Gonna keep saying this. They wasted Majin Vegeta Lr card art on this unit. They could have used this scene differently as an entrance opening and finally it would have been perfect if majin Vegeta had an active skill where he powers up resisting babidis magic where he says that his pride is why he can't be controlled. This Lr card sickens me lol

Agreed, they are underwhelming in what they are designed to be. They do minimal damage with the standby attack and Majin Vegeta is not defensive enough, nor are they generating ki to make the finish attack more powerful.

As a F2P, I believe that Truth is right because I used Roshi back during the 6th anniversary he was good including the other F2P cards (which they're not good in the new meta). But when the 7th anniversary came I couldn't use the F2P characters either in Super Battle Road or Red Zone. Even when people are saying that Majin Vegeta can be useful in Red Zone, think about Super Battle Road, the Extreme Super Battle Road, or potential EZA events, is he going to be good in those events?!
It low key hurts seeing the biggest whale of Dokkan wanting better f2p units FOR THE COMMUNITY and they want to say anything against him. Let Truth cook!

As a f2p characters hes decent but yeah compared to the premium units its to be expected. You should do a f2p tier list. They definitely messed up the Majin Vegeta part should have been attacking.
I disagree, putting him in arguably the hardest fight in the game with type disavantage isnt fair. And 7:30 you're again comparing to an anniversary PREMIUM unit. Truth, not every character has to tank Cooler Core with type disavantage to be good. You said you dont care if he is an F2P unit, except that HE IS an f2p unit and he's not supposed to compete with the premium unit. The community is right, instead of crying that he cant tank a million dmg super attack WITH TYPE DISAVANTAGE, lets rejoice bcs they could have put out WAY worse...

Truth should run Majin Vegeta against a tough type neutral boss. He tanked Cell Max very well, but tanked Metal Cooler Core badly, if he can tank type neutral well that will determine if hes fine or not. I wish he guarded so he would be consistent but just dont run him against phys bosses

The issue a lot of people have is that they only want to compare F2P units to viable F2P level conditions. The issue with this kind of comparison is that it downsizes ALL F2P units. F2P units should be at least viable alongside the same content that they are released in including Red Zone content. They don’t have to be offensive monsters like the P2P units, but they should be able to at least hold up defensively.
Just look at Roshi. He was amazing on released and held up with content at the time. People just seem to overlook actual good examples

In order for him to tank, he needs to take 2 hits, the first really hurts, second particularly ain’t much compared prior. His damage is completely bad, and his tanking system is structured poorly for the way things are.

I don’t always agree with your full dodge builds, but you know how to build characters. That Majin Vegeta is wasted. 33 dodge is all you can do. Hopefully they revisit that with an actual LR Majin Vegeta

Honestly? I think the Devs did a Teq Gohan with LR Phy Roshi. They made a really good F2P unit, and went "Oh shit, we can't be doing this all the time" and for that reason they've pulled the effectiveness of future units of the same type back.
Its content. Bottom line. If the unit is super useful, cherry on top. Not every unit is going to be good for the red zone, or built for the red zone.

@@kytsunee6324 Nothing wrong with that, newer players out there who are having issues with the Legendary events or certain missions elsewhere will probably get a lot of use out of this Babadi/Vegeta unit.
DaTruth I find speaks for a select audience, that being long time players and whales. But newer players might not have a lot of the premium units, when I first started playing I would have loved for half of the new F2P units that exist. Allows you to get started and hopefully get the better units down the line.

If you want to build a team around Babidi (F2P), it'll take some work and effort but you can do that too. EZA Teq Cooler, LR Babidi/Vegeta, Int Dabura, PB Babidi & Buu, PB Frieza, AGL Cooler. - Friend LR Cooler. Will you beat the red zone with that team? Probably not, but again, not a terrible team for beginners looking to get to grips with the game. Which is what (besides collecting) the majority of the F2P units are for.
Don’t have a problem with him not attacking but, two or three changes I would make to improve him would be one make his own orbs, buff the Buu finish attack like Goku does on his 2nd finish attack from 15 to twenty percent per charge, have him guard on his first turn of appearance at the very least.

the thing that gets me is that his links are beyond HORRIBLE for his teams, they shouldve given him ki support to compensate for his terrible linkset and ki mechanic, and guard so that he can actually defend well enough to be worth running.

The funny thing is Babidi/Majin Vegeta didn't need to be some top 10 behemoth to be a successful release, just needs to be good enough to let F2P player feel like they are keeping up in some regard to the power creep that comes with each anniversary. Perfectly executed for 6Y but totally dropped the ball the last 2 years. This character would've been a perfect level of strength for last years anniversary 💀
I agree that LR Piccolo is how they should make new F2P units, at least in that realm of power, but I'm sorry, that Piccolo isn't really "F2P". If you start a new dokkan account right now or heck even started one 1 year ago, 99% of players won't have this and won't probably for years, same with the other WT LRs that aren't the current ranking reward. Truth himself had the hardest time to pull the last copies to rainbow this guy. I think it's a really cool gesture to people that were playing around like the 3rd anniversary when this guy was the WT reward unit. But unless you have god like luck and grind the shit out of WT to get the most tickets available, you won't have access to this unit. We can just hope that they make these LRs somehow easier to get if the next ones are on that same lvl.
I play a multitude of gachas and the worst grind has to belong to Granblue Fantasy but the community still calls them F2P even tho they use some of the heaviest resources to finalize. Get over yourself. WT grind is a joke in comparison. They are F2P and just because they're "annoying" to get doesn't suddenly change that.
@@MoVySaN It's not just that they are annoying to get, if there was a mechanic where you had to grind like a ton to get guaranteed copies of LR Piccolo or like LR Tien then I would say fine. But it's not just grinding, you grind to get tickets that have give you a miniscul chance to pull those LRs. Like I said, if you are not lucky. You can place Nr. 1overall in the next 20 WT and still don't get a single copy of LR Piccolo.

It’s f2p in that no amount of money will let you pay to win with the character. Even if the restriction is huge amounts of luck (Piccolo), time invested (2000 day goku), or commemorative (str saibaiman) it’s still f2p… the event’s barrier of entry is just higher/over

Dude. Lr metal cooler took 500k to a super IN YOUR VIDEO right after Majin Vegeta took 80k from the same boss super
First of all metal cooler was at a type disadvantage and wasn't fully built up. Second of all Majin Vegeta taking 80k from the weakest red zone boss is unimpressive. Cell max does 800k on super that's not good considering the other red zone stages hits HARDER then cell max.

Fyi cooler is healing you and Actually doing damage and when he's built up he tanks better then bumgeta

And before you say anything else there is a few things:
1. Both were type disadvantage in their respective showings.
2. Even if Metal Cooler wasn't fully built up, the core has supposedly stronger normals especially after the super.

In the Metal Cooler Core clip, there was an extra 25% defense left on the table that could have been gained from actually activating links.

Or do you mean fun events like super battle road. Because while I don't know the exact numbers. It does feel like there are more extreme class enemies in super battle road.

@Above true. They do need come out with a new version of super battle road like they with extreme imo. Not a fan of the limited tries a day with red zone. It's not too bad. But not as fun because it takes forever giving all these different teams and versions of team tries just to see.
@Above I also really haven't paid attention to red zone class type. I just assume it's difficult. Still haven't no itemed them more than once. I've been trying to do it again but that one time was just insane with the great RNG with the newest cell max Red zone

You can say there are f2p units that when they came out or EZA’d they were on par with summonable units: yadrat goku, LR roshi and jackie chun, wt piccolo, demon king piccolo, LR tao, EZA bee pan, EZA phy king cold, EZA str vegito blue, the list can go on and on, but some of us don’t see it because of “fancy sh-mancy “ summonable units that sometimes are not even that good.
