This is one of the nicest looking cars that have been made in a very long time. Modern but with some old school elegance.

It's on the same platform, not the same car which is a common thing in car manufacturing. Simply means they share some technical structures which help reduce manufacturing cost

Don´t forget it was 5770 Euros before tax, that means when 19% tax is applied, you are looking at 6 866 Euro, which is 8 203 US Dollars...so yeah

Rory was simply too good for Top Gear and not Northern enough to fit in with the Yorkshire Chumps.
I personally did not like Rory when on Top Gear, the format did not suit him imo, but these AutoTrader reviews by @Rory are excellent. His personality and knowledge is presented so well; it's his natural presenter home.
The failure of post-Clarkson Top gear was the personalities and friendship when compared of the original three. Also that the format has not changed, mixed with similar chemistry missing...
The only Yorkshireman on Top Gear has been Jeremy Clarkson.

I've been lucky enough to spend a bit of time with the latest Continental GT and my word it felt very special. The interior is leagues above anything else I've experienced I actually felt like I should taken my trainers off before getting in 😂

Well, this is cheaper than the Phantom :) This is more aimed towards the Rolls-Royce Ghost :)
This is not a Phantom competitor, this is a Ghost competitor, the Mulsanne sort of is the one that competes with the Phantom.
Cheaper. A lot More engaging to drive. More feasible to drive within cities. And a lot less association with rappers, drug dealers, boxers

Such a beautiful piece car, this Bentley. But am I the only one who can’t get his head around, that for 220k pounds, they don’t bother to make the wheels look the same from both sides? I have never seen a car manufacturer provide you with this option when selecting asymmetric wheels. From the right side of the car, they seem to roll forward, but from the left side, they seem to roll backward.

Correct me if i am wrong but someone removed the light on the flying B cause of some regulation in the uk.
Massive depreciation though. My dad bought a fully optioned 2014 plate Flying Spur last October 2020 with 23.000 on the clock for £57.500.

Is it just me or are those exterior panel gaps REALLY off? Compare the hood-to-fender and fender-to-bumper gaps. Also the rear bumper is very uneven around the tail light at 6:05.
Is the bonnet open or are the panel gaps really that bad?

8:20 - the reason the firmware is quite old is because they have to lock in the firmware during the QA testing phase early in the car's development. From that they are not free to upgrade willy nilly, as the possibility of any function/app no longer working isn't a risk they can take. It's not to the level of a SCADA system or the like, but there are very good reasons why it is "behind".
OTA updates tho...
Put a rod under the wing of flying b. When it struggles to hide, just remove the crystal and take out the wired light.
(I don't even live in Uk, don't blame me)

Bentley needs to do a hybrid version, these types of cars would greatly benefit. I doubt rich people like to spend every other day filling their cars up.

Filling up a car is more efficient then charging it. Plus i’m such rich people don’t care for the gas money
@@ou6775 I said hybrid not electric, you don’t need to charge hybrids. Money is not the issue, time is. Because of the big engine, gas mileage is bad and a lot of time is wasted filling the car up.

I always found V8 to be the sweet spot between performance and running costs. I'd appreciate if they made a V8 version, which I'd go for. W12 seems a bit too much and more like a flex than anything else.
Also, why do you guys use metric units in describing dimensions instead of imperial?

Second: love the flying spur... Though personally im not feeling this colour.... I prefer that Red with black wheels V8 press car.... Either way... beautiful place to spend time though.
I feel like the illuminated part of the B fell off rather than being stolen. 🤷♂️

Isn't there a law in the UK that says car companies logos can no longer be illuminated? Maybe Bentley themselves removed the LED?
You are correct its an EU regulation. Car manufacturers RR and Bentley are legally required to remove the illumination even on vehicles already sold. They still have to do so on U.K cars despite Brexit. This car has not been tampered with.

No one does a night time view of a car, I wish i could at least see the snippets of what this car looks like with lights on and interior lighting.
Not saying 153-220k is a small sum but I thought it cost like 450k with full options like a phantom because it looks just as luxurious

The european union forbid light ornement on the hood of cars since 20216, rolls & royce had the same problem and they had to remove on the car they sold with the lightning Spirit of ecstasy :)
