After this video, 7 months ago more or less, I called the closest Aiways dealership to me, I ordered it,and now I'm glad to have it and enjoy it! All to this video, thanks a lot!
It didn't even cost a lot, just more or less 47k euros!!(Prime version)
Just, the only bad thing is that the blinker sound is a bit low, and it's strange since all the new cars have "loud" blinkers sound
But it's anyway a great green-car of course

Does the car go down 0 when let off the pedel?
It seems quite noisy compared to other EV's, are that noise artificial and can you change it in the cars settings?

It's a digital sound it only sounds when there isn't other sounds playing (alarms etc).

Do you own this car or just borrowed for the review? I have booked the premium version of the u5. Just wanted to know how is it after you have driven for let’s say 6-7 months. Do u have any complaints?

I only had it for a week, so no long term test information. It's a good car especially at the lower budget. There are almost no alternatives around 40k that offer that space. Even the premium version at 46k seems like a good deal compared to current price of for example ID.4 (currently cheapest version is 49k in the configurator). There are some trade offs, like it charges slower than other cars, the UI of the infotainment system doesn't look very appealing, it doesn't have a physical button to switch it off.

Nice. Chinese market values legroom and a long wheelbase a lot. Yet I am still not fully comfortable with the phrase “Chinese car”.

More Chinese brands are coming to Europe: NIO, xpeng, Li, etc. BMW iX3 is produced in China and Tesla also has a big factory in China that also produces for global market

@@gib112 In Deutschland bekommen Sie für den Preis bei der Ausstattung nichts vergleichbares!! Dafür müssen Sie ca. 10000€ und mehr draufzahlen!! Und die Ladeleistung ist mit 11 kw und > 90 kw auch nicht schlechter als bei anderen Herstellern. Ich kann das Fahrzeug nur empfehlen, da ich selber seit einiger Zeit besitze und fahre . Grüße aus Deutschland 😊

Console plastic is cheap and layout idiotic, screen is sharp enough but stupid slow for 2022.
Rest of the car is great build.
