As a temporary work-around, I run parallel amp models in my GX patches. One side use a stock IR and the other uses a 3rd party IR, which requires a boost in amp level. Both amps have a PEQ to filter/boost their signal where needed. BOSS claims to have fixed the IR Loader but I see no change.
Interesting comparison. I'm using a Celestion IR with my GX, and I'm perfectly happy with the tone I'm getting. But this vid was a real eye opener as far as the difference between it and other IR loaders.
please try to record the the outputs coming out IR loaders and then when you have all the track recorded you can compare two waves in the EQ comparison I did that and the only thing I have found is output volume difference between the GX and the loaders and some differences in the low end and high end which by the way have to be cut to represent a real cabinet Maybe I did wrong but if you can we can double check

Yeah, i was surprised by the difference but I’m perfectly happy with the sounds I’m getting
