tillie would become part of the forest, hopefully she can be a positive spirit and help
I totally agree, this is fair folk across different cultures. We all had them by different names
Hmmm, the stripped shirt Jade is seen wearing at 4:05 in this video looks very similar to the stripped shirt on the body in the hidden room that Elgin finds.
Nice put together
I agree with the 1609/1864 thing but Tabitha told Jade that couldn’t be basically because one slip of paper was random like “2247” type shit or wtv.
And that door on the floor in the room with Fatima is where Martin is at now
I also thought the pilgrim kid wasn't tabitha but a chosen one predecessor.
And the missing settlement of Jonestown.
Definitely thank you!
They are and are definitely doing it for most of the back ground characters and even the monsters.
I think the buzz and the viewer theories is what they were going after from day one. I'm sure a lot of shows are envious of the from community.
I can solve the puzzle. Today I watched 200 fan theories videos...I know where they are. I know what it is based on. No one else has put it together but I think my theory is 100% correct.
Wait who else dreamed about being here in season 2?
The one-eyed man, and the importance of trees makes me think there is Norse theming at play. I think the people getting heavily involved with the town (Tabitha and Jade mainly) are like the Norse gods, where they get involved no matter what. They are constants. Say they die, in another life they will be in another cycle, and they will start remembering their past incarnations.
oh! And I think Anyone else, like Jim, the kids... I dont think they "Matter" to the town, so the town pulled in Tabitha, the rest of the family just happened to be in the car.
That dead person looks like Jade. He's wearing that shirt you showed in the image.
I there are no bibles in the town because the priest said there weren’t
Love your theories, Fatima is definitely pregnant.
*New Subbie here* Also in the show Once Upon a Time. In the story of Peter Pan he created that island through his imagination. And those boys/men who came to that island had some connection in their dreams to it. I thought of this while listening to your insight.
Best theories so far
That person laying on that floor is Martin
Lol I can't believe we're giving Jasper a character name...
Oh also I feel like in one episode Father K did say the only book there was that Bible. Also very interesting
He said the Bible was the only book NOT there.
He only had the one he bought with him.
Yooooo, how you gonna say the dead person in the sellers shirt 👕 is significant. Then, to have a picture of Jade a min later, and he is wearing the same shirt. 🤔 😮
Lmao I didn’t even catch that tbh but I don’t think it’s the exact same shirt
When was it confirmed that EVERY character had visions of the town before they got there?
I think Fatima has harmed that ghost before she got in her car alone and drove off and ended up in the From town.
get us more of these juicy vids Faceless girl, you're the best out there w/ question!
Only 4 mins in and you’ve connected so many dots I yelled out in the middle of work 😂
I believe that this may be the line between heaven and hell. Love the show
But they’re not dead
There is a massive amount of use of the color yellow in the show. Even yellow filters when filming so heres what i think:
Hastur is also known as the king in yellow. He resides in Carcosa or the "dreamlands".
He's also referred to as the "sleeper beneath the lake"
So I wonder if thats what elgins draw to the water is at the Brundels. Or if brundels connects to a larger body of water.
Theres been so many different iterations of him that it's hard to say which parts may be used but one quote states "Hastur will alter reality and merge parts of Earth into Carcosa, usually bringing along unwilling people as well"
The monsters maybe based on Ghasts from Lovecraftian lore: "Ghasts are a species of humanoid creatures that inhabit the Underworld"
The spiders may be based on Atlach Nacha who "spins a great web, forming a great bridge between the Dreamlands and the waking world."
Nodens is a Celtic deity (also is used in Lovecraftian lore) associated with healing, the sea, hunting and dogs.
15:48 mark in this video. Jade wearing the same shirt on the corpse in the cellar lol. Thank you for showing that pic of him
I knew I remembered him in that shirt early season 1.
Hiding in plain sight.
Jade is not just seeing the past. He's seeing his future as well.
We just have to pick apart which visions are which.
Jade dies in the past and his body was found in the cellar in the present time period.
Mini-series. The Haunting of Hill House.
The one sister's ghost was herself, from her future death, haunting her past.
Also this game is about the players(entities) control of inanimate objects
It was never confirmed that everyone has visions, in fact we know for a fact that the opposite is true.
Fatima to Elgin (203): "People have all sorts of reactions to this place. Dreams, nightmares, wierd premonitions. But we don't know why or what it means. WHY IT HAPPENS TO SOME PEOPLE AND NOT TO OTHERS."
Very curious about that Nadia, though, and her theory of whispers. As little as we heard about her, she remainds me of Nathan.
Also, btw, another hint about "the board" being intelligent, one way or the other.
Chris saw the symbol after while, accoring to Victor, we saw Jade see it right after his arrival. It's clrealy not the same for everybody.
And yes, there are many curved balls to thorw us off, I think Tom died cause we suspected him of something, so they simply showed us the finger, same thing with Lilly.. but their deaths did not let them of my hook. ;)
"Innocence proves nothing!"
Ooooo cool theory!
