I like just a little pushback and off to the side to give the very front a little wave over. Watching how you didn't have to risk sprinkling right over the forehead was great.
I tried hair powder for the first time. It was extremely stiff and I used less than what you added. It was so stiff I couldn't comb through it and when I worked it in I was pulling out hair trying to comb my fingers through. I'll try again and maybe try to only hit the roots with the powder.

You don't have to worry about talc giving you lung cancer unless you are breathing in a largely excessive amount. The amount you're exposed to from a product like this is minimal, so the risk is virtually zero. As for ovarian cancer - that occurs when talc is introduced to the vagina, like if a woman uses talc powder to freshen her nether regions. But last time I checked, that shouldn't be an issue on the scalp.
