Nakuru is one of 3 cities (Nrb, Msa, NKR) with a statehouse. The others are state lodges. 4. Nakuru has the 3rd largest URBAN Population. Bigger than Kisumu. 5. Nakuru is equi-distant to the following County Capitals; Nairobi, Eldoret and Nyeri. Approx 160km to each. 6. Nakuru county was owned by only 2 white men; Delamere and Egerton. 7. Nakuru had Formular 1 track in the 40s and 50s and was the cleanest town in East Africa upto the 80s. 8. If you drive from Eldoret to Nairobi, you will go through 7 counties. 50% of your journey will be in Nakuru county while the other 50% is share among the other 6.

The reason for Nakuru not having tall buildings isn't about soils, it has a good bedroom, but it is all to do with the instability of the Rift Valley tectonic systems. Unless you can design a hugely earthquake proof structure like the Japanese, you'd be taking a huge risk with the ordinary buildings going tall. And also on the cleanliness front, they have improved, but they are not at the levels of Kisumu City. And their roads are worse. Overall, how do you find the Kenyan cities?
