A few end of series fun facts - Anne is dead, the Anne who goes back to earth is in fact a clone. Matt said he wanted to honour her sacrifice and not undo it - Anne is the only Disney protagonist to properly die - the clone Anne has her shoe on the other foot - Sprig is the only member of the main cast who never touched the calamity box - Yunan and Olivia got married during the time skip - Toadie and Toadstool are also a thing but I'm not sure if they tied the knot or not - adult Anne has a hairtie with leaves on it, a nod to the debris that just wouldn't leave her alone in Amphibia - Matt said that when Anne says goodbye to the Plantars it's with hope that she'll see them again - even though Matt claims to be done with Amphibia he has toyed with the idea of a spin-off featuring Sprig and company exploring the new continent outside of Amphibia - according to the guardian Anne will die at 93 and become God - the day before this episode aired there was a lunar eclipse that turned the moon red - Matt Braly says that this is his favourite episode of the series

Another thing to point out is that the finale confirms that Sasha is Bi, like how the tweet playfully teased. For proof, look at her car mirror and you'll see two stickers; one of her famous swords and the other being the Bi heart
Everytime I see the scene where Sprig and Anne hug I have to hold my tears. Just how beautiful the animation is and the piano at the background makes everything just so sad to watch, but seeing Anne go away while Sprig still has his hand up, I just can't with that and end up dropping a tear.
You're only dropping a tear, while I'm bawling my eyes out. :D I've never cried as much as I have done with this show. It just hits me real deep. So beautiful!
That scene was the most beautiful scene i have ever seen. The music, the circling shot, and the emotions of 3 seasons worth. Makes me cry every time 😢 😭 🤧
And I thought "True Colors" was intense. This was just... damn. Everything about this episode made it the perfect finale. The girls' battle against the Core with "No Big Deal" playing in the background, Andrias finally standing up to his father with the same Iine Anne used against Sasha, Anne's sacrifice and tremendous character development, everyone's tearful goodbyes, and everyone being in the best possible place at the end. It's all so heartfelt and perfectly bittersweet. Matt Braly and his team really made something special, here, and it's been a blast watching you experience it for the first time. 😊
"That's the thing about friends, isn't it? The more you love them, the more it hurts when they go." - King Andrias, True Colors I really feel like this quote can apply to Amphibia itself, and other shows too. It'll apply to The Owl House soon.
But it's that pain that is proof of how much that love for them meant to you. To never be regretful but be thankful and treasure the time you have with them.
Amphibia was truly a one of a kind show, with how unique the characters and their respective story arcs were, this show always went above and beyond to warm our hearts and grief them at the same time. This show has been the only show to ever make me cry and the only show that I've made a quote board for, I will never forget the things I learned from this show with how much I relate to Anne. She taught me so many things about myself and that even if things get bad there is always a way out, and you might not like that way but its the right thing to do. I could go on and on about how much Amphibia means to me so I'll just end it with Thank you Matt Braly and Amphibia Crew, you guys made something far greater than any treasure and we are too lucky to have this show, and Mike thanks for watching it I enjoyed seeing your reactions to this show and now I find myself enjoying other reactions on your channel your a fun guy to be around Im so happy I found your channel this way, cant wait for the reaction tomorrow ❤
So at age 91, Anne is gonna become a multiverse god? And she still gets to have a mostly normal life till then. THAT’S FREAKING CRAZY and AWESOME!!!! P.S. If Sprig gets a spin-off show, it should *totally* end with him seeing Anne after exploring the new continent.
Its 91 when she dies 13+78, plus its not guaranteed that she'll say yes to becoming a god, only if she feels worthy of the position after living her life.
It's really bittersweet so see my favorite show end as well your reactions, amphibia's finale was definitely one of my top favorites! Anne's speech about change was one of the best speechs I've ever heard

King Andrias was an amazing character in the show. He finally had the courage from Leif’s letter to stand up to his outrageous, tyrannical father and help the girls fight back. Andrias is finally free from toxic manipulation and can spend the rest of his life healing the land he once destroyed under the Core’s rule and live a happy, peaceful life. I like how in the epilogue he has mementos of Leif, Barrel, and Marcy. I’m glad Marcy was still willing to say goodbye to him after what he did to her. Marcy and Andrias’s relationship in the beginning was truly genuine and heartwarming, until it all went downhill. He truly regrets everything he did and wants to atone his mistakes. He might never forgive himself for his actions, but it’s better late than never to make the right decision. Truly outstanding performance Keith David put into this character. He’s truly a treasure when it comes to voice acting. This was the greatest cartoon I’ve ever watched.
You and me both. In my head I had the show tied for second place of my favorite show of all time. But the more I watch it, and think about it. Now it's tied for first place. And I'm storytelling fanatic! I've watched countless shows and movies. But this. It's pure gold!
Man,I can't belive this is a final reaction.What a wild ride it was.I think this episode perfectly closed the entire series with a beatiful message and answering all the questions we have left. This show may not be my favourite cartoon but it will always hold a special place in my heart
Those of us who saw this on TV when it aired had to endure something you didn't...an entire commercial break right after Anne faded away. Easily the longest commercial break I've suffered through in my life.
This show truly is one of a kind. Definitely in my top favorites. I hadn’t cried as hard as I did (while watching a show wise) while watching The Hardest Thing since watching Take Back The Falls all the way back in 2016. It’s been a journey re-experiencing Amphibia with you! Can’t wait for future reactions.
Matt Braly said he's not opposed to making a spinoff sequel series sometime in the future. "With where and how the finale leaves off, the door is left somewhat open for certain content. I'd be totally excited to revisit that stuff, but not until after a long break." He stated that the main-focus character would likely be Polly
You can tell when a show was made with love, care and passion when you get your heart ripped at the notion that it's about to end. It happened to me with Adventure Time, it happened once again here with Amphibia. These are the kind of series that will stuck with you for the rest of your life, not just as a fond memory.... But as an experience that changed who you are how you view the world around you. I will be forever grateful to Matt Braly and his team for creating such a beautiful animated show. Thank you Amphibia, thank you for being a part of my life.
Also... I want to add something here for you Mikey..... Did you notice this narrative Parallel?..... In the Season 1 Finale Sasha almost Died... In the Season 2 Finale Marcy Presumably Died..... And here in the Season 3 Finale Anne actually Died.... Although she was brought back as a perfect copy of herself (or well.... Almost perfect copy i should say... If you look closely you will notice that the Anne that was brought back is missing a shoe in her left foot, while the Anne we've been following since the beginning had always been missing the shoe of her right foot). Very cool and fascinating details right?

It's been such a joyful ride, I'm so glad you got to experience this show, and that you enjoyed it so much. It's probably my favorite cartoon ever, I cannot even put into words how much it means to me. In It's message of change and love through everything, it's helped me a lot during this period of my life. The girls fighting against the Core always has me smiling and cheering, the visuals, the anime inspired fight, the beautiful rendition of No Big Deal, all 3 of them working together finally, it's everything to me. Anne's sacrifice always gets me, her love for this world enough to give her own life to save it, the talk with Sprig in space destroys me, their friendship means so much. The goodbye also like, leaves me actively sobbing without fail everytime, for all 3 of them, but especially the Plantars', Anne looking fondly at Polly while imagining the future her she won't get to see, Hop Pop's promise of always having a place for her at their home, and Sprig... just everything about them, god, when he hugs Anne before they leave, devastating, whoever storyboarded that needs jailtime for emotional terrorism. And the time skips aghhhhh, I love Polly's design so much too, and seeing your year long feud with the Mayor reach it's conclusion was great. Seeing how Wartwood is doing (it's a 1 year timeskip btw!) is wonderful, and seeing Yunan and Olivia is great, love those 2. And the girls gooooddd, Marcy being an artist as a response to her child prodigy status is perfect, no longer restraint by the expectations that come with it. Sasha, a former child who needed help, now helping kids overcome their traumas and problems is beautiful. And Anne channeling her love for Amphibia, and becoming a herpetologist despite having been a barely passing grades student once, god it's so perfect, so moving. I'm happy you've enjoyed it as much as you did, you've been a great person to see react to things, and I'll definitely keep checking out stuff, I haven't been on the Vox Machina stuff cause I haven't caught up but expect to see me there eventually, it's been great. Thank you!
I'm not super emotive, but this is definitely a finale that really gets to me. So sweet, touching and gives everyone closure. And as others have said it didn't chicken out and save Anne, it committed to her sacrifice and gave something more.
This show means a lot to me. This is the only show/ep that’s made me cry consistently. I usually cry the first or second and never again but after 6-7 “viewings” it still gets me. Especially Sprig, holding his hat so hard, struggling intensely with having to let Anne go. I don’t know why but that moment hits me really hard and is definitely my favorite moment.
Off topic but when the hell did I become a member? I don’t really know how memberships work but I thought you had to buy it. I would love to support the channel but I don’t really have much disposable income. Is it like a twitch sub and gifted to me? And if so thank you too whoever did it.
I like that Anne made all of the habits look like what she saw in Amphibia. The frogs having huts like in Wartwood. The toads have a tower. And a cave system like Proteus for the olms. Didn't really see it, but I'm sure that the newts were set up in a place that looks like Newtopia. Marcy's Journal, which was released late last year fills in a lot more details about the series.

2nd time going on this emotional Rollercoaster. This show was the absolute best and I will never forget it. The characters, and their relationships and the culmination of it all. After finishing it first time I was just in a funk because I couldn't believe it was all over and I didn't know what to do. Thats how powerful this story was

So, a brief meta musing- it's not entirely clear if the invasion happened on Anne's birthday or not, since notably there was no blatant mention of it being her birthday in the actual present day events of the episode... BUT, Sasha and Marcy do mention in the time skip at the end that it's the ten year anniversary of the invasion, and also bring her birthday gifts. So I propose that Sasha and Marcy are (just amongst themselves) actually celebrating the day of her REbirth, after her death in this episode.
I’m not the kind of guy who usually cries, but this finale is the closest I’ve come to crying from a show since the gravity falls finale first aired. Overall, this has become my third favorite show (only behind gravity falls and arcane). Been cool watching you react to it since the beginning. Onto the next shows.

A detail that I like, that nobody really comments on, is how Anne revealed the backup plan to the other girls. Not only did she leave it to the last moment so they didn't have time to think it through, she also said she "may die", but when talking to Mother Olm she said "will die". The way I read that is that she has no expectation of surviving if she uses all three stones, but she had to give them some hope because she knows if she admitted that to Sasha and Marcy, or gave them time to think about it they'd probably try to stop her or maybe even take her place.
The floating island Anne was on after she dies appears in a painting on her bedroom wall, which you can see in some of the earlier Season 3 episodes. This show was so well crafted!

The letter Leif wrote to Andrias tells me that they were more than just friends I think they loved each other Andrias blushes and looked away during Leifs dance, the secret messages to each other, Andrias the frist to rush to Leif after she fell to her hands and knees after the vission, the worried look on his face, Leif crying into Andrias, Andrias the one that took her betrayl the hardest and his blushing tears in his eyes and scraming her name when she left, and Leif dubbing her self as "your Leif" and her calling him my derest Andrias and saying I wish my love will reach you. Also in the painting Andrias and Leif are looking at eachother and there is a art that Matt Braly did Andrias Berral and Leif are back together and they are on his sholders and Andrias and Leif are looking at eachother. There was and still is something more than just friendship between Andrias and Leif.
If you would’ve told me a show about a talking frog and a human teenager girl going adventures was the premise I would’ve passed it over but through and through I saw something truly special we learned how to love ourselves and learn that change is hard but necessary for us to grow as people truly remarkable show bravo Amphibia
A really bittersweet ending but an excellent way to end it. Like you said, it's realistic how the three girls drifted apart, but it makes it so much more impactful when they still come back together even after a decade. Even when we can't see what their lives will be like at this point, I hope the three of them continue to be great friends and make their relationships stronger. And gosh, even though I watched the ending scenes so many times, I STILL feel super emotional and want to cry every time... Congrats on finishing Amphibia! Watching you react to this series was an enjoyable and emotional ride. And if you still miss Amphibia, you should check out Marcy's Journal!!

I would highly recommend getting Marcy's Journal if you love Amphibia! It's a companion piece that adds a lot of context to the story and lore and you get to find out what Marcy was up to during season 1!

Even though i have watched the ending of amphibia a few times I still cried a lot. not as much as the first time but still a good amount. Man I will miss your reactions to amphibia. I am so proud of Andrias he has been through so much pain his father never loved him he only wanted him to do what he and his ansestors did take over worlds and Aldrich made him believe his friends were going to use him and take advatige of him which when Leif and Berral betrayed him he belived and the Core controled him and provented him in finding happyness again but when Marcy came into his life he kinda did untill the Core wanted him to kill her but he did not want to then the Core wanted to posses her but he did not want the Core to do that to Marcy that is when he started to see that the Core his father and ancestors where bad people and he was starting to regret it he really made a change when Sprig read Leifs letter that he started to think apout all the mistakes that he made and that his friends Berral Leif and Marcy never left his side and they were always his friends and the moment where he destroyd his crown and stood up for him self is a incredable moment for him he basicly freed him self from his father and the Core and now he is no longer the King free from his fathers and the Cores control free to be his own person and free to open up his heart to love again just like he did with Leif and Berral and of corese Marcy
Great Reaction for The Last Episode of Amphibia I Almost cried for These Scenes😭Almost Last Year, I Still Miss The Series Amphibia (2019-2022) and Now I'm Be Ready To Say Goodbye of The Owl House in 15 Days Left
Amphibia is a really special and unique show, and it all comes down to how much respect is payed to each of its character and its overall narrative. Is it perfect? no but there are very few shows I can think of that have this level of care and attention to so many aspects of them. To the point that it grow and morph so wildly from where it started, and damn that final moment and message it ends on is just so perfect to tie everything together. Also this show and Kipo, which I know you're getting to soonish, are two of the only shows high on my personal list that I feel have very solid well crafted stories, that end with such finality, and feel so complete by the end.......but damn do I wish we could get some kind of sequel series, these stories are over but their worlds are so primed with potential. With Amphibia maybe something with Sprig and Ivey or something, and with Kipo...well I cant exactly spoil that. But, yep what a show and a journey to get here.
I just wanted to let you know, in case no one has let you know, there is more Amphibia content. It’s not something you can watch, but they released Marcy’s Journal last December and it reveals everything Marcy was doing in Amphibia up until meeting up with Anne again and then it shows her POV of things that happened in episodes or things she learned from Anne all the way up to the end of the series. It’s a great read and reveals a lot of interesting facts about the show and honestly made me love Marcy as a character even more ^^

What I thought about: They cannot make another portal from earth to Amphibia because last time Anne powered it up to be big enough and Anne does not have her powers anymore. But they could make it big enough so that the leg of that one thing could fit through, so theoretically they could still once in a while open that one and deop messages through. Anne and Sprig could be pen pals
Sprig crying in this episode always gets me 😢 also what I would love to see in the future is like reactions to Marcys journal it's a great book total recommend it's so sad to see no more amphibia reactions after this but hopefully they make a spin off in the future bc I would love to see you reacting to that I might check out ur owl house reactions since I love that show aswelll
I've watched a lot of legendary shows Like Gravity falls, Avatar, Adventure time and there a lot more But for me, none can match the Amphibia This show is definitely the best

Because of creators like you, I'm finding new things to watch. Yes, I watched Gravity Falls and Amphibia before you, I knew what was coming, but I've also seen other things on your channel that interest me. Nah, I'm not going anywhere any time soon.
Amphibia is by far my favourite show I've watched, I've never felt such an emotional impact before I still tear up just thinking about it. You should definitely get and read Marcy's Journal, it's official and shows a lot of stuff that happens during the show such as what Marcy was up to during season one and also has a lot of Anne reflecting on things while on earth in season 3, I highly recommend it, and it would kinda be cool to get a video of you talking about your thoughts after reading it, or maybe doing a livestream after reading it like you did after Gravity Falls. Regardless I've loved seeing your reactions and am excited to keep watching your reactions to other shows.
I don’t know what all to say, this is just the perfect send off of a Show like this. It’s up with the greats in the whole world. That Genuinely made me feel extreme emotions. This is just perfect and I mean it you told me five days ago when I found your channel by accident that I would go through two of the best Television Shows in five days, grow to find my new favorite youtuber, find extreme emotion in the way you carry these shows out in these videos, and lastly it you said I would watch 99 videos from the same person in a row, I’d have called you crazy. Thats also it, this marks the Ninety Ninth video of yours i’ve watched ever. I’m starting Owl house tomorrow because it’s 1 in the morning when I am and I have to wake up in five hours. There’s just so much to say. But whenever I start Owl house it will be different than any other videos of yours i’ve seen. I started watching you with gravity falls six days ago (I know I said Five days just a minute ago but i’m not gonna change it because you know) Six days ago I watched the gravity falls videos and kinda skipped the dippers guide video, so that’s 37 videos, but I did that to rewatch Gravity Falls I had Already seen it and then I wanted to watch it again but in your eyes. Then I watched your 3 Hazbin Hotel Videos, but again that was me rewatching Hazbin Hotel through your eyes. Now that together is 40 videos, and after watching all 59 of these Amphibia episodes that adds everything up to 99 videos of yours i’ve watched. But even with Amphibia i had already seen it. Now tomorrow im watching Owl house, so episode one of owl house will be the 100th video of yours i’ve watched in six days. but what makes it special is i’ve not watched owl house. So It won’t be me rewatching it through you, I’ll be watching it alongside you. Wow is all I can say, I know you make these videos because you want to have fun. But you don’t realize the amazing impact you’ve had on me in just a week, I genuinely Can’t thank you enough, thank you. If I’m remembering correctly, Matt confirmed that the Amphibia time skip was about 9 months while the Earth one was of course 10 years- which is crazy convenient, considering you’ve been reacting to this for about 9 months!
Also through Marcy's diary we found out that through the 10 year age gap Terry(i think that was her name, the scientist) and Mr X made another portal but there wasnt enough power to fully open it. Even though it didnt work, they are still continuing research to try and fully make a portal back to Amphibia
@MikeyVenture I think the creator said he's open to a spinoff after a long break. If you caught in the finale ivy and sprig set off to a new continent that is untouched by any frog, toad, or newt. That would be a cool spinoff of exploring an entire new continent with "The cutest couple in wartwood!"
Now that I think about it. The core and eldrich knew exactly what Leif was talking about when she talked about prophecy. They already had those things set up on moon.
Andrias was never the king but a prisoner of The Core his father isolated him and and made him think his frinds abandond him and they were never his friends but Leifs letter blew that lie right out of the water despite everything that happend Leif never stoped loving Andrias she never stoped being his friend
So I recently started watching this and the owl house, and by recently I mean the last couple months. These shows just came out too late for me. I grew up with Gravity Falls. That show is my childhood but these shows came out at a time where I wasn’t watching much tv. I also thought they were going to similar to Star vs the forces of evil which is a show I don’t like at all. So I never watched them. And I regret that. I’d had heard so much positivity about The owl house that I knew I had to at least give it a chance and I did. I think it’s a good show. Of course i have problems with it but I don’t blame the creators on those problems. So yeah I liked it but when I got caught up I knew I had to give amphibia a chance too and I really didn’t want to watch this show. I had seen a little bit of the show like a few clips and what I saw wasn’t that good but I still gave it a chance. The first season I have to say I don’t really like. Unlike with owl house ,which I also didn’t care for at first, I didn’t have a character I could really grab on to you know. With the owl house I instantly love King and Hooty especially Hooty. He is what kept me watching the show and is my favorite character next to Hunter. But for amphibia I didn’t have that character. So I thought it was going to suck but boy was I wrong. So season 1 didn’t care for the only reason I continued was for the little bit of story in the latter half of the season and as a horror fan I loved all the little horror type stuff it had. The final episode had me hooked and I was excited to start season 2 which was surprising to me . but, I was instantly turned off when I found out it was going to be a road trip season which in my opinion is one of the laziest ways to tell a story, but I was once again surprised that it wasn’t that bad. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t love the first couple of episodes but I also didn’t hate them. Now for episode 5 I can’t tell you how surprised I was with that episode. When it started they had a small joke in there that made me laugh and say “is that a jab at gravity falls.” I thought that would be it just a small jab but nope they had a full on crossover and I loved it. And every episode after that was amazing. The story was great the characters were great and the Comedy was actually making me laugh. Too a point that I will without a doubt say that season 2 and 3 of amphibia is a better show than The Owl house and that’s saying something. I do have some problems like Sprig and Ivy’s relationship was kind of annoying in the latter half of season 3 but besides that and some nitpicks I thought the show was great. The ending I felt was fantastic and gave me similar emotions to the gravity falls finale just not as strong. Do I think amphibia and owl house are better than gravity fall? No never not even close but they were never going to be in my eyes. Gravity Falls came out at the right point in my life. I was in elementary when it came out and it impacted my life. The finale being about growing up in a time where I was close to heading to middle school was important to me and nothing will ever give me the emotions that show gave me and that’s ok. I’m 17 now and in high school and getting closer to starting my dream of making movies. And it warms my heart that some kid out there will watch Amphibia’s finale and have this emotional connection to it the same way I did with gravity falls and I love that. Same goes for The Owl House which I’ll probably make a comment about that show when it ends and hopefully it ends good and I think it will and it’ll also impact the lives of many kids like Gravity Falls did for me! Sorry for the long comment I just kinda wanted to talk about my feelings for this show that I thought was going to be garbage but found that it was a good show with great emotional moments.
tbh them killing anne would have been the most emotional thing ever, maybe even too emotional like even now rewaching it know what will happen it makes me tear up just seeing anne fade away and while at the time i thought it would have been better for anne to actually die to show how its not always a happy ending but rn, i prefer them bringing her back
The voice behind the Deity is Charlene Yi, whom many might recognize as Chloe Park from We Bare Bears and Ruby (as in ALL the Rubies) from Steven Universe. Also, according to Matt; five months passed on Amphibia after the girls left
This series for me was the hardest for me to get involved in. I didn’t have such a problem with gravity falls or the owl house. This one just took a bit to get invested in. For me to watch this it literally took for me to lose connection to Disney+ as I lose it in about five months. But I don’t regret finishing Amphibia. You’re right Mikey, everything that we went through the slow start to the the crawling buildup. Everything culminates in this last season for an all out ending that we will never forget.
BEST ENDING OF ANY CARTOON EVER (for now, cause we still have the owl house, we'll see) IT DEFINETLEY IS ONE OF THE BEST AT ANY POINT IN TIME IN HISTORY OF CARTOONS. and I just gotta say that I love the way they conveyed the massage of letting go with the three girls. they wanted to cling to their friendship so bad at first, no matter how flawed it was, but eventually decided that it's better for them to have that distance.
I got to say seeing you slowly fall in with eachother character in the show reminds me the first time I watched it. I thought it we’ll be just anther show from Disney that episodic show with not story. It didn’t expect to fall in love with a show that had frogs of all things! But boy was I wrong! I loved Sprig, Polly, Hop Hop, Anne, Sasha, Marcy and so on! Matt embraced the lesson he wanted to tell to his audience young and old. He didn’t shy from it even when at moments he concerned it but no! He wanted to teach us the most important lesson of life. Change is inedible but if you accept change it can grow you to a stronger preson. Everyone left Amphibia stronger then ever even Marcy (my personal favorite) and no one was the same in a good way. Expect the Core! The Core is the prime example to run from change. To hide and think they can control everything! The fear of being irrelevant (like Marcy said.) honestly I didn’t like Sasha as much till the more I knew her character the more I started to love her! I love everything in this show frog dang it! We need more shows like this that tell a story and embrace the lesson there trying to teach! Story’s that anyone can watch no matter how lord or young you are (expect probably pre schoolers maybe but still.) This show helped me realize I’m a new man then I was yesterday or last year. We all change and we all grow! I can just talk about this show all day but this we’ll be probably 10000 words or something. All I have to say is man…welcome to Wartwood my friend. 😁
I've been watching your amphibia reactions since the very first episode, and it's been an amazing journey I tell you! It was very exciting to see how you fell in love with the show and its characters. You are one of my favorite reaction channels at the moment, if not THE favorite, so I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!(so excited for infinity train season 3, you have no idea dhjdsj) I know you said you wanted to limit your reactions to just a few series at once but I would still like to recommend Lego Monkie Kid as a show. It deserves a lot more attention imo, so if you could at least consider it, it would be very cool and awesome I think😼. Anyway, amphibia is a very special show, and they couldn't have made the ending better, it's one of the best animation finales out there(fr I was bawling like a baby). The space battle feels like it was made by Studio Trigger. Also I love the rendition of "It's No Big Deal" I cried for about an hour when I watched this episode (I also had something personal to cry about that night, but the episode definitely made me cry more)
Marcy's Journal the book that got released some time after the last episode. Gives a Season 1 from the perspective of Marcy, and it is INCREDIBLY well written, But it also touches some details about the perspective of Marcy again on Season 2 and since Anne got the journal on season 3 we see some of her as well BUT most importantly it touches some more on the 10 years later situation before Marcy reunites again with the girls... SPOILERS for the end of the book: It is also said on the book that Mr.X and Terri have been working on a new portal that can access Amphibia and at the end of the book it is hinted that they succeeded!! Calling all 3 girls to come and check it out, meaning that we can either continue the story ourselves OR perhaps a sequel movie in the far far future
Greetings Mikey. Did you notice that when Anne was resurrected by The Cosmic Domino that she's missing her shoe on the left foot instead of her right? Making more of a mystery as to whether she is the original Anne or an Anne clone. There might be a hint inside Marcy's journal, but there's also mention of this in The unofficial sequel fan comic to the series that's currently running online. Also you might want to go to the final credits one more time to catch the updated BFF picture the girls took when they went out celebrating Anne's Birthday. Do note the three drinks around the picture.

Another thing to point out is that the finale confirms that Sasha is Bi, like how the tweet playfully teased.
For proof, look at her car mirror and you'll see two stickers; one of her famous swords and the other being the Bi heart
Not completely true, Anne isn't set in stone to become God when she dies. She will have the choice.
Everytime I see the scene where Sprig and Anne hug I have to hold my tears. Just how beautiful the animation is and the piano at the background makes everything just so sad to watch, but seeing Anne go away while Sprig still has his hand up, I just can't with that and end up dropping a tear.
You're only dropping a tear, while I'm bawling my eyes out. :D I've never cried as much as I have done with this show. It just hits me real deep. So beautiful!

And I thought "True Colors" was intense. This was just... damn. Everything about this episode made it the perfect finale. The girls' battle against the Core with "No Big Deal" playing in the background, Andrias finally standing up to his father with the same Iine Anne used against Sasha, Anne's sacrifice and tremendous character development, everyone's tearful goodbyes, and everyone being in the best possible place at the end. It's all so heartfelt and perfectly bittersweet. Matt Braly and his team really made something special, here, and it's been a blast watching you experience it for the first time. 😊

Amphibia was truly a one of a kind show, with how unique the characters and their respective story arcs were, this show always went above and beyond to warm our hearts and grief them at the same time. This show has been the only show to ever make me cry and the only show that I've made a quote board for, I will never forget the things I learned from this show with how much I relate to Anne. She taught me so many things about myself and that even if things get bad there is always a way out, and you might not like that way but its the right thing to do. I could go on and on about how much Amphibia means to me so I'll just end it with

Its 91 when she dies 13+78, plus its not guaranteed that she'll say yes to becoming a god, only if she feels worthy of the position after living her life.

King Andrias was an amazing character in the show. He finally had the courage from Leif’s letter to stand up to his outrageous, tyrannical father and help the girls fight back. Andrias is finally free from toxic manipulation and can spend the rest of his life healing the land he once destroyed under the Core’s rule and live a happy, peaceful life. I like how in the epilogue he has mementos of Leif, Barrel, and Marcy. I’m glad Marcy was still willing to say goodbye to him after what he did to her. Marcy and Andrias’s relationship in the beginning was truly genuine and heartwarming, until it all went downhill. He truly regrets everything he did and wants to atone his mistakes. He might never forgive himself for his actions, but it’s better late than never to make the right decision. Truly outstanding performance Keith David put into this character. He’s truly a treasure when it comes to voice acting. This was the greatest cartoon I’ve ever watched.
You and me both. In my head I had the show tied for second place of my favorite show of all time. But the more I watch it, and think about it. Now it's tied for first place. And I'm storytelling fanatic! I've watched countless shows and movies. But this. It's pure gold!

You can tell when a show was made with love, care and passion when you get your heart ripped at the notion that it's about to end.
It happened to me with Adventure Time, it happened once again here with Amphibia.
These are the kind of series that will stuck with you for the rest of your life, not just as a fond memory.... But as an experience that changed who you are how you view the world around you. I will be forever grateful to Matt Braly and his team for creating such a beautiful animated show.

(or well.... Almost perfect copy i should say... If you look closely you will notice that the Anne that was brought back is missing a shoe in her left foot, while the Anne we've been following since the beginning had always been missing the shoe of her right foot).

I’m so proud of them it’s all beautiful.
It's been such a joyful ride, I'm so glad you got to experience this show, and that you enjoyed it so much. It's probably my favorite cartoon ever, I cannot even put into words how much it means to me. In It's message of change and love through everything, it's helped me a lot during this period of my life. The girls fighting against the Core always has me smiling and cheering, the visuals, the anime inspired fight, the beautiful rendition of No Big Deal, all 3 of them working together finally, it's everything to me. Anne's sacrifice always gets me, her love for this world enough to give her own life to save it, the talk with Sprig in space destroys me, their friendship means so much. The goodbye also like, leaves me actively sobbing without fail everytime, for all 3 of them, but especially the Plantars', Anne looking fondly at Polly while imagining the future her she won't get to see, Hop Pop's promise of always having a place for her at their home, and Sprig... just everything about them, god, when he hugs Anne before they leave, devastating, whoever storyboarded that needs jailtime for emotional terrorism.
And the time skips aghhhhh, I love Polly's design so much too, and seeing your year long feud with the Mayor reach it's conclusion was great. Seeing how Wartwood is doing (it's a 1 year timeskip btw!) is wonderful, and seeing Yunan and Olivia is great, love those 2.
And the girls gooooddd, Marcy being an artist as a response to her child prodigy status is perfect, no longer restraint by the expectations that come with it. Sasha, a former child who needed help, now helping kids overcome their traumas and problems is beautiful. And Anne channeling her love for Amphibia, and becoming a herpetologist despite having been a barely passing grades student once, god it's so perfect, so moving.
I'm happy you've enjoyed it as much as you did, you've been a great person to see react to things, and I'll definitely keep checking out stuff, I haven't been on the Vox Machina stuff cause I haven't caught up but expect to see me there eventually, it's been great. Thank you!

I'm not super emotive, but this is definitely a finale that really gets to me. So sweet, touching and gives everyone closure.
And as others have said it didn't chicken out and save Anne, it committed to her sacrifice and gave something more.
This show means a lot to me. This is the only show/ep that’s made me cry consistently. I usually cry the first or second and never again but after 6-7 “viewings” it still gets me. Especially Sprig, holding his hat so hard, struggling intensely with having to let Anne go. I don’t know why but that moment hits me really hard and is definitely my favorite moment.
Off topic but when the hell did I become a member? I don’t really know how memberships work but I thought you had to buy it. I would love to support the channel but I don’t really have much disposable income. Is it like a twitch sub and gifted to me? And if so thank you too whoever did it.
I like that Anne made all of the habits look like what she saw in Amphibia. The frogs having huts like in Wartwood. The toads have a tower. And a cave system like Proteus for the olms. Didn't really see it, but I'm sure that the newts were set up in a place that looks like Newtopia.

2nd time going on this emotional Rollercoaster. This show was the absolute best and I will never forget it. The characters, and their relationships and the culmination of it all. After finishing it first time I was just in a funk because I couldn't believe it was all over and I didn't know what to do. Thats how powerful this story was

So, a brief meta musing- it's not entirely clear if the invasion happened on Anne's birthday or not, since notably there was no blatant mention of it being her birthday in the actual present day events of the episode... BUT, Sasha and Marcy do mention in the time skip at the end that it's the ten year anniversary of the invasion, and also bring her birthday gifts. So I propose that Sasha and Marcy are (just amongst themselves) actually celebrating the day of her REbirth, after her death in this episode.

A detail that I like, that nobody really comments on, is how Anne revealed the backup plan to the other girls. Not only did she leave it to the last moment so they didn't have time to think it through, she also said she "may die", but when talking to Mother Olm she said "will die".
The way I read that is that she has no expectation of surviving if she uses all three stones, but she had to give them some hope because she knows if she admitted that to Sasha and Marcy, or gave them time to think about it they'd probably try to stop her or maybe even take her place.
It was amazing being here from the beginning last summer to know being at the end. I loved this series so much, thank for reacting to this show!!
The floating island Anne was on after she dies appears in a painting on her bedroom wall, which you can see in some of the earlier Season 3 episodes. This show was so well crafted!

The letter Leif wrote to Andrias tells me that they were more than just friends I think they loved each other Andrias blushes and looked away during Leifs dance, the secret messages to each other, Andrias the frist to rush to Leif after she fell to her hands and knees after the vission, the worried look on his face, Leif crying into Andrias, Andrias the one that took her betrayl the hardest and his blushing tears in his eyes and scraming her name when she left, and Leif dubbing her self as "your Leif" and her calling him my derest Andrias and saying I wish my love will reach you. Also in the painting Andrias and Leif are looking at eachother and there is a art that Matt Braly did Andrias Berral and Leif are back together and they are on his sholders and Andrias and Leif are looking at eachother.
There was and still is something more than just friendship between Andrias and Leif.
It was def love. One way or another.

If you would’ve told me a show about a talking frog and a human teenager girl going adventures was the premise I would’ve passed it over but through and through I saw something truly special we learned how to love ourselves and learn that change is hard but necessary for us to grow as people truly remarkable show bravo Amphibia
A really bittersweet ending but an excellent way to end it. Like you said, it's realistic how the three girls drifted apart, but it makes it so much more impactful when they still come back together even after a decade. Even when we can't see what their lives will be like at this point, I hope the three of them continue to be great friends and make their relationships stronger.
And gosh, even though I watched the ending scenes so many times, I STILL feel super emotional and want to cry every time...

I am so proud of Andrias he has been through so much pain his father never loved him he only wanted him to do what he and his ansestors did take over worlds and Aldrich made him believe his friends were going to use him and take advatige of him which when Leif and Berral betrayed him he belived and the Core controled him and provented him in finding happyness again but when Marcy came into his life he kinda did untill the Core wanted him to kill her but he did not want to then the Core wanted to posses her but he did not want the Core to do that to Marcy that is when he started to see that the Core his father and ancestors where bad people and he was starting to regret it he really made a change when Sprig read Leifs letter that he started to think apout all the mistakes that he made and that his friends Berral Leif and Marcy never left his side and they were always his friends and the moment where he destroyd his crown and stood up for him self is a incredable moment for him he basicly freed him self from his father and the Core and now he is no longer the King free from his fathers and the Cores control free to be his own person and free to open up his heart to love again just like he did with Leif and Berral and of corese Marcy
It was a beautiful moment. The paralels between him and Anne. And the voice acting. On another level!

Amphibia is a really special and unique show, and it all comes down to how much respect is payed to each of its character and its overall narrative. Is it perfect? no but there are very few shows I can think of that have this level of care and attention to so many aspects of them. To the point that it grow and morph so wildly from where it started, and damn that final moment and message it ends on is just so perfect to tie everything together. Also this show and Kipo, which I know you're getting to soonish, are two of the only shows high on my personal list that I feel have very solid well crafted stories, that end with such finality, and feel so complete by the end.......but damn do I wish we could get some kind of sequel series, these stories are over but their worlds are so primed with potential. With Amphibia maybe something with Sprig and Ivey or something, and with Kipo...well I cant exactly spoil that. But, yep what a show and a journey to get here.
I just wanted to let you know, in case no one has let you know, there is more Amphibia content. It’s not something you can watch, but they released Marcy’s Journal last December and it reveals everything Marcy was doing in Amphibia up until meeting up with Anne again and then it shows her POV of things that happened in episodes or things she learned from Anne all the way up to the end of the series.
It’s a great read and reveals a lot of interesting facts about the show and honestly made me love Marcy as a character even more ^^

What I thought about: They cannot make another portal from earth to Amphibia because last time Anne powered it up to be big enough and Anne does not have her powers anymore. But they could make it big enough so that the leg of that one thing could fit through, so theoretically they could still once in a while open that one and deop messages through. Anne and Sprig could be pen pals

Amphibia is by far my favourite show I've watched, I've never felt such an emotional impact before I still tear up just thinking about it. You should definitely get and read Marcy's Journal, it's official and shows a lot of stuff that happens during the show such as what Marcy was up to during season one and also has a lot of Anne reflecting on things while on earth in season 3, I highly recommend it, and it would kinda be cool to get a video of you talking about your thoughts after reading it, or maybe doing a livestream after reading it like you did after Gravity Falls. Regardless I've loved seeing your reactions and am excited to keep watching your reactions to other shows.
I don’t know what all to say, this is just the perfect send off of a Show like this. It’s up with the greats in the whole world. That Genuinely made me feel extreme emotions. This is just perfect and I mean it you told me five days ago when I found your channel by accident that I would go through two of the best Television Shows in five days, grow to find my new favorite youtuber, find extreme emotion in the way you carry these shows out in these videos, and lastly it you said I would watch 99 videos from the same person in a row, I’d have called you crazy. Thats also it, this marks the Ninety Ninth video of yours i’ve watched ever. I’m starting Owl house tomorrow because it’s 1 in the morning when I am and I have to wake up in five hours. There’s just so much to say. But whenever I start Owl house it will be different than any other videos of yours i’ve seen. I started watching you with gravity falls six days ago (I know I said Five days just a minute ago but i’m not gonna change it because you know) Six days ago I watched the gravity falls videos and kinda skipped the dippers guide video, so that’s 37 videos, but I did that to rewatch Gravity Falls I had Already seen it and then I wanted to watch it again but in your eyes. Then I watched your 3 Hazbin Hotel Videos, but again that was me rewatching Hazbin Hotel through your eyes. Now that together is 40 videos, and after watching all 59 of these Amphibia episodes that adds everything up to 99 videos of yours i’ve watched. But even with Amphibia i had already seen it. Now tomorrow im watching Owl house, so episode one of owl house will be the 100th video of yours i’ve watched in six days. but what makes it special is i’ve not watched owl house. So It won’t be me rewatching it through you, I’ll be watching it alongside you. Wow is all I can say, I know you make these videos because you want to have fun. But you don’t realize the amazing impact you’ve had on me in just a week, I genuinely Can’t thank you enough, thank you. Even though it didnt work, they are still continuing research to try and fully make a portal back to Amphibia

@MikeyVenture I think the creator said he's open to a spinoff after a long break. If you caught in the finale ivy and sprig set off to a new continent that is untouched by any frog, toad, or newt. That would be a cool spinoff of exploring an entire new continent with "The cutest couple in wartwood!"
Now that I think about it. The core and eldrich knew exactly what Leif was talking about when she talked about prophecy. They already had those things set up on moon.
Andrias was never the king but a prisoner of The Core his father isolated him and and made him think his frinds abandond him and they were never his friends but Leifs letter blew that lie right out of the water despite everything that happend Leif never stoped loving Andrias she never stoped being his friend
So I recently started watching this and the owl house, and by recently I mean the last couple months. These shows just came out too late for me. I grew up with Gravity Falls. That show is my childhood but these shows came out at a time where I wasn’t watching much tv. I also thought they were going to similar to Star vs the forces of evil which is a show I don’t like at all. So I never watched them. And I regret that. I’d had heard so much positivity about The owl house that I knew I had to at least give it a chance and I did. I think it’s a good show. Of course i have problems with it but I don’t blame the creators on those problems. So yeah I liked it but when I got caught up I knew I had to give amphibia a chance too and I really didn’t want to watch this show. I had seen a little bit of the show like a few clips and what I saw wasn’t that good but I still gave it a chance. The first season I have to say I don’t really like. Unlike with owl house ,which I also didn’t care for at first, I didn’t have a character I could really grab on to you know. With the owl house I instantly love King and Hooty especially Hooty. He is what kept me watching the show and is my favorite character next to Hunter. But for amphibia I didn’t have that character. So I thought it was going to suck but boy was I wrong. So season 1 didn’t care for the only reason I continued was for the little bit of story in the latter half of the season and as a horror fan I loved all the little horror type stuff it had. The final episode had me hooked and I was excited to start season 2 which was surprising to me . but, I was instantly turned off when I found out it was going to be a road trip season which in my opinion is one of the laziest ways to tell a story, but I was once again surprised that it wasn’t that bad. Don’t get me wrong I didn’t love the first couple of episodes but I also didn’t hate them. Now for episode 5 I can’t tell you how surprised I was with that episode. When it started they had a small joke in there that made me laugh and say “is that a jab at gravity falls.” I thought that would be it just a small jab but nope they had a full on crossover and I loved it. And every episode after that was amazing. The story was great the characters were great and the Comedy was actually making me laugh. Too a point that I will without a doubt say that season 2 and 3 of amphibia is a better show than The Owl house and that’s saying something. I do have some problems like Sprig and Ivy’s relationship was kind of annoying in the latter half of season 3 but besides that and some nitpicks I thought the show was great. The ending I felt was fantastic and gave me similar emotions to the gravity falls finale just not as strong. Do I think amphibia and owl house are better than gravity fall? No never not even close but they were never going to be in my eyes. Gravity Falls came out at the right point in my life. I was in elementary when it came out and it impacted my life. The finale being about growing up in a time where I was close to heading to middle school was important to me and nothing will ever give me the emotions that show gave me and that’s ok. I’m 17 now and in high school and getting closer to starting my dream of making movies. And it warms my heart that some kid out there will watch Amphibia’s finale and have this emotional connection to it the same way I did with gravity falls and I love that. Same goes for The Owl House which I’ll probably make a comment about that show when it ends and hopefully it ends good and I think it will and it’ll also impact the lives of many kids like Gravity Falls did for me! Sorry for the long comment I just kinda wanted to talk about my feelings for this show that I thought was going to be garbage but found that it was a good show with great emotional moments.
tbh them killing anne would have been the most emotional thing ever, maybe even too emotional like even now rewaching it know what will happen it makes me tear up just seeing anne fade away and while at the time i thought it would have been better for anne to actually die to show how its not always a happy ending but rn, i prefer them bringing her back

This series for me was the hardest for me to get involved in. I didn’t have such a problem with gravity falls or the owl house. This one just took a bit to get invested in. For me to watch this it literally took for me to lose connection to Disney+ as I lose it in about five months.
But I don’t regret finishing Amphibia. You’re right Mikey, everything that we went through the slow start to the the crawling buildup. Everything culminates in this last season for an all out ending that we will never forget.
BEST ENDING OF ANY CARTOON EVER (for now, cause we still have the owl house, we'll see) IT DEFINETLEY IS ONE OF THE BEST AT ANY POINT IN TIME IN HISTORY OF CARTOONS. and I just gotta say that I love the way they conveyed the massage of letting go with the three girls. they wanted to cling to their friendship so bad at first, no matter how flawed it was, but eventually decided that it's better for them to have that distance.
I got to say seeing you slowly fall in with eachother character in the show reminds me the first time I watched it. I thought it we’ll be just anther show from Disney that episodic show with not story. It didn’t expect to fall in love with a show that had frogs of all things! But boy was I wrong! I loved Sprig, Polly, Hop Hop, Anne, Sasha, Marcy and so on! Matt embraced the lesson he wanted to tell to his audience young and old. He didn’t shy from it even when at moments he concerned it but no! He wanted to teach us the most important lesson of life. Change is inedible but if you accept change it can grow you to a stronger preson. Everyone left Amphibia stronger then ever even Marcy (my personal favorite) and no one was the same in a good way. Expect the Core!
The Core is the prime example to run from change. To hide and think they can control everything! The fear of being irrelevant (like Marcy said.) honestly I didn’t like Sasha as much till the more I knew her character the more I started to love her! I love everything in this show frog dang it! We need more shows like this that tell a story and embrace the lesson there trying to teach! Story’s that anyone can watch no matter how lord or young you are (expect probably pre schoolers maybe but still.)
This show helped me realize I’m a new man then I was yesterday or last year. We all change and we all grow! I can just talk about this show all day but this we’ll be probably 10000 words or something.

I've been watching your amphibia reactions since the very first episode, and it's been an amazing journey I tell you! It was very exciting to see how you fell in love with the show and its characters.
You are one of my favorite reaction channels at the moment, if not THE favorite, so I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!(so excited for infinity train season 3, you have no idea dhjdsj) I know you said you wanted to limit your reactions to just a few series at once but I would still like to recommend Lego Monkie Kid as a show. It deserves a lot more attention imo, so if you could at least consider it, it would be very cool and awesome I think😼.
Anyway, amphibia is a very special show, and they couldn't have made the ending better, it's one of the best animation finales out there(fr I was bawling like a baby). This show will always have a special place in our hearts!!💕

Marcy's Journal the book that got released some time after the last episode. Gives a Season 1 from the perspective of Marcy, and it is INCREDIBLY well written, But it also touches some details about the perspective of Marcy again on Season 2 and since Anne got the journal on season 3 we see some of her as well BUT most importantly it touches some more on the 10 years later situation before Marcy reunites again with the girls...
SPOILERS for the end of the book:
It is also said on the book that Mr.X and Terri have been working on a new portal that can access Amphibia and at the end of the book it is hinted that they succeeded!! Calling all 3 girls to come and check it out, meaning that we can either continue the story ourselves OR perhaps a sequel movie in the far far future

Did you notice that when Anne was resurrected by The Cosmic Domino that she's missing her shoe on the left foot instead of her right? Making more of a mystery as to whether she is the original Anne or an Anne clone. There might be a hint inside Marcy's journal, but there's also mention of this in The unofficial sequel fan comic to the series that's currently running online.
Also you might want to go to the final credits one more time to catch the updated BFF picture the girls took when they went out celebrating Anne's Birthday. Do note the three drinks around the picture.
