2. The unhype character will not help their teams if they aren't good
3. When you are forced to use that character it will go bad because they aren't the best
4. The hype characters is still gonna be broken

I do agree on Legends part, Dokkan seems to be holding out on some characters.
I just hate that Carnival banners are trash, I mean 10 featured units and more than half the list is either mid or is flat out dogshit.
I wouldn't mind the format if they just improved the banners.

On the topic of Kev's tweet about Orange Piccolo clearing content and pulling your favourite characters, the impression I got was him saying "2x Orange can clear anything, so if you have Orange piccolo you don't need to pull the meta units, you can just pull your favourites instead". He wasn't using Orange Piccolo as an example of a random favourite to pull instead of a meta unit.

There is one issue with saving your stones just for anniv and worldwide, and that's that mostly the same type of units return. Past WW and anniv units tend to be featured. Anniv banners this year were kinda mid for me because outside of the new 8th anniv units and the Gammas, I had every unit on the banners already with dupes and the large majority of them were already 90% or rainbowed. I agree that saving stones for big celebrations is smart, but at some point it will diminish the value that these banners hold.
You are definitely right on this one. I have had the same problem so I say you can throw tannabata, golden week, and double rates in the same pool as anniversary and WW but slightly down on the priority list. Then just wait for units that are hype for you personally. It’s also important to summon for good leaders.
@@thebigpuff8654 Tanabata banner suck ass tho, if you really want the tanabata unit it's better to go after Saiyan Day Banners, those always have the Tanabata unit and alot of featured units that then to be scattered or lost.
for what i can see, the units that would appear next year there is:
INT SSJ4 Goku, PHY God Goku, INT Majin Vegeta, SSJ Kale, INT Broly (maybe), those i believe are guaranteed to appear there.
@@anstorner You’re actually right. Saiyan Day sometimes is really good and potentially better than tannabata. I guess it depends on the year but I should look at the past to see for sure. Of course it’s still sort of dependent on who you have off the banner but increasing your chance to get Saiyan Day and WW units (on Global at least) is definitely a good idea sometimes since they don’t return for a while.

For Worldwide they could do a future saga Goku and Vegeta that has an active that allows them to fuse into Vegito. Stack ATK&DEF in base, guarantee orb changing. Vegito starts out with 18-20 ki, gets damage reduction, 18 ki super greatly raises defense for 1 turn, 24 ki raises defense for 3 or even 5 turns. They probably wont do anything like this, but a guy can dream
The whole “spam hype characters year round” take infuriates me.
1. Our monkey brains aren’t going to be nearly as hyped up if all we get year round are the best selling units. Slower months help to build up for the big releases. Fusions and other big LRs are all the more exciting because we’re not getting them constantly.
2. Less hype characters NEED good kits because they are on weaker teams with weaker setups. DF Videl HAD to be busted on release because she was being run alongside much less impressive units. She and many other characters deserving of representation would have been dead on arrival if we saved all the best kits for the best sellers.

I'm hoping that if it is a Vegito in WWDC, then it should be Vegito Blue. Then we make it future based. I would want it to be LR Dokkan Fest Vegito Blue and Carnival Corrupted Zamasu, and then LR Dokkan Fest Goku Black and then LR Carnival SOH Trunks for part two(or adjust it however as long as it's these 4) I think it would open a lot for EZA's and all 4 characters are extremely hype especially together. I also just really want a new SOH Trunks that is amazing and has beautiful animations
Now that I think about it, I'd rather it be Broly and he gets Big Bad Bosses. Reason being I'm going to be at basic training during WWDC and I wouldn't want to miss my boi SOH Trunks

My opinion of WWC is they should do full Future for WWC with fusing VB, CMZ, SoH Trunks and transforming Rosè. Then for Anniversary they do Super Vegito and Buuhan with a Gogeta Blue and Broly
Only problem is as of now corrupted merged zamasu isn’t a character in Dokkan the only one is Just named fused zamasu so he can’t link with the one we got last year

10:00 dumb take. There is definitely distinguishable characteristics of a carnival LR vs a yellow coin LR. 2-3 forms of absolute utility (ie. Guard, revive, Dr, stacking, etc) mixed into one kit WITH a sraight up 200% lead to one specific category (so far). Bulma was built like a carnival Lr but probably changed last minute because of how ridiculous she is. Could you imagine running a team with double Bulma??

These actually changed want I want from WWDC. I originally wanted Super Vegito, Buuhan, Blue Vegito, Corrupt Fusion Zamasu. But now I agree on the blowing the Vegito load. Blue Vegito and Rose Black for part one just like they did so many years ago and fusion zamasu and trunks would just be so good. Then give us a Super Vegito and Super Gogeta for Anni since they haven’t had named characters in forever

Listening to this while at the gym 🔥 as crazy as it sounds, it’s working so well for me.
I had said something similar to this in the comments of the tweet but it didn’t get shown. The pool for summon animations needs to be broadened. Seeing just Krillin fly in could be its own animation, seeing gohan and goten could be a family kamehameha animation. They’ve shown with the super celebration that they can do the main person as a different character sprite that fires the ki blast to start the summon animations there’s so many options.
I also think each big celebration (WWC, Anni, etc) needs their own unique ones per celebration. General pool for Dokkan need broader animations and big celebrations need unique ones
As someone who has been playing Dokkan for 5 years I can easily understand the feeling of there being alittle content during the major celebrations. Once a new event or EZA is released it's something you can do in a couple hours for the most part. And when most listed "events" that are listed are the banners being released, as a free to play player, you are very limited in the summons you can actually do.
I dont blame the celebration though, I have no other content for the most part to participate in so when something new is released it gets cleared quickly.
I also have responsibilities outside of the game so I cant experiment all the time with teams and endlessly link level my teams, I work as a cook, hours can be rough. At the end of the day, it's a game, a passing of time
yeah i agree like as much as i hate grinding missions and content it’s something to do bc most of the time IDBH or ESBR stages can be beat in like 10 minutes now that they stopped releasing like 10 stages a celebration but i understand why they did

I still think the standby is ass to get but I can atleast see where they're coming from. I've had Syn runs that go until Turn 14-15, so Turn 6, 7, and 8 isn't that wild.
I'm Truth on this. The fight is decided even more on the starting rotation because it 6 turns after first appearance and during that you'll have to deal with the coinflips

Nobody is denying WT Goku's high chance being annoying or difficult to managed, the conversation is specifically about how the turn restriction isn't that difficult to accomplish when you're using characters with less stats due to available dupes, because you'd be doing inherently less damage due to their weaker numbers.

For other units I'm debating on Perfect Cell & Cell Max (Gohan v Cell theme) or Boujack movie SSJ1 into SSJ2 Gohan and SSJ2 Great Saiyaman (Rage theme).
This would be the most hype thing EVER for me as the biggest Gohan fanboy alive!!! Also Beast is fresh still so it’s still hype for everyone. SSJ2 Gohan has always been worthy as well.
the problem with how they did the previous vegitos was timing. it didnt help that vegito blue was replaced by super vegito a month after global got it. most youtubers miss that is why the community was so upset about super vegito being the WWDC because it completely powercrept vegito blue. I think this time if they do a vegito during worldwide and one during anniversary it will not have the same issues as last time because vegito during WWDC then anniversary giving space to have hype for both.

My hot take is that WWDC lr ssj goku and vegeta from namek are overhated. Yeah they definitely can sell and are pretty fragile sometimes but they have also the best leader skill in the game. Also bosses now hit like 20000 times so it is easier to get them to transform.

Ppl forget that PHY LR Vegeta’s unit super I believe it is, and the 8 year Goku and Vegeta LR is the exact same animation. It’s just from different angles, and the Phy Vegeta’s version just takes Goku’s parts out. They find ways to reuse or just MAKE UP animations
We need new Vegito units. A Super Vegito, and a Vegito Blue would be a perfect WWC, with a Buuhan LR and Merged Zamasu. And to circumvent the fact that we have a Merged Zamasu already (who's still really good), it can be "Merged Zamasu (Giant Form)", given that he actually does physically grow a significant amount in the anime by the time he's fighting Trunks.
Make it so WT gives more stones and Zeni. There should be a type of actual competition when it comes to it, as it is a TOURNAMENT. So why not make it worth people to grind for three days if you could get up to 30-100(maybe 150) stones from it? Makes it almost a goated event

I've never gotten 23rd gokus standby. Not only is it the hardest to get, it is also by far the worst among them. Same for revives really. What saves him is the revive activated vs when this character revives that others have

World wide being future makes the most sense. Make it part one Vegito Blue dokkan fest LR, Rose Carnival LR and Part two Corrupted Merged Zamasu Dokkan Fest LR and Carnival Sword of Hope Trunks LR, EZA the AGL Zamasu and TEQ transforming trunks and you have an amazing celebration with lots of hype.
I think they should catch the games up together for global and jp but it’s kinda nice having them as separate apps because whenever there isn’t anything for me to do on my main (jp) I can just switch over to global and grind stuff so I think they should catch them up but keep them separate

Dokkan seems to mirror Legends sometimes and vice versa, and seeing as how Ultra Vegito blue dropped, I am going to assume World wide might be Future themed.
My hot take for this vid. Last year’s part 2 LR’s aged the poorest and fastest than any other unit, and were too under-tuned on release.

My Hot Take: I wish WW would do more with the Baby Arc. They could make an absolute ton of stuff with all of the characters and animations. A banner unit Baby was crappy for the poor dude, much like what they did to Garlic Jr.
Yeah your point about Goku's standby is really changed by your units being rainbow. If we build a team that ramps up(build up does not mean weaker!), Then our team will go through the event extremely slow. Syn fight can go to turn 10-12+ easily tbh

My hot take has gotta be wwc has to be top related Now before anyone comes after me it’s not cause I want another ui goku or whatever. As we’ve seen anni eza’s get there eza’s after 3 years on the anni, not only would the top units support reps of u7 but the eza’s have great potential as well. Str ui goku, full power jiren, str jiren, lr blue goku and vegeta, kefla for agl kale, not much tur eza’s but I think having a wwc is an amazing option to make sure units who will get their eza 5 months later are properly supported. To me this seems like the best option, while we may not get villain support and since wwc is usally villain vs hero. I do think top has a lot of value and this would significantly buff them while also making it viable to run 6th year lrs when they eza in 9th year anni.

Here is what I would do with wwdc and 9th anni.
Wwdc: part 1 - Vegito blue and merged zamasu. (vegito is the carnival unit)
Part 2 - Blue goku from the "you are gonna pay!" fight against zamasu and goku black. And a carnival lr Goku black.
Then for 9th - part 1 - ssj Vegito and ssj3 gotenks or goku.
Part 2 - Buuhan and Kid buu carnival units (assuming they stay with the 8th anni format).
This would bring way more hype imo

A lot of these 'hot takes' just end up being a wishlist for most people. Who is gonna disagree with villains needing a link revamp? Or Dokkan needing a pity system? People need to learn that hot takes are supposed to be spicey. I want someone to say that some top tier unit sucks or that Bulma is one of the most hype releases they've ever done. Crap like that.
Carnivals need to be the yellow coins, and all the carnival coins in peoples inventory need to be swapped to the lr coins because theres no reason for it besides greed and a majority of the community does not like it
Here’s the problem with truths opinion on not summoning for who u want and spending it on whoever. He states it as if it’s a fact that you won’t get anything good, but that’s just because of his personal experiences summoning and getting shafted. Which don’t apply to everyone. He may take 1000 stones to get someone but it may only take you a couple singles. Flawed way of thinking on his end, in my opinion.

The transformed trunks vs int ssj4 goku, I mean at full passive power trunks is comparable maybe better but good fucking luck getting him at full power meanwhile full power ssj4 goku is just at full power for free, also the banner units need to be way better, Kale needed a completely different banner unit, even if frost was really gold it wouldn’t be too much of a kale buff since he shares no big links with her, unless he was a defensive goat and gave u6 3 ki and 30% attack and defense
9th an anniversary can be turbo charged fusion’s anniversary. Super gogeta and super vegito combo card with opposiing blue gogeta and blue vegito combo card. Part 2 is ss4 gogeta and if they allow it ss4 xeno vegito, with a ss3 gotenks and ss2 berserk kefla. To me this would be heaven

I adore God Goku, he typically cooks pretty good for me. But i struggle to get his 6 orbs because I feel like i have some of the worst Orb Fields of all time, i struggle to get the 8th Years 18 Ki sometimes
We need a SSJ2 Gohan DF, whether LR or not. Entrance Animation could be when he first transforms with 16's words included. Gets an Active Skill for the Father Son Kamehameha, and they can use other attacks for the Super Attacks.
People saying that PHY syn shenron boss fight isn’t hard are totally wrong. I still haven’t been able to beat the fight with super premium units, double super attacked and hit by 3 AoE has been enough to just completely destroy my teams with LR Vegeta and Trunks, GT Goku and SS4 Vegeta, 23 WT Goku, PHY God Goku; all of them just getting one shotted on turn 8. Litteraly just pop a whis and his aoe normals do nothing and his super is even extremely weak. He simply doesn't have the health to outlast items.

If wwdc part 1 was joined forces goku&vegeta-vegito and rose&zamasu-fused zamasu and part 2 was soh trunks and corrupted zamasu I'd be happy, I'm a big fan of transforming units

for literal YEARS now weve collectively been predicting a vegito or gogeta WWC for so long now and we are literally always wrong, like i remember last year people got disappointed hearing it was cooler and goku saying stuff like "should've been vegito" or something along those lines.
to me, it makes even more sense that it isnt vegito since INT zamasu is still fairly fresh, on global especially. like i dont think theyd plan out releasing two of the same character, a villain at that too specifically, within the same year.
