    You have revived an intrigue in beauty videos that I thought was long gone. Your content is sincere, unexpected, thorough and reasonable. I haven't WANTED to click a tutorial in so long (it's felt like a chore, as I hunt down info for my budding routine) and I'm happily perusing your videos, even the ones less relevant to my needs. Thank you for sharing your secrets!

    I’m a natural brunette (med-dark brown) and I decided to BLEACH my hair out and go with Wella t14 toner. I like the color but my hair is sooo dry. Coconut oil makes it feel horrible but Moroccan/ argon oil has helped it to not feel CRUNCHY🤦‍♀️. I need to condition the HECK out of it but I don’t know if it needs a keratin treatment, a protein treatment. I do know it needs to PENETRATE

    Olga ,
    Your hair looks really nice.
    I did the same as you. I used to bleach my hair , and get a hair permanent every year. I kept my colorings and perms to a minumum , but it still wasn't good.
    I also used to use all those damaging, chemical. filled shampoos and hair care products.
    I finally stopped in 2011. I now use nothing but natural products.
    I have tried to use honey to lighten.
    Because I used to have very light colored hair similar to yours in your earlier photos. The honey helps...but not a drastic color change. But I also don't apply it as often as I should.
    Sorry to talk so much.....I really just wanted to let you know your hair looks pretty. I was surprised to see your earlier pictures with the light colored hair. You were pretty then , but still pretty now. If you ever want your hair lighter , try honey. ( raw honey is better than the grocery store honey.) Mixing the honey with distilled water and a spice called cardomom helps to enhance the natural peroxide that is in honey.
    Bye !! Thank you for the post !

    Hi Olga! I am so glad that you are talking about actual FINE hair and not thin hair, every time I look up tips for fine hair the tips are geared toward thinning hair. So frustrating, lol. Most fine haired girls have thick hair (from what I've researched and seen), I live in Hong Kong and my hair is the opposite of the common hair type here (they have coarse, strong strands and thinner amount of hair, so hair loss is a bigger issue for women here.) Humidity here is very high and my hair is extremely sensitive to it, most people here do not have that problem, so products are hard to find for me. Do you do anything special for humidity resistance? Btw, I know you like beauty research, and for hair science related things a lot of curly hair blogs offer excellent articles. Like 'sciencey hair blog' and 'naturally curly.' Thank you for your effort and tips!:)

    • @olgatoja
      @olgatoja  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I always thought that fine is the opposite of thick, so your comment surprised me. However I know what you mean about hair thinning - it's a lot about it everywhere but to find hair care for fine healthy (not thinning) hair is not easy. Asian ladies have very different hair, nothing that works for them (also for Indian and African ladies) works for mine. Not even the haircuts ;) For humidity - I feel for you again because UK is very humid and windy too, my hair look best when I go back to Poland - they are just made for that type of climate. The frizz improved when I began oiling them before washing (this made them moist from within and heavier), when I started using hair bubble ALWAYS when I'm outside (it keeps hair smooth after you lat them down in the buildings) and as you mention, I started using products for curly hair ;) The conditioner I mentioned - blue Redken Curvatious is for curly hair. It can be used as conditioner as well as leave in lotion to calm down the frizz, It's good and I recommend it :) Thanks :)

    • @jessierasberry3082
      @jessierasberry3082 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      olgatoja I previously thought that too, lol! I think the confusion comes from the hair industry using fine and thin to mean the same thing, and because fine hair is easily weighed down that it gives a thinner appearance. A good way to tell is by looking at someone's hair part. If the part is wide then they have thinner hair, less hair on the head. If they have a narrow line with less scalp showing they have more hair strands, aka thicker hair. My hair is just like yours, so I loved this video. Thanks for responding! :)

      olga. dziękuję ci bardzo. zmieniłeś się moja skóra, a teraz chcesz zmienić fryzurę, żeby być zdrowe i błyszczące. dziękuję ci bardzo!! But You make so much sense. I always used a product called "Ureamol" here in Canada. My fingers would crack so bad in the winter and this product was the only cream that healed my hands. It was made primarily of Urea...They say that what is good for the skin is also good for your hair and nails. I am going to try all of the products you featured. Yes, fine hair is so soft as you said 🤗🤗🤗. however, your hair is so beautiful and healthy! You are not only beautiful on the outside but your beautiful on the inside....with a platinum Heart ❤️Thanks for sharing your beautiful and healthy secrets with us! Love to you Olga...& have a wonderful week! Susan xo

      @olgatoja  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Susan, you are so kind :) I think there is much truth in that - what's good for the skin is also good for the hair and nails. E.g. hyaluronic acid is also one of the building blocks of hair and from time to time I too add few drops of the lotion to the hair masks. On another note, could I please ask you something - would you mind sending me email on olgatoja@outlook.com, I have something I would like to share with you but I don't know your email address :) Thanks :)

    Love your tips!!! :-) just a FYI those vitamins you mentioned you should consume them as well!!! Get a good organic vitamin B complex or just buy non-fortified nutrional yeast and eat it... believe me I know what I'm telling you :-) Don't forget minerals need to be consumed as well!! Magnesium and Potassium in our veggies...People buy so many products and don't realize that it is best to start in your innerself because it will reflect always on your skin and hair :-) So eating your greens and taking your vitamins is very important..♡Aside, from making sure the shampoo you use doesn't have all these bad chemicals too.

    I can't use shampoo with our SLS. Anytime I switch to sulfate free, my hair gets dry like a hay stack and damaged. Also, everyone raves about coconut oil. Coconut oil makes my skin break out horribly and it strips my hair! Talk about a mystery! My skin and hair actually do better with toxic products. I don't get it. 😣

    • @noelianoliz3583

      *With out

    • @olgatoja
      @olgatoja  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it depends on what's in the shampoo apart from the SLS. For example many natural shampoos contain lots of herbs extracts which can be quite drying. So it's not just about finding one without SLS but one that works well with the hair and is SLS free. I get the same with coconut oil, it's not working well on my hair or face either but it's okay as a body moisturiser.

    I have fine hair & find coconut oil too heavy for me. I use jojoba. I used TBS Rainforest Range for many years & eventually got bored and I shifted to Acure Organics. it's SLS & paraben free. you should try shampoos from this brand. you won't be disappointed.
    I missed out on participating in the giveaway & I want the massage book. could you provide the eBay link for it?

    • @olgatoja
      @olgatoja  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Coconut oil is too heavy for me too (same olive oil etc) so I get you completely :) I tried different oils over time but I tend to go back to grape seed because it's easy to remove and light (and cheap). I will definitely try the shampoo you recommend - thank you for the suggestion. You are right, after sometime you get bored using the same shampoos ;) As for the book it's not that easy to get it that's why I really wanted to do the giveaway. I bought it when I was in Korea recently. In this blog post I wrote where I get the books from (they are not available on eBay or anywhere I'm familiar with in the West). Unless you speak Polish you may need an assistance of a Korean speaker to buy it : www.olgatoja.com/single-post/2017/08/04/Where-do-I-buy-my-face-massage-books . :)

      Coconut ended up making my hair weighed down and greasy (unless I washed it a few times.
      I make a mask of raw honey, almond oil and an essential oil (I usually use lavender) and brush it through my ends, and a little oil through my roots (most people don't have damage at their roots because the hair is so new) I do that mask once a week and get compliments on my hair and how shiny it is :)

    Cześć! Napiszę po polsku, bo tak będzie mi łatwiej :p trafiłam na Twój filmik, ponieważ szukałam informacji na temat tej odzywki Treatmen Wax Conditioner. Ja mam akurat tę wersję z aloesem, ale skład się chyba niewiele różni, z tego, co patrzyłam. Mam falowane/kręcone włosy i od jakiegoś czasu wyznaję metodę CG. Tę maskę zakupiłam jakiś czas temu, kiedy nie byłam jeszcze świadomą włosomaniaczką i nie używałam jej właśnie ze wzgledu na SLS w składzie :/ jak Twoim zdaniem najlepiej ją stosować? Ponieważ chciałam dać jej szansę, ale nie wiem, czy jest sens nakładać silny detergent na 30 min pod czepek, czy może lepiej zużyć ją do mycia skalpu? 🤔 powiedz proszę, co myślisz! :)

    Hey!
    Thank you for the video, actually I'm suffering from damaged hair even though I never changed its color! :(
    Can you please describe how do you use the mask.. how much time and all the process?
    Especially for "Henna Wax Treatment " because my hair is falling too much and nothing is working to stop it.. maybe this would help
    Thanks again!

    I don’t use colour, heat or any chemicals on my hair. But my hair always looks so dry and rough.

    Hello i wanted to ask you that a year back i used an asian cream for whitening and brightening and it broke me out when u left that cream my skin became dry and white bumps on face . Now i dont apply anything on my face but still break out what shall i do

    • @olgatoja
      @olgatoja  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, if the cream causes you breakouts I would stop using it. The white bumps can happen if the cream has paraffin in it. If I were you I would scrub my face often, wash it well and stay away from that cream. You can use salicylic acid for the break outs, that should help.

    Dear Olgatoja first a compliment u r very beautiful . thing s u r on social media network where u r not only seen in ur region only u r seen in south east asia, eastern europe, middle east etc, the products when first i commented ur glowy skin the product line was long and other people were saying that too . Now my point is since there r many things that u show us we dont find it here for example i am in south east asia , why don't u ( just a suggestion) take orders for what u use , ask people if they r interested if they badly want what u use u could make some profit too and ur products could be used and everyone could get skin like ur's . i dont know if u would agree or not but as i said its just a suggestion. anyways u look always good.

      I use coconut oil to my hairs but some times I also use homemade oil which contains mustard oil mix with olive oil, fenugreek seeds, onion seeds, onion and roses.
      I make this oil at home for hair growth.
