I've been looking for rental homes in the San Fernando valley. I've come across some remodeled homes that were obviously previous indoor pot grow operations. I can tell by the fancy spanking new AC systems, upgraded electrical panels and rediculous amount of power outlets in some rooms and garage.
There are quite a few older homes in this part of the Valley that have fallout shelters from the Cold War era. Numerous aerospace engineers bought homes in the 50s leading into the 80s, and those were generally the type of people who figured they would possibly survive a nuclear war if they built an underground bunker. I am guessing this lab was a leftover from those times.
First mistake moving to residential neighborhood, second mistake moving next to nosey neighbors and third having heavy traffic in a residential neighborhood surrounding nosey neighbors
