Some people often claim the Chinese car market is very big but it just because of their domestic market. I have not seen Chinese car brand here or Europe(except for some small cargo van's brand, I don't know). Chinese have very long way to go. For now, they are just OEM factories for global car brands.
Why would an impact safety rating depend on electronic safety features such as autonomous emergency braking(exception is Euro NCAP)? The global NCAP score just tells you how much is the occupant safety on frontal impact at specified speeds. AEB, lane keep assist etc don't matter, just the number of airbags, chasis construction is captured by the score.
Full width frontal crash is the easiest and longest running crash test, the more difficult test is the small frontal overlap test. Notice how there are no videos here of that test which has been standard in the USA since 2012.
It's not used in European crash tests because it's judged to be a very rare accident type on European roads. Instead Europe uses other tests such the pole test which is very brutal.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I have not seen Chinese car brand here or Europe(except for some small cargo van's brand, I don't know). Chinese have very long way to go. For now, they are just OEM factories for global car brands.
The domestic market has insufficient production capacity, how to export overseas.
Some popular cars have to wait 5 months to pick up the car.
In india we have 5 star for nexon ev without any avoidance system and only two air bags
