I like how Sara didn't hide that she was hearing voices again. She didn't care if people'd take it the wrong way and think she was going crazy again or gonna murder people again, she just straight up admitted it in a way that was useful, showing how she genuinely cares for the wellbeing of others more than herself.
I think its because the main cast has mostly come to accept the "spooky stuff" as an inherent part of the story. They aren't being illogical, they are just abiding fairyland logic.
Amen on the spoilers thing and thank you for being real and calling them out/blocking them. I can‘t stand spoilers especially in a show like this - the best part is figuring stuff out as you go and hypothesizing about the rest with others! As always, you’re the man E-man. A man protects his Fromily!
Btw i also give this episode an 8.5 out of 10 for the same reasons. I feel like more insignificant scenes have been used as filler for this season than in the past, like answers we already heard being re-explained to new residents or explaining why they don’t have time to explain them etc, Every time one of those scenes pops up I can tell it’s 99% filler and I have no interest in it. Love this show tho everything else is amazing.
@@Ninjassassin I agree, I'll just say be careful what you think is filler. I have seen past episodes where they very carefully foreshadow what's coming next. When originally I thought this character or scene had no bearing. Like when Sarah is putting her ornament back together in this episode represents the various people trying to salvage the hope they have left. It's a brilliant piece that truly seems meaningfulness unless you have that prior context.
@@JayeKelz I thought this too. That look in Ellis's eyes said he picked up on a vibe! I think Elgin is definitely getting pressed next episode, if he doesn't end up telling on himself first! I'm extremely disappointed with Elgin. Elgin deserves whatever is coming to him! If Elgin really believed the Kimono lady was trying to be helpful, wouldn't she lead them to the way out, instead of convincing him to imprison Fatima? Elgin is proving to be pretty dense and easily manipulated!
I felt so too.. if Ellishad given away that he was picking up on Elgin, Elgin may have attacked him. Better to play it off for now until he can surely get the upper hand
I used to work at a Hospital and I've donated blood before and there is no way that Elgin would be that strong and able to stand up after draining that much blood out of his body!!!!
Im 99% sure Julie lied because Jim was there and she doesnt feel like she can open up to someone who has repeatedly acted like her mom's experiences were in her head. She did open up to her mom when they were alone.
We have actually had this come up a few times It's indicated that the monsters DON'T run, not that they can't. We've HAVE seen the monsters move quickly once in monster form. Opening scene with granny in the pilot. A few other times. This is a rule we have to establish. "DONT DOES NOT EQUAL CAN'T"
I seem to remember some dialogue about when a resident (Boyd or Donna or Kenny?) noticed when they began to just walk - so at one point they were running. Tho do tell me if I'm misremembering. Need to do a re-watch
I think it was meant for the viewers who questioned why didn't the BiW tell the story to the current residents or better yet Victor (BiW prolly knew Victor would forget) 😂
I was afraid that Elgin was gonna try to drown Ellis. Also left wondering, is this how they are tying in the "water" part of elgins dream upon arriving.
So the Boy in White and Victor ... The Boy in White was CLEARLY terrified when pointing out to Victor that EVERYTHING was changing. I believe when he helped Christopher before, the evil entity made everyone pay. I think that's why the massacre occurred that only Victor survived in the first place. The boy in white can't help like that because the town itself will do it again or something worse ...
I like that theory! Did they ever say how Christoper died? I wonder if like Miranda he tried to go to the tree after Victor left and was killed too. I remember Victor thought Christopher massacred the whole town, but how?
sounds good but they are screwed anyway , why not at least try , so a slow painful death by lingering around in from is better than going for broke and trying to get out
i actually took it as misleading and secretly being evil why is it so hard to tell victor how to leave unless the boy in white is just hope farming remember “everything lies here”
it's hard to believe if the boy in white is helping them or not , not after throwing tabi into real world only to drag her later , so it's either they make tabi have sense of hope only to ruin it because it's all game for them or he just can't help them directly because to scare to angry the big guy ( the one from the tower I mean cause we still don't know them ). if he indeed try to help maybe he's character is like tht little girl ghost in film ghost ship.
I bust out laughing when I heard that grown Man in White speak with that deep voice. They had to work that kid's growth spurt into the show as a supposed "change." That's some really good, swift thinking on the part of the writers, I love it! It reminded me of when Gloria Foster died, and her friend, Mary Alice, replaced her as The Oracle in The Matrix Revolutions, and the perfect answer was given to why she looked different. They perfectly explained the Boy's growth spurt tonight.
I think it tracks though. I like how they went right into it. No brilliant under tone, just very direct in speaking to us the audience. Very unconventional
If they are going to insist on doing 10 episodes per year, they are going to have this problem. Game Of Thrones has to recast people multiple times for multiple reasons related to the 10 episode season.
When Miranda left the root cellar, it kinda looked bright out to me. Maybe Miranda was trying to escape to the tree during a special window of time, when day turns to night. Wasn't it also kinda dusky when Victor took Tabitha to the tree, which ultimately led her to the lighthouse? I'm thinking going into the faraway tree at night is a key to leaving this place. When Dale went into the tree during daylight, he ended up in the pool wall!
Going through the tree at a different time takes you to a different place since the trees move. Combined with a specific window of time, it's very likely that the reason why Smiley RAN towards her when they normally don't is because she was TOO close to actually saving the children.
The right timing and right person. This explains why Christopher was upset with the BIW, he probably refuses bc he knew the monsters come out at night and in his eyes, he didn't want to take that chance of possibly sacrificing himself. Also, we know that the children were born and died "in the dark" which leads me further to believe any hopes of getting to the lighthouse means they have to attempt going through the tree at night. Most likely they will need a distraction or some type of plan to avoid getting chased down and hunted like Miranda did. Maybe this is also why Tabitha gasped "that's impossible" because she discovered it means they will have to be brave abd do this at night. The children are still trying to guide her, even if she isn't the chosen one at this time. Maybe this is also the significance of the tunnels? If they can utilize the tunnels to get near the tree, they won't have to do as much searching in the night time and have a greater chance of getting into the tree without getting hunted down as long as they are quiet?
I’m almost positive that they’re saying that Tabitha is Miranda reincarnated. This was SO much more than just a vision. When she, Jade, Randal etc have visions, they calm down as soon as it’s over. Her reaction was so visceral & extreme, she didn’t even want Julie to touch her afterwards. Also, I think that’s why she had a Deja Vu feeling when she touched Victor in the church. I think her dreams as a child were actually memories of her past life.
I don't get how people got "Miranda reincarnated" rather than "Eloise, who had repressed memories of Fromville". She had recurring dreams of being a child in Fromville. She's Eloise.
Well certain people have connections with people who lived in fromville from before so it’s possible they are reincarnated and even in death they don’t leave😮
I'm really getting tired of Ellis being so clueless. That convo with Elgin and how did he NOT pick up anything. Elgin was pretty much telling Ellis without telling Ellis that he ge has something to do with the whatabouts of Fatima 😡
Elgin has the perfect look though. He looks and speaks softly and he just seems innocent, even knowing what he did I fully believe he means well. It would be hard for me to think this kid did anything. He's such a good casting choice
I’m shocked how you keep up such quality and quantity at the same time balancing breakdowns and interviews. Really great videos I’m sure I’ll enjoy this one.
thank you for talking about the leaks!! personally i read them because the curiosity got the best of me but genuinely people who are actively spoiling it for other people in comments is just so wrong.
Boyd wanted to capture one of the monster then completely forgot about it. I know a lot of things are happening around him but that would have been an interesting storyline
Yeah, they made a big deal of Randall taking notes of their routine, so they could set up a trap. They do have a bearclaw as well. Combine all that and you can trap one. But the show just forgot all that.
Anyone notice Jade mention his dad wasn’t there when he was a kid? Could it be that they think his dad ran away, but he actually went missing and got stuck in Fromville? Maybe his dad is Christopher or even Martin…just a theory
I noticed that too!!! Had me geeking 😂😭 cause if I was Boyd and saw that I would taunt tf outta them monsters 😂😭 opening and closing the blind all night staring at them like they mad daddy 😂😂😂🤌🏽
Thank you for standing on business about leaks dude!! I've been so sad and down this whole week because I stopped watching theory videos and livestreams....people were ruining it! Posting superchats on lives with leaks like it's a theory they came up with! Just scandalous IMO! I always come here first after I watch the show and I'm glad I do❤
Ok, but that creepy nurse monster miming the *pew pew* to her head - i lol bc it looked so sarcastic. Looks like the writers and actors had fun with this episode
I love when the monsters are allowed to ham it up a bit. Smilie playing with the bus, the grandmother, and of course the cowboy. Best parts of the show.
Jade is very attractive! 😅 I really enjoyed this episode, a lot better. There are several things that I still have questions about, which I hope we find out by the end of season 3. 1. Who in the world is behind the voice of faux Thomas and that guy on the radio at the end of season 1? 2. Why did it have to be Christopher that had to go through the faraway tree last time? 3. Is that the same BIW from the previous seasons? His voice dropped several octaves, holy shit. 💀 He seems so creepy now with his presence and how he talked to Victor. 4. Victor standing in the corner, in the dark, in the cellar was so creepy. 5. Screw Elgin!
I winced at this "DonT tOuCh mE"! They are already tough-skinned after having gone through a veritable nightmare. Saying DONT TOUCH ME is so snow flaky
When this show is done or a point where it wouldn't be spolier for them to do so, i would love for the producers to release an official map of fromville. It would be nice to see how far they walk and where everything is located. I say this because i think the cellar where Fatima is, close to colony house.
Exactly. I have this same conversation with a guy on here a few weeks ago. He kept saying the monsters can't run and I made the point, just because we haven't seen them run doesn't mean they can't.
Props to you E-man for getting this put together and out so quickly. I ran here to see what your assessments you had. Thank you so much for being here for us.
Brother, it was a chilling episode 9 for me. I don't understand the hate by the other fans, nor do I intend to spend too much attention to it. I am so excited for episode 10! Until then, I hope for a 4th season! This show really got me so invested with the story and cast/characters.
Thank you for starting the video by saying this I came across it on TikTok and watched the first 10 seconds before realizing it wasn’t a theory video. I was pissed I unfollowed the creator. Thank you for respecting us who actually wants to watch & see what happens.
I appreciate you! I saw other youtubers put spoilers in the videos and pretending it's their theory and it's beyond repulsive. Thank you for staying cool!
First of all, I really appreciate the fact that you are keeping your channel leak free! I've been scared of watching review videos and looking at comments because of the leaks. Now, a thought I had while watching the episode followed by your video... This episode seems to be centered around guilt. Here's what we have: 1. Victor feeling guilty about his mother; 2. Sara rebuilding the toy her brother gave her (as if she is honoring him and his memory like that); 3. Jim feeling guilty for not being a fraction of a parent; 4. Tabitha mentioning Thomas' d34th in a way that shows how helpless and guilty she felt when it happened; 5. Fake-Thomas trying to incite guilt on Jim through the radio; 6. Henry feeling guilty for not being able to "fix" Victor; 7. Donna feeling somewhat guilty for considering taking hope away from people by telling the truth about Fatima; 8. Ethan feeling guilty for telling Julie what to do at the ruins; 9. Elgin trying to tell Ellis that Fatima's disappearance can be a good thing (as if he's trying to unburden himself of what he's doing). And what comes after guilt? Sentencing. That leads me to believe that we have not quite yet reached the belly of the beast in terms of storyline. Season 4 is probably going to get even darker and things will only start to get better halfway to the end. And I feel like we are going to lose some major characters on this journey. At the same time, the title of the episode makes me think of the Book of Revelations. We've seen a lot of biblical references throughout the show, but I'm not quite sure yet how this could tie into any theory I have so far. Regarding this season's mysteries, in true From fashion we still have no clue about the totems at the settlement or the noises outside those cabins. Were those red herrings? Or are we going to have some sort of revelation about how they are linked to the place on the next episode? It feels like with each revelation we get, we also get 13 other questions and I'm here for it lol!
We also have Fatima having a baby that's not hers. (A Mary figure) Not sold on Ellis being a joseph, but I guess it could fit. Give me a Christ like figure, I am torn between a few characters, but I'm open to suggestions. I also notice the stages of grief on this show. Each character seems to be oscillating through denial acceptance anger.
@@Laura_Bee. Don't forget the boy in white, he feels guilty when he tried to help Christopher, Christopher ends up going nuts and killing everyone. That's the whole rationale the boy in white uses with Victor, and why he doesn't want to help again.
Everyone keeps coming at Boyd, and Donna went to his side cause he was right. This town wants these people turning on each other, and it's working cause the audience is even doing it.
I loved Boyd's speech at the town meeting. Very motivating and reassuring. And he said he would understand if people chose to not join in the search. Also his forthcoming discussions with Kenny and Ellis. Boyd killed it in this episode. Jim was on point too.💯 💪
Interesting how we finally got to see what happened to Miranda but still no Eloise in sight even though it seemed she was running right behind her. I think they've been hinting she's still somewhere hiding! Also paying close attention to the pairings made for the Fatima search party, I think each pairing had a connection yet to be explored.
My takeaway was that Tabitha is Eloise, not Miranda, and she ran out after her mother and watched her mother get killed, then she went through the tree and had repressed memories.
@@tacrewgirl Idk how anyone gets that she's Miranda... It just makes more sense that we literally saw those scenes from Eloise's perspective, after she left the cellar, and she saw her mom get killed.
Great job as usual E man! Here are some of my thoughts based on what we saw. -The faraway tree is important to go home and when Miranda went to the tree she went at night for a reason(one we don’t know yet) (because why go at night when there’s risk of dying) my guess is the faraway tree sends you to the light tower at night and that’s also why the monsters come out at night only. Could be wrong just a theory. - the boy on white and the angkooey crusty kids are good - kimono lady is evil. BIW says things are changing but doesn’t answer if it’s bad , that mean’s it is bad -finally people are talking more how can you escape a place or figure a puzzle if you don’t have as many pieces as possible. -last thing when Tabitha had those flashbacks of Miranda did she freak out cause she was Miranda or because she was the daughter? That part I still don’t get
@@tacrewgirlalso they didn't have the talismans at the point in time. What's not clear is why were Victor Eloise and his mother at that specific place. Was that where they stayed all the time? Or did something happen that brought them there, they weren't in a safe place so his mom made a break for it, one last hail Mary to keep the kids safe.
@@MF-ty2zn1 yes Tabitha went during the day I was thinking about this too. Which is why the boy in white had to push her out the lighthouse? He said “this is the only way” maybe at night it’s different?
Ok I don't even watch this show, I can't remember how I even heard of it, but here I am looking forward to your videos every week lol. I think I get more value out of your channel than I would out of an mgm+ subscription.
The big joke would be if we find out that Acosta's first name is Abigail. That would keep me laughing until the next season begins. I would have to give Boyd a hug myself. 😂😅😂
I laugh every time you call the anghkooey kids ashy, dusty, and crusty😂 I’ve also watched all your videos on from and love every single one I look forward to watching you after every episode!
I appreciate you calling out the people spoiling the show! Cuz I love watching the show then listening to your show and I really enjoy the theories we all share. I hate that folks be trying to ruin the show for us.
Not reading the comments on this one just in case. Just here to say, Big respect to you E-Man! My girl and I go straight to your channel after every episode. Keep doing what you’re doing!
So many other creators making FROM content but yours is always my favorite! You tell it how it is, and on top of that you’re hilarious! I always look forward to your videos.
The fact that they acknowledged that the boy in white looks older intentionally as part of the plot... Hopefully the whole plot isn't made up as they go along too, but it seems more and more like that might be the case.
If they are going to insist on doing 10 episodes per year, they are going to have this problem. Game Of Thrones has to recast people multiple times for multiple reasons related to the 10 episode season.
If I may defend Elgin, just a tiny bit, I think however this town affects certain people, it’s fair to say the control can be paralyzing to the extent that the affected person(s) simply are responding in ways that’s not rational to even themselves outside of this place. We see this happen with Randall, Sara, and even Fatima; each person is different, but they all seem paralyzed to the effects of “Fromville”.
When you keep mentioning Elgin's lack of personal hygiene, i keep seeing the scene of Fatima trying to claw her way out of the cellar. It must be hinkey stinkey stuck in a cellar with him.
I was watching other from breakdowns and I’m just glad you warn everyone not to spoil the last episode! I like reading other comments from all of us who are watching and someone spoiled something on another channel ! ugh I deff didn’t want that and it ruined part of the shock to next episode. Thanks for reminding people to stop doing that.
I still cant believe this is the episode before the finale, when the first 2 episodes were progressing way better imo, as soon as anything exciting happens it turns out to be a couple seconds max lmao, plus it feels like the writers actually have no idea whats going on too, suddenly Boyd has his parkisons back? When this entire season he barely mentions it and don't get me started with the boy in white. Honestly I loved the show and still do but it has lost its horror element and seems like its a mystery show now. (btw thanks Emmanuel for the constant breakdowns and awesome vids)
@brnt2543 I agree, honestly I'm over it. The horror element is gone. Interesting they bring back Boyd's Parkinsons and Sarah hearing voices at the same time. I will watch the final episode bc I've invested so much time, but this is the first time I'm not really excited about it.
The horror is that they can't do anything to stop it. Truly the scariest thing in life (are you a parent?) *Your children will die here and that There's nothing you can do to protect them* Might be the scariest thing to any parent
Fatima is impregnated by evil and is forced to drink blood and eat rotten food. She has a strange spirit holding her hostage plus someone she trusted brought her there. Those events alone are horrific. I think everybody has become desensitized to horror so much that only gore satisfies them. I don't watch it for the scary stuff as much as for the mystery of it all.
Thanks for not going off spoilers! This is why I have been weary of watching YT theories because some have been too spot on for it not to have been known previously, so I have been staying away from most theory videos about this show.
@@paularized1 Listen, they are going to send up a rag tag group of idiots who shouldn't be near a drill, a gun or, a nuclear warhead. The one dude was right though, the Cubs won the world series, maybe he's some type of prophet.
When Miranda left and closed the door, it looked like it was still daytime. Perhaps she got lost and when she finally found the tree it was dark and too late. Great recap!
As a nurse, I will say that blood in jars would have been solid jello without blood thinner. It took me months to learn to get the vein to maven get the blood but he got it first try in the wrong spot 😂😂😂😂😂😂 7:27
We don't know how much guidance Elgin had from either his past or whilst he was doing it. Stuff gets cut out for brevity. As for the blood coagulating,....ehhh have you seen how the electricity and water works in town?
Nah, she's doing the most and think she knows more answers than anyone without trying. At least Boyd found animals and the talismans. What has she done besides shoot someone? She acts like she's been in an abusive relationship either as a kid or an adult by the way she talks about being a cop as that gives her the power she desperately craved in that period of her life.
In episode 9, a couple of things stood out to me. When the boy in white was talking to Victor, he had a clenched fist. When he spoke to Christopher, he also had a clenched fist. That is a sign that he was angry and that things were not going as planned. If that is the case, then it is fair to assume that things are going as planned when he smiles and waves. He smiled and waved after he pushed Tabitha out of the window, and he smiled and waved when he first saw Victor and all of those dead bodies. That tells me that the boy in white is either evil or vindictive. The fact that he didn't tell Victor the whole truth while he was at the tree also leads me to believe that he is helping the townspeople for his gain. I know that this sounds odd, but I don't think he cares about those kids, and the entities seem to know everything about all of the people in the township, including where they are at a given time. I wonder if he spoke to Christopher with the knowledge that he would be overheard by Victor, which would lead him to tell his mom and get her killed. I have never seen a the boy in white with the kids. I never see them in the same scene or standing beside each other. I am not 100 percent sure, but there is a part of me that thinks that the boy in white created those monsters, and he releases them at night as part of a sick game that gives him pleasure. Maranda was in a location that the monsters wouldn't have been able to find her so he tricked Victor into telling his mom the story that would force her to go out in the woods and get killed. Then he wiped Victor's memory so that he wouldn't know that the boy in white played him. Another thing that is a bit odd is if the Kimono lady can appear out of nowhere and hold Fatima down. Couldn't she have killed Victor when his back was turned and Tabitha when she came into the underground cabin? It seems odd; maybe some rules state that the entities can't kill directly or that they can't kill in the daytime. The last thing that is kinda weird is that Tabitha seems to regain her memories when she relives the events of the past. When she touched the door to she had a memory because that is what maranda did. She had a memory when she hugged victor because both her and victor was in the underground area and they hugged at that same spot. She also had a vision when she touched jims arm. Meaning that jim had to have been there before and she had to have grabbed his arm the exact same way. Really Odd
The Boy in White also smiled and waved at Ethan at the end of one of the 1st S1 episodes. It was at the very end of the episode, Ethan was laying by a window in colony house with his leg bandaged and Julie came up and sat at the foot of the bed. It was right after they got him unstuck from inside the RV. He def gives me the creeps too and I agree he seems like he's up to something. There was one comment by Sara (when she was walking with Boyd and Kenny to the ruins where she heard the music box). She said "I don't think he's really a little boy" Also, it was Victor whose arm Tabitha touched and had the dejavu or whatever. They were in the church with Sara.
Hi E-man! Omg what an episode! I don't even know what's going to happen next! But the reincarnation theory seems legit?? Or they're the same character in a game with shared memories...this could be one big VR game?! The monsters do mention "game" and "fun" quite a lot. What was interesting is that Jade mentioned he never knew his dad...hmm what if somehow Christopher is his dad? I know those are some wild theories...sounds weird but my hubby and I just love speculating. Keep the great breakdowns coming! ❤
Love the episode!! Jim gets the gameball this episode for stepping up and trying to listen to what he doesn't understand about his wife and kids. I loved Jade explanation of Victor to Henry. Elgin is clearly trolling us at this point by not changing his clothes. I think is as quickly the monsters and Kimono lady used Elgin for their purpose, they will kill him. I don't think Fatima will survive giving birth or if she does she will no longer be human. I got a chuckle from the monster's giving Boyd "Hey, what's up big head ?" Shout out. I think the town wants to break Boyd because he was able to bounce back so to speak after having to kill Abby. That is a hope and resilience unmatched. I think every since than Boyd has been on "their shit list or who does Boyd think he is list". Loved Sarah speaking out.
I discovered your channel last year and subscribed this year for season 3! You do a really great job covering this series! I'm going to make a point to watch more of your videos! Thanks so much!
Miranda left victor in daylight. So maybe she made her way during the day, but didn’t make it in time before night fall? And there was nowhere to hide?
"Dem Dusty kids in the tunnel"😅 First of all I want to say thank you, watching this straight after the episode made me feel better about all the questions so I appreciate this. I've joined the last 2 episodes and I'm starting to appreciate the conversational expert and bouncing off other people. One thing I don't agree on is Aldridge. To a point. I feel that he chose to go with Elis wth both malicious and good intentions, because he is a good perhaps somewhat nieve individual. He wanted to comfort Elis that she's going to be okay (because he's looking after 😅) he tried to comfort Elis at the river. Also of course I think he is being malicious trying to guide Elis away from where she is, as he feels Elis may have the best hope of finding her in his state of despair and focus. We see here Eldridge/Aldridge 😅 is actually still a good guy he's just extremely nieve and being led by a dead ghost controlling him. He thinks he's helping everyone. Ultimately we can all agree on one true fact, this man must be reiking of BO by now and if i was there i wouldn't trust him as result. I doubt they have tooth paste aswell. I am annoyed they called this 'revelations and somehow manached to squeeze out a few more questions whilst answering questions I didn't ask 😅 how are they going to rap up 187 questions envounting in 1more episode. It's not gonna happen! The kimono lady twist will be i think that she's good and trying to help them and as I said that to myself I thought maybe she's the chaned up guys wife or something and he's keeping her there.
Laughing about Elgin's shirt. Y'all catch all the details. Marielle needs to talk about what she's feeling because she ain't said a peep. I don't like Jim's redemption arc. Laughing at the Ellis not being useful dig. 🤣🤣🤣 The nurse monster outside Boyd's place was trying to start a fight.
When people say this, I don't understand how someone can be someone else. If you're talking reincarnation, Henry is still alive so why would Jim be someone is who still alive?
😁 The boy in white was shown speaking to Christopher and in other scenes this season as a younger child already. Either those scenes were AI w/sound or shot earlier before thr actor aged.
I like how Sara didn't hide that she was hearing voices again. She didn't care if people'd take it the wrong way and think she was going crazy again or gonna murder people again, she just straight up admitted it in a way that was useful, showing how she genuinely cares for the wellbeing of others more than herself.

100% agree, for me it was the greatest highlight of the entire episode.

I’m glad Ethan totally disregarded the fake Thomas on the radio.
What do you expect, he is the actual man of the house. Actually compare his actions to Jim, and tell me I am wrong.
Ethan the man of the house hold opened up the door at least twice and let the monsters inside😅😊😂😅😊😂
Did anyone noticed that when Smiley killed Victor's mom he actually made a run? Think this is the first time we've seen one of them things running.

Elgin is proving to be pretty dense and easily manipulated!
At this point, any excitement would be welcomed
I hope that happens. Ellis knows something is up.

I felt so too.. if Ellishad given away that he was picking up on Elgin, Elgin may have attacked him. Better to play it off for now until he can surely get the upper hand

Interesting how Smiley ran, as the nightwalkers never run
We have actually had this come up a few times
It's indicated that the monsters DON'T run, not that they can't.

I was afraid that Elgin was gonna try to drown Ellis. Also left wondering, is this how they are tying in the "water" part of elgins dream upon arriving.
I thought the same thing too about drowning
I swore he was about to try and kill him I was so nervous
For some reason Elgin thinks he's doing good though.
I had that same exact thought… but o think that lake is important. I think that is foreshadowing how Elgin will eventually die
@@melissamarable3555I think that's what the writers wanted us to think by having Elgin walking behind Ellis.
I took it more like "everything is changing... therefore I don't know where this train is headed either."
He’s the teen in white now.
I think it tracks though. I like how they went right into it. No brilliant under tone, just very direct in speaking to us the audience. Very unconventional

That’s a brilliant idea I believe it too
The right person has to go through the tree, when they're told to.
Tabitha went through the tree during the day
Kimono lady didn't once tell Elgin to change his shirt 😂😂😂
She didn't want to be a hypocrite, because she hasn't changed her kimono either.
I think both your answers could be right, I am a tad confused and my jury is out. If she is Victor's mum reincarnated, she has two husbands now !!
Or lifes...
@@LampDoesVideogameexactly!!! She’s Eloise
I think he did but don't want to let on until he has help
Elgin has the perfect look though. He looks and speaks softly and he just seems innocent, even knowing what he did I fully believe he means well. It would be hard for me to think this kid did anything. He's such a good casting choice

I really enjoyed this episode, a lot better.
And what about The Motel
It's the same actor for the boy in white. He's 14 in real life.
Did you all notice how Tabitha was telling Julie not to touch her, while trying to hold Victor's hand at the very end?

Exactly. I have this same conversation with a guy on here a few weeks ago. He kept saying the monsters can't run and I made the point, just because we haven't seen them run doesn't mean they can't.
pretty sure the first one that killed the mom and the daughter in season 1 was fast

First of all, I really appreciate the fact that you are keeping your channel leak free! I've been scared of watching review videos and looking at comments because of the leaks.
Now, a thought I had while watching the episode followed by your video...
This episode seems to be centered around guilt. Here's what we have:
1. Victor feeling guilty about his mother;
2. Sara rebuilding the toy her brother gave her (as if she is honoring him and his memory like that);
3. Jim feeling guilty for not being a fraction of a parent;
4. Tabitha mentioning Thomas' d34th in a way that shows how helpless and guilty she felt when it happened;
5. Fake-Thomas trying to incite guilt on Jim through the radio;
6. Henry feeling guilty for not being able to "fix" Victor;
7. Donna feeling somewhat guilty for considering taking hope away from people by telling the truth about Fatima;
8. Ethan feeling guilty for telling Julie what to do at the ruins;
Love this!
@@Laura_Bee. Don't forget the boy in white, he feels guilty when he tried to help Christopher, Christopher ends up going nuts and killing everyone.
That's the whole rationale the boy in white uses with Victor, and why he doesn't want to help again.
This episode was absolutely crazy and shocking!! Great review Eman!!!!
Good point on the pairings
My takeaway was that Tabitha is Eloise, not Miranda, and she ran out after her mother and watched her mother get killed, then she went through the tree and had repressed memories.
@@LampDoesVideogame Ohhh
@@tacrewgirl Idk how anyone gets that she's Miranda... It just makes more sense that we literally saw those scenes from Eloise's perspective, after she left the cellar, and she saw her mom get killed.
If anything....she's def eliose
If the boy in white talks to Jade the series would end😂😂😂😂
Immediately 😅
Great job as usual E man! Here are some of my thoughts based on what we saw.
-The faraway tree is important to go home and when Miranda went to the tree she went at night for a reason(one we don’t know yet) (because why go at night when there’s risk of dying) my guess is the faraway tree sends you to the light tower at night and that’s also why the monsters come out at night only. Could be wrong just a theory.
- the boy on white and the angkooey crusty kids are good - kimono lady is evil. BIW says things are changing but doesn’t answer if it’s bad , that mean’s it is bad
-finally people are talking more how can you escape a place or figure a puzzle if you don’t have as many pieces as possible.
-last thing when Tabitha had those flashbacks of Miranda did she freak out cause she was Miranda or because she was the daughter? That part I still don’t get
Good point on only being able to access the faraway tree at night, hence why the monsters come out at night.
Tabitha went during the day. The BIW pushed her out. The purpose was to bring back Henry. It's not an escape route.
@@MF-ty2zn1 yes Tabitha went during the day I was thinking about this too. Which is why the boy in white had to push her out the lighthouse? He said “this is the only way” maybe at night it’s different?

If I may defend Elgin, just a tiny bit, I think however this town affects certain people, it’s fair to say the control can be paralyzing to the extent that the affected person(s) simply are responding in ways that’s not rational to even themselves outside of this place. We see this happen with Randall, Sara, and even Fatima; each person is different, but they all seem paralyzed to the effects of “Fromville”.

She said "I don't think he's really a little boy"
Also, it was Victor whose arm Tabitha touched and had the dejavu or whatever.
I just don’t understand why Elgin would trust the komono lady when she tried to drown him last season …
Look at Acosta wanting to be a good cop by de-escalating Victor lol 25:42
Okay, I will stay out of the comment section when watching any reviews on From. I can't stand spoilers!
I discovered your channel last year and subscribed this year for season 3! You do a really great job covering this series! I'm going to make a point to watch more of your videos! Thanks so much!
Thank you Lisa!
Miranda left victor in daylight. So maybe she made her way during the day, but didn’t make it in time before night fall? And there was nowhere to hide?
Now that is possible! 🤔
"Dem Dusty kids in the tunnel"😅
First of all I want to say thank you, watching this straight after the episode made me feel better about all the questions so I appreciate this.
The nurse monster outside Boyd's place was trying to start a fight.
Tabitha is Miranda. Jim is Henry. Julie is Eloise. Ethan is Victor. Jade is Christopher. Just my opinion.
Tabatha is Eloise, not Miranda.
When people say this, I don't understand how someone can be someone else.
If you're talking reincarnation,
Henry is still alive so why would Jim be someone is who still alive?
@ Time travels. Wormhole. Parallel universe. Idk. Logic isn’t necessarily important in Fromville lol
@@Tubecruiseyes reincarnation but like one that is a cycle where you don't necessarily need to be dead for the next cycle to start
Oh dang! That makes so much sense! Also, I think Randall is Martin.
In Elgin's defense, he has been sleep deprived...
😁 The boy in white was shown speaking to Christopher and in other scenes this season as a younger child already. Either those scenes were AI w/sound or shot earlier before thr actor aged.
