And the trucks are properly branded. That was one of my peeves of 2005. This mod is great!!
Race as clean as you can in the Modifieds, then when you move up to the Truck series where they do throw cautions you can beat and bang as much as you want. Don't worry about qualifying either, especially in the Cup series. It's not like the old points system where every point matters, In fact you probably should start in last every race for the challenge because this game is piss easy even on Legend difficulty (I still love it so). Just consistently finish up front and don't make too many mistakes, but because this game is so easy there's no reason you shouldn't sweep every race in the Modified series. I will tell you what REALLY makes or breaks your driver in this game is your setups and yours stink. (BTW you'll get your first testing session after five victories, so start kicking ass right now).

Nope
I really like Mimniku's compromise of using only the first lap of qualifying, but that doesn't work in 05
GameCube games often were the best looking/performing versions of the three consoles at the time, since the GG was the most powerful system then. As far as emulation, Dolphin is miles ahead of PCSX2 and Xemu so NASCAR 2005 CFTC runs the best there too.
Good on ya for actually Modding the game to make the Career Mode more realistic! Didn’t take long! Can’t wait till you get to the Cup Series to FINALLY have Jeremy Mayfield and Ken Schrader in the game! Have fun in London Radman!

I believe Levi Strauss is based on the old Concord speedway. Cup cars used to test there a lot. recently got turned into apartments sadly.
I thought Levi Strauss speedway was based off Disney World speedway since it has a Ferris wheel in the background.
The only sanction to race at levi strauss/concord speedway are the modified and arca series only

I loved racing at Levi Strauss Speedway on this game because its based on the real life track called Concord speedway in Concord, NC

Don't worry about racing dirty in the Modifieds worry about it in the Trucks, Busch, and Cup series

I remember ‘08 had a “fantasy track”that was a Nazareth clone and you could run the access road wide open and if you did a 50%race you could lap second by 7 laps running the access road in the mods
I'm glad you posted this with the mods. I assumed they didn't work in fight to the top mode. I guess I installed them wrong.

I have a genuine question for emulator stuff. What emulator do you use? I'm using xemu and I have been having issues with thunder and chase for the cups performance and I've been debating on looking for a better emulator any suggestions are welcome
I believe he's said he uses Dolphin Emulator.
Dolphin is the go to emulator for Dirt to Daytona, NT2003, and N2005 CFTC. It's also the only place you can get texture pack upgrades via NRCDesigns and Baguette's work

20:46 hahaha. I thought Levi Strauss signature speedway was easier in Modifies. It was certainly much harder with Cup cars and Busch cars. Too many cars on the track and so little laps.

I’d like to see you do the whole career mode without qualifying. You don’t have to win the modifieds championship to get in the truck series, if you get consistent finishes you’ll get there soon enough
