For anyone wondering, once you've built a gaming pc, it's incredibly easy to just upgrade a part! Let's say you want a new GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), all you have to do is buy a compatible GPU, and then swap it out for the one already in your machine, or add it to the second slot! (That depends on your motherboard) I highly encourage getting in to gaming on a pc as there is so much more options when it comes to gaming! Happy gaming! :)

@@drago4813 definitely build (WAY CHEAPER) but I recommend watching Austin Evans guide. Once you build and rebuild it a few times, you can build it in as little as 15 minutes! If something goes wrong, I recommend calling microcentre. You don't need to go in the store they'll just walk you through how to troubleshoot! I had a bad CPU and 2 bad motherboards, the odds in that happening are 1/1000000 but it can happen. Buy your parts in a store rather than online, trust me!

When it comes to purchasing used tech, it's important to consider factors like warranty, potential hardware issues, and compatibility with newer software. I don't know if i will get an answer here but here's hoping. Last night I was playing a game and it was running a little slow (fps drops and freezing) for reference I have a 2080super, 16gb of ram and a Intel i7-9700k. So I closed out my game and went looking for a reason as to why the fps drops were happening. First stop.... storage space, I went to my D: drive and deleted some old TH-cam recordings/game clips and then moved to my C: drive which is 90% full and I thinks that's bad right? So I deleted the EFT (Live) folder in the battle state games folder and then resarted my computer. When it turned back on everything was going at like 1fps and after about 10 mins just completely shut off. I asked a friend and he thought I deleted a core file, so I restored every file except the EFT one because it was to large to restore. It is now the next morning and still barely working and turning off after 10-15 mins. I don't know what to do besides take it somewhere. Any advice?

Thank you so much for the tip, I've recently tried to play Genshin Impact on my laptop since I'm more accustomed to playing it on the PlayStation5. While I agree that some aspect makes playing it all the more enjoyable (such as picking up on subtle details that a PS5 would otherwise miss, like the sleeping Hillichurls snoring (so cute)), it is trickier than I thought.

So, as a 30 year old who has never owned a PC before, I've started my build journey and have been really looking forward to playing games I've played on consoles like the Civilization games, Assassin's Creed, Halo, probably won't ever play CoD, and I'm excited to experience the depths of games that having a PC allows. I am so ready to play games.

As someone currently gaming on a dell inspiron laptop (Runs on Vega 8 integrated graphics)
I'm excited to evntually build a proper gaming pc. Beyond the initial investment it seems so much more convenient than console gaming. Your library is always there, online communities are a lot more active, buying games to build out your library is a lot cheaper and not charging me to play online is a welcome return coming from console gaming.

Literally just bought my first PC, its a prebuilt because it was insanely cheap an Ryzen 5600g pre build. I mainly want to stream older games, emulated stuff. Would an rtx 3060 be a good gpu to add with that in mind?

  • @Sythentic

I want to build instead of buying a prebuild but i think im overthinking it... Im unsure exactly what parts to get. When it goes to actually building it i have watched long tutotials and it doesn't look to hard just slotting things in and stuff.
What im reallt worried about is getting the right parts and how i know if i get a case that fits the parts and if it wont work and stuff lol.
