I agree. I feel that some other car reviewers are a little reckless in their demeanor, speech and overall energy towards such an elite brand. I find myself appreciating him more here, due to the respect here, cinematography and classy elegance of the review overall (from the speech down to the video editing).

@@champagnefinest Drake's Rolls is Mansory one? Looks like 11 year old played too much Need for Speed. Completely out of place bumpers that strips the car of elegant luxury feeling, and rims look like they were stolen from 2001 Cadillac Escalade and it has 90s German Taxi yellow beige color (type german taxi mercedes). It's an *abomination* of a car. Mansory is known for bad looking vehicles that only rappers and sportsmen without taste buy, but this Rolls is next level ugly.

Bhanu ch. I've been in the new phantom and the old ghost.. The phantom interior looks very tacky and cheap. it has this classless bling factor that would appeal to ganagstr rappers. As big as the car is, the interior is small and crampy, especially in the back..very claustrphobic, unless you are small. The ghost would suit a small person...not roomy at all, and the interior is blindingly overstated..very blingy. Rolls have gone backwards, just as mercedes are doing with the S class.
I enjoy watching and listening to numerous car reviewers. Some are very good. Others are making their best attempts to provide good, relevant, attention-grabbing videos. However, Rory, I’ve got to say that you are among the very best of the lot. You provide meaningful details that others simply do not. Kudos to the team for the high quality productions, too. Keep up the great work, sir.

Rolls Royce is quiet because of the heavy sound insulation in it, the engine is not actually that quiet.rolls royce engines are quiet compared to other gasoiline cars but compared to electric cars Electric cars are quieter because of the lack of an engine.But they have a lot of wind noise because they lack sound insulation.(But sound insulation can be put). If you put the same amount of sound insulation of rolls royce in a Tesla, the Tesla will be more quiet than the rolls royce.

Top Gear has been a joke for at least the last 20 years. Stupid, pompous morons wasting BBC license payers' money by going all over the world, staying in 5-star hotels driving supercars and hypercars. That was NOT what Top Gear was about.
They stopped reviewing cars and started treating themselves to a 5-star life on our money. Clarkson, May, Hammond and those Top Gear directors/script writers should be prosecuted and jailed for stealing public's money.

I own a Merc. I think the S Class hasn't ruined the brand - it is lovely. I think the introduction of the A Class has, because now every Tom Dick & Harry owns a Merc. The A Class is the 6th best selling car in the UK in 2020. Before, everyone was like "you need to be wealthy to own a Merc" - but now everyone can. The A Class is not even that good a car (as told to me by Merc staff at my local dealership). All these people think that the A Class is as good as Mercedes gets. They are so wrong.

No RR owner would get bothered by opening their doors, it’s just a matter of luxury. And if the tech breaks down and the keyhole has to be used, they wouldn’t work either.
According to RR most people drive their cars themselves anyway, they aren’t as posh as sometimes perceived by the public.
Overall a RR should never have a trade off, and you, no offense, should use google translator to figure out what concealed means.

@@hastensavoir7782 What makes your comment so ironic is that Lexus has encountered the exact same problem while developing the 7th generation ES. They removed some of the sound deadening material because they found out that the car was too quiet which caused nausea for those inside the car. They still covered 94% of the floorpan with sound deadening materials even after removing some. They also used a special material to cut off the frequencies that the electric motor generated in the hybrid models. This was 2 years before the unveiling of this RR. Affordable does not mean cheap. Know your facts before making ill-educated comments.

TTAMC C. They aren’t meant to be preformance cars, I thought the same thing until I drove in one and it’s incredible. The v12 is insane and it’s as quiet as Tesla and its the best riding car I have ever been in, plus the comfort was incredible.
Also if you own one you defiantly aren’t driving it 😂

, don't wish to make you jealous Keith but I'm actually getting a 2020 Ghost.....unfortunately it will be in 2040 when its in my price bracket ! In the U.S. having money is applauded, here in the UK it's kind of embarrassing to flaunt it , especially in these times of financial disparity. Lovely car but does the same job as a VW Golf albeit in a more flamboyant fashion. Remember money doesn't maketh the man ! Good luck with the job hunting!

I have seen other reviews of the Ghost but thought I would watch for Rory. Glad I did, his take on the car was excellent, I came away learning something, something more about the chassis/body construction and the 5/11 degree fridge settings. Might not be the ultimate luxury car but maybe the ultimate car presenter.
Was expecting a whole lot more.I thought the previous generation looked a lot like my father's old Lincoln Continental (last generation) that even though this one went through hundreds of changes it looks almost identical to the old one ,especially the inside cabin.
Honestly I prefer the looks of the new Bentley Flying Spur and just waiting for the "Speed" edition.So in conclusion I like it a lot for a RR but I am far from wowed

I think that the Flying spur looks much sportier and appeals not only to me but a much younger and drive-orientated generation. I would never like to be driving a RR, only be driven.

the rich work slightly differently. would you, a CEO of a billion dollar company be seen in anything less than the best or highest spec car.. most phantom owners would be driven as well by chauffeur whilst Ghosts are primarily self driven
