great little companion on the road! it sips fuel prudently, it is well equipped and spacious, fun to drive, it offers tons of headroom and legroom in the rear, fairly sized boot, it parks itself and fits into every gap. the dealers discount made the celerio a clear winner when deciding on a brand new car last weekend. celerio sz2 which I chose does without a/c, no alloys, no electric windows, no fog lamps, balck mirrors, no bluetooth but for me it is just perfect
@M T I have been driving it for a few days. Its a nippy, frugal, lovely little car, very much alike the Celerio, with the exception of the huge space of the new model.
Im a 67 yr old Englishman only 5 ft 5ins tall almost deaf so i cant hear the wind, tyre or engine noise, so this car is very good for me. I drove 126 miles on B class roads in Wiltshire not going over 60mph and recorded 70 mpg, with only 200 miles on clock.A good car.would recommend it.
I went into the Suzuki dealer today to have a look at a celero,I did not really have any intention of buying it,but after a test drive I was sold.what a cracking little car they are, and I would say to all the haters of the this car is go and try one.for the money you could not get a better new or used car, impressive passenger and load carrying capacity, economy, and what also impressed me was how well it got up to speed and maintained it,okay my mates will be taking the piss and laughing at me,but I bet I Will have the last laugh when their new cars depreciate more in two years than what my car cost new.
@strawberry_shortcake4life I am still very pleased with the car,it really is the do it all car, I'm 6ft 3 and there is plenty of room for me and the passenger sat behind me, with the rear seats down I have had a washing machine in the back,so for the size of the car, there is plenty of room, the car will also happily travel at 80 mph, even with four adult passengers,I know the image of these cars are not great, but if you can get over that, you will be the one that's laughing,oh and last thing the MPG is brilliant.
@strawberry_shortcake4life your welcome.i have a manual gearbox, and I don't find the car overly bouncy for a car of it's size, there is another Pro that I forgot to mention to you, the turning circle is amazing, as you know you are always better off having a good test drive to make sure the car will suit your needs, out of curiosity, what country are you in ?
@strawberry_shortcake4life wow, you're lucky to get all those extras on the car,if they did that here in the UK it would not be worth buying due to the amount they would charge for it, also I have just found out that since August this year, they are no longer making the celerio here in the UK,, I guess that's because it was so popular that it affected the sells of the more expensive Suzuki cars.please let me know if you buy the Suzuki celerio, and give me your own opinions on what you think of the car, take care.
My wife has got one and it turned out to be a great car, not just good looking. All necessary optionals are there, a lot of space inside, very easy to drive. Perfect for family. And the selling price is really good (from Thailand).
i find the boot space alright, as its just me majority of the time so its plenty of space for one person. if you have a family or to transport more stuff then i suggest another model or car
goddam awesome little vehicle! I own one and its got tons of headroom, great boot size (compare it to the mitsubishi mirage) great highway driver too I might add! its no V8 commodore but who needs/wants a lot of torque these days anyway! if your looking for the cheapest brand new car on the road especially in the AU get one of these gas sippers! coz I bet your wallet will thank you, not only for the buying price but for the ongoing cost of fuel as well!
I hadn't realised this model has been sold for 2 years now. Means that some secondhand ones are available now. The Celerio might just be what i need. I would like something to replace the 1.4 tonne Nissan i currently drive that is as close in charater to the classic Minis i once owned.
WhiskyPentruFete why would you go for a higher spec dacia when it is not road tax free, does not offer curtain airbags, and all in all the car dates back to renault's rejected projects of some clio 3 around 2005-7. and the engine, I had a clio, thank you. celerio is an amazing car, light weight, spacious, well equipped, fun to drive, parks itself and fits everywhere, 65mpg and free road tax makes it the best purchase under £7k
matUKlondon Apologies. I missed your comment. In answer to your question, I did indeed buy the car (for the wife) and liked it so much I bought another two (one for my daughter-in-law and the latest one for me).
Why everybody says that? It's outdoor design (especially the front) reminds me of 4x4 cars, like Jeep, in a mini version of course..! It gives a more mature, serious impression to me

+gabigowriel OTR is £6999 for the SZ2 but we ended at £6491
ps I own the car and can assure the readers this is the most accurate review I have read so far .Welldone !
+nikosz66 Thank you!
@M T Yes, its very frugal, amazingly spacious and with good roadholding. Plus, very reliable (Toyota 3cylinder engine)

Just 2 more months and this is mine. i have saved up 4 grand. making it to 6 for a big down payment. cant wait!!
kejah you can get a dual jet sz3 for £6500 used. And they are pretty new because the model is recent

+Kawasaki KLX 150 Riding Bangkok Thailand Glad she likes it!
i have this car, i was looking for something practical rather than style and the car is great for the money, id recommend it :)
RhysD298 How do you find the boot space? without folding the seats down

i love it to bits!
Hello, Does the car vibrate when the engine is in idle ? Is this because the engine is a 3 cylinder ? Thanks
Great review! I subscribed.
Thanks dude!
Nice review, was this filmed around Blundellands, Hightown area, Merseyside?
I love mine but have problems changing the Fahrenheit to Celsius as it's how it was left after the service. Also haven't noticed any blue tooth .
The Bluetooth isn't in every version I think it's just the sz3 and sz4. sz2 is basic.
It surely is AMAZINGLY SPACIOUS for its size!
Great wee car
How tall are you sir?
Is it still produced now?
Suzuki stopped imports to UK in 2019.
I found the car uncomfortable and seats are small for someone who is 5ft 10
Waiting for vat free offer too.
where is the automatic version
Krishanthan Sothi AGS
I have 1 great wee motor
For the same money you can get a high spec more specious Dacia Sandero.

+WhiskyPentruFete .if you want a dacia be aware thate it uses dated Renault engines and running gear. I would go for tha suzi anyday.
+WhiskyPentruFete dacia sandero does not offer 6 airbags, is an old renault clio and you may still pay the road tax, will it do 59-62 mpg?
I've got one
I'm waiting for the inevitable 'VAT free' offer...
+Peter Growcott have you bought the car?
matUKlondon Apologies. I missed your comment. In answer to your question, I did indeed buy the car (for the wife) and liked it so much I bought another two (one for my daughter-in-law and the latest one for me).
He is cute as Suzuki swift.. may i say it???
Looks like it's following the footprint of a Yaris.
Jamal Tyrone looks like an alto to me with a different name
Looks too lacking in personality
Jonathon Churchill true. Vw up is not much better
Why everybody says that? It's outdoor design (especially the front) reminds me of 4x4 cars, like Jeep, in a mini version of course..! It gives a more mature, serious impression to me
Well fortunately the appearance of a car isn't that important. I'd rather a reliable and cheap to run car any day.
T q
I'd describe it's looks as offensive.
