this is hilarious
Glad to see you're back, man! Your old videos used to be on repeat when I first got into setup building!
💜 Working on new vids right now!
Great tips, especially number 4. I just dusted out my PC with compressed air a few days ago. Good Old Games (GOG) is also a great place to get games for good prices, plus they have some current stuff. Right now they have their autumn sale on. They also have weekly sales. PlayStation and Xbox also always have sales on to be fair, and some of them are excellent. No need to pay $60+ for games if you don't want to on most any platform. I was a PC gamer first and foremost but later started playing shooters on consoles. Took a while to get really good with a controller but practice was key. However, I'm still better with keyboard and mouse than I am a controller with shooters.
Good information. I’m just starting out, so these are good things to know.
This was very well put together.
Thanks for the info I can’t wait to play and y’all of the fields of what ever world we play on see y’all there
These are all great tips, even one or two I didn't think of. I've been in a PCGMR for a long time and didn't think of some things! One tip that was super great was cleaning your PC. There is a MAJOR CAVEAT THERE THOUGH! MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LET YOUR FANS SPIN FREELY when you blow air through them. Another tip here is to (IF POSSIBLE) do it outside.
This vid was really helpful! i’ve wanted to buy a pc this year so this video is great! btw, is it possible you could do a 1500$ budget pc setup? it would be really appreciated
3-6 months for cleaning??? Crazyyy I clean mine every 2 weeks
came by this video while researching for pc gaming. About to get into it so i wanna make sure i know what im doing, thanks for the tips!
You'll love it. And save money over the long run. When I built mine years ago I researched parts what I wanted my experience to be, just make sure motherboard, cpu, and ram are all compatible. When shopping a motherboard, you don't need a top of the line super expensive board. Pick your board first and look at what it says as far as type of cpu whether its xx gen intel or am4 or am5 amd, then you know what cpu to look into getting. Also on the board specs it'll say use ddr4 or ddr5 or can use both as far as ram and will usually indicate it max memory and memory speed. Then start picking everything else. It's not as confusing as it sounds I promise 😂. When I did mine I bought 1-2 things every payday til I had everything then put it together.
@@iprodigy6723 appreciate the tips! to someone who doesn't know anything or hasn't done research to know what those terms you just used are, ya it can be confusing. Thank God i did research into what all that means lol. im a long way from building one, but it does hurt to start planning now especially if ik for certain ima build one.
Same here! Getting my first pc tommorow and wanna make sure i do everything right from the beginning.
Thank you the info./ tips. I'm an veteran PC Gamer/ Builder, and still find this videos information useful.
One thing I found that helped is playing games like roblox phantom forces or skills with a lower skill barrier than say fortnite or call of duty. This helps to get muscle memory while you also may be having fun
Thank you for introducing me to pc gaming
Kid you not, i got skyrim for 2 bucks cause i waited patiently for the steam summer sale, like take fnaf help wanted 2 which will 100% get a flat version soon, instead of paying 40 bucks for it now, i promise you within a year its gonna dip below 20 for sure.
Those are great tips. Thanks for making this video.
Personally, I can't stand using the letters as directional controllers. I always game with my left hand on the mouse while using the arrow keys for directions and the keys above those for weapons options and activate/open.
I've been trying to find a small stand-alone gaming keyboard to use instead of my full keyboard, but I can only find one that is for left handed use and another one that has the portion of a regular keyboard with the letters used for game controlling on it. I saw a great stand-alone controller years ago, but I can't find anything like it now.
You earned yourself a like sir. I havent finished the video but i did not know about changing the refresh rate in the display settings
🫡
What a great video
When cleaning pc with aircan or anything that blows air at high psi be cautious where you point it and how close you do. It may cause damage to hardware. Don't let the fans spin freely either since that can cause issues with your components.
Keep up the uploads
Noctua air coolers are better than AIO coolers. I used to run custom loops and was top 10 ranked for a while so, I know what I'm doing. With that said, either is generally an upgrade over stock cooling. Noctua coolers don't have the potential to leak water and don't have a pump that can fail. They support new brackets for mounting and their units can be reused over multiple generations. It's where the smart money lies.
King is back ❤
the colorful shooting one😮
Wong monitor freq, fan direction, part balance, something with thermal past probably watching the Verge tutorial, psu wrong direction, ram in wrong slots
Whats the game in the background? It looks fun as hell!
I remembered when I got my first gaming pc, the first game I bought was Java edition Minecraft. I didn't wanna spend the amount of money that it would've originally costed me (even though it wasn't expensive, at the same time I didn't wanna spend close to $30 on a game that came out over 10 years ago) so I bought a CD key for about $15ish or so. Best $15 I've ever spent on a game
Thank you for video new to PC gaming as of yesterday. This was helpful.
Same here I’ve been watching all day 😂
What's the name of the game he was playing at the begging? At 1:45
I love the vid!!!!
I just use a controller with my keyboard for gaming. The controller gives me better control of my character. And my keyboard does macro commands. I can't use the keyboard and mouse tactic due to nerve damage.
1:39 my man is showing my actual pc
Bros about to hit 100k
I got one coming thurs, i have no idea what im doin lol
Can you do a budget pc build for video editing and content creation. I wanna use my xbox as the main gaming component but could also play on the pc once in a while. My budget rn is 500 dollars
I just built a 500 dollar gaming pc. And I can run all games at 1080p high settings with 150 plus fps. Get rid of console man it just doesn’t compete
If your trying to do that your better off spending the money on a better build. 8gb gpus are becoming out dated and won't last and are a waste of money. You want/need at least 16gb vram for best performance for everything at any resolution.
Unless you want to worry about upgrading all the time and wasting even more money just to have extra parts with no use or to be sold at a major loss. Just future proof it by buying more high-end newer parts. It'll last you for years compared to not working or having constant issues for newer releases. Games are more and more demanding and 8gb will not get it done or leave you dissatisfied trust me.
I ended up wasting alot of money on a prebuild that had constant issues when I coulda just spent 600$ more and built from scratch and have top of the line everything. Which is what I ended up having to do and now stuck with a 2nd computer that will be hard to sell even at an extreme loss compared to what I paid.
What PC would you recommend for newcomers for those who don't want to spend too much? (like me) but it can handle any game like Starfield
NZXT’s Player One prebuilt is good at $1k as it has better specs than Starfield’s requirements, able to pay any games
@@ProdiJay thank you so much!!!
@@ProdiJay bro💀💀💀💀
be careful with canned air dusters they can break pins on the mother board
I use a controller on one game on my pc. Fortnite. And that's because keyboard and mouse on that game has wayyyyyy to steep of a learning curve for my taste.
One big mistake i made without even realizing (new pc owner here) i went and bought a super dope 4k monitor with a 144hz refresh rate with all the bells and whistles of an expensive 4k montior should have what i didnt realize was that certain graphics cars work best with different resolutions and even older games i play take a huge fps hit becuase im using more frames or pixels on the screen. Basically the main take away from this is sometimes the best you can afford isnt always the best for your needs research your card and your possible needs for a pc before just selecting the new best thing I definitely learned my lesson on this one.
100% true Alot of people don't realise this when buying monitors, that's why Im gaming at 4k 6ohz hitting over 100fps all the time 👍👍
I played Warframe to get used to my mouse and keyboard still hard jumping to rainbow six siege
Console converts have been blasted into believing fidelity matters.
Resolution over Frames
-> watch all the top pro streamers and notice the game looks like play dough.
Set it all on low and enjoy those sweet sweet frames.
If you want immersion then you can balance with higher settlings like I’ll prolly do with Starfield
Yea competitive games are different from single players games. Enjoy the beautiful details on your single player games. If competing you want those frames
My top five would be: Preordering games. Saints Row 5. Loot boxes if you have a gambling addiction. Uncomfortable chairs. And my number one is, not owning a Playstation. Stellar Blade looks amazing.
yea i will leave this with you. Always remain calm, fouces and beward of everything thats around u.
BINDING F TO SPRINT 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍
I only play most games with a PlayStation controller, unless it requires aiming.
You forgot to mention that most people only OWN 60Hz monitors so the first step is to make sure you purchase at least a 120Hz Monitor then change the setting to reach that rate.
For #5: The biggest advantage of playing on PC is the keyboard and mouse, cheap storage, and the ability of still using an Xbox or PS4/PS5 controller. It's about choice. I prefer hands-down keyboard and mouse over controller any day.

Hey, could you find a good gaming pc for around 1000$ that comes with a monitor that can run 370 fps. I’m trying to work multiple jobs as a 13 year old such as content creation, and eBay seller to make this dream a reality some day.😢
Your 13 bro just be a kid a little while longer trust me when you hit 20 shits gonna change 🤣
Thank god, my mouse has been driving me nuts. I thought I just needed to adjust to finally having a mouse that fits my hand and that that's why I was having trouble hitting my targets.
I can’t afford to touch grass since I put everything into my Pc
I have been a console player all my life and always wanted a gaming pc
PC gaming means freedom, new game genres, game mods, no subscriptions and you don't lose games on the new next gen. And you get both sony and MS games.
Do it, it's the best decision I made 8yrs ago.
What Game is that? The game at 1:50 seems unfamiliar and potentially fun, could someone please tell me what game it is?

@@ProdiJayThanks! By the way, I would just like to add that your videos are absolutely amazing! They are very informative, but have enough humour to make me feel happy while watching them, and not like I am taking notes in a boring History lesson.

The BIGGEST mistake you can make is buying a computer from HP. They sent me a USED computer after I bought a system off their website and then refused to exchange it, and after I returned everything, they refused to refund our money for almost 2 months.
