This is why the Shindig clips are the real gems, in my opinion. The gal that sang with Bobby was Donna Loren, the regular weekly female vocalist, and the gal with Bill Medley was guest singer, Lesley Gore, who had a few hits of her own like "It's My Party". Wish they had shows like this today. Usually at the end of the show they would bring all the regulars and guests out to do a medley of songs. It was like a giant cereal bowl of talent. Love it. Thank you so much for reviving this old clip.

I enjoy your channel too. I watch it often to see these old clips which bring back such good memories of my teen years. I used to watch Shindig, Hullabaloo, Where the Action Is and Hootenanny. At 18 I was a Long Distance Operator while going to Ohio State and one day Bobby Hatfield got off the plane in Columbus when he was supposed to stay on the flight to get to Cleveland. After an hour he realized he got off at the wrong stop over so, as the operator who was lucky enough to catch his call, I had to link him to his agency and the Port Columbus reservation desk so we could get him to where he was going for a concert. While I tried to keep him calm he kept me in stitches. At that time the airport was in the middle of nowhere and he thought he got dropped off in a cow pasture.

@@LaurelT1948 Too bad it was over the phone; however, he did ask if I wanted to come to the airport to share a cow patty and glass of milk so he could thank me before his connecting flight arrived. He definitely had a sense of humor.
