- NTD’s Lee Hall sits down with Reverend Calvin Robinson, a political advisor, broadcaster and conservative commentator.
Calvin talks about the battles he’s been through standing up to wokeness in the church and beyond, and why he encourages others to stick up for their beliefs.
He says the inclusivity that progressive society talks about doesn’t stretch to Christians, and that the intolerance they are suffering will become persecution.
We need to have Jesus in our lives. Nothing works without constantly praying to Jesus. I know this because my life was good when I had Jesus as my guide and my life has been awful without him. The reason I am starting to return to Jesus in my life.

I am a Christian street preacher, I live the Christian Life, but it is becoming more and more essential to use words, and warn others about the dangers of rejecting Christ, and the message of salvation.

Our parish outside of Washington DC was protested by pro-choice activists. We brought them lemonade. Our church was then firebombed. We responded again with love. We seek to respond to hate with Love, God's love, and God Himself.
There can be too much turning the other cheek when confronted by evil. Be strong and honest but never compromise.
We all know what is right, so just do it!
And this is from the woke brigade that preaches free speech (so long as you go along with everything they say) and that say love is love. Everything about them is contradiction. The same people who talk about women's rights but have no problem with biological men competing in women's sport. You can't reason with lunatics who are living in a parallel universe.
I left the CoE (regrettably) after wokeness even infiltrated the charismatic wing within the Anglican Communion. I now go to a mainstream Pentecostal church. The one thing I still miss is the liturgical element of Anglicanism. I pray sincerely God intervenes and saves the Church.

Calvin is always clear and straightforward. He makes me think because he is challenging, and I respect him very much and always get a lot of encouragement and fortitude from his talks. God bless him. He has helped me gain a strength in my own beliefs that I have never had before. We must all take up our cross and stand up for what is true. What is the worst that can happen when we do? We are all called to fear God more than we fear death, and to love God more than we love life.

@@pastorbri no he wasn't, he forgave sin but he never was permissive of it, his teaching is about how man can be redeemed if he denies his fallen nature and follows the example and rules of god, his humanity made him scared of his impending suffering upon the cross, but he denied that by his obedience to the father, he expects us all to try to follow in his example by denying the flawed aspects of ourselves for the glorification of god.

@@pastorbri Calvin and myself do not hate homosexuals, it is not proper to hate those who have fallen to sin because they yet might be saved by the grace of god, however it is not kind to affirm them or lie to them about what they do being acceptable in the eyes of god, It is our fallen nature to be rebellious against his design in ways of lust and the other deadly sins but whether they are inherant to us or not doesnt make them acceptable.

I agree with Calvin. All the churches of England need to repent and turn back to God, but the church is only half the problem. The church has failed in its purpose of leading to Christ, and is leading away from Christ because it has gone woke and chosen to support and promote man made doctrines rather than teach God's doctrines. The church has walked away from Christ.
The other half of the problem is those who put up with the church's apostacy. They have allowed the church to convert itself into a synagogue of Satan.
Dr. Michael Lake teaches us how not to accept the apostacies we are all falling into due to a lack of a church to lead us to and keep us in Christ in his "Understanding the Kingdom" video series. Dr. Lake is not shy about what the Bible says.
We should not be weak Christians. We should study to make ourselves acceptable to God by knowing the kingdom and being strong in Christ. Dr. Lake's video series is available on You Tube, and I suggest we all get busy listening and learning what we are supposed to be in Christ. Its up to us to teach ourselves to follow Christ, learn how to live in the Kingdom, and drop any church when it turns itself into a synagogue of Satan and refuses to promote sound docrtrine. The church can only send itself to hell, it does not send us to hell. We send ourselves by not studying to be and being acceptable to God.

Every time I have been to the Church of England in recent times, it’s women priests, bishops who waffle on about inclusivity. They talk to you as though they are trying to indoctrinate you. I always feel like walking out. But these have been Christenings etc, family events that because you love your family and do not want to turn your back on the event. Women in the Church are a main problem. And I say this as a woman. I cannot even remember the last time I saw a male doing the service. They even took the pews out of the church and changed the Lord’s Prayer. Does it make me angry. Yes.

I think it's so sad you think like this. If it wasn't for a woman priest I would never have been saved. Yes I know there are wishy washy, terrible women priests but I think this line on women in priesthood is just another way of causing division. I can't see the connection between women priest and a problem. The leader of the Church of England is a man, and is going against the faith more than anyone else before. It really saddens me to see this being used as another way to divide people . God also blesses women with gifts just as He does men. I'm sorry for your bad experiences, and I'm in no way about wokeness or changing the Lord's prayer, but God created male and female not just male.

regarding the ordination of women, Paul himself talks about a deacon in the Church of Cenchreae...Roman 16:1 I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of His people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me....wasn't phoebe ordained like the other deacons...and paul specifically gives instructions to the church to receive her...
Also regarding the term gay christian, such a thing does not exist anywhere in the Bible, and if we are to truly survive in this age we are getting into, then such terms should not be used in the church..its the same as saying a christian thief, a christian adulterer, a christian liar, a christian murderer...sin is sin and should not be a part of the church in any way...
I agree with you and i think conflating women and gay priests is so wrong. One is a "sexuality" the other is a biological gender that cannot be changed (despite woke thinking on the subject). Women are just as anointed as men in ministry, and why would God call women if they were not supposed to be in leadership? I don't see women priests as a problem in themselves, my only feeling is that maybe womaen are more likely to capitulate to demands and not argue, however in my experience, that's not the case in the ministry. My minister is a woman and has stuck her neck out over the gay issue, and will not bless or marry gay couples.
For these and other reasons I left my church - but there is nowhere else to go.

God and Jesus come into your heart and tabernacle with you. They indwell you and cleanse you of sin, refine you like silver. No flesh man can provide the knowledge,truth and understanding of God. The fruits are your gifts He gives, that enable you to discern truth from falsehood, the wolves from the sheep and the ability to receive the Spirit of Elijah.

Be courageous and step back from denomination buildings that preach their version of God. Some wolves in those buildings have not the Holy Spirit and therefore blind the sheep and are sinful shepherds. Move from the milk to the meat of the word and mature in Christ.
God wants us alone to go to Him for all things and for Him to indwell us. This is why the veil in the temple ripped from top to bottom, at the Christ’s death on the cross. Christ repaired the breach caused by sin between man and God. We can now commune with God and Jesus without third party intervention. The disciples asked Jesus where they should go when He explained He was leaving them. He directed them to go receive the Holy Spirit where He would be forever with them.
Should you still feel the need to fellowship or provide support to baby Christians, by all means attend, but ensure the denomination is built on compassion, truth and is Christ- centric.

Listening to a sermon from a COE cleric these days is more like listening to a sociology lecture.
My female priest (CofE) on Saturday had been at a Pride event said she was seen as their chaplain mmmm but be that as it may. On Sunday she was celebrating Eucharist wearing a Pride flag as a chasuble ahh that's it I am hopping mad. Now before someone screams ...phobic I personally do not care who you prefer to jump into bed with providing you are not sibling up to me wanting to play the game
