oh man.. if you're creating the stuffed animal then do it before it's all stitched up -- if it's a stuffed animal you've already got, you may want to snip it open so that you can get to the back of the part you want to embroider. Hope this helps.

Emily N Yes! you would probably want a stabilizer and be sure not to stretch the shirt fabric and you should be good

Do you just use an ink pen to make your pattern on the fabric?
Rachel Mulligan This particular piece is ink because a friend of mine screen printed the pattern. but lately I just use pencil!
