The cyro mask honestly seems like it would be perfect for migraines (not the intended purpose but when I have a migraine I basically want my whole head to be inside an ice cube).
See I get migraines, too, and just thinking about something frozen on my face gives me a ghost headache 😅but that's just proof that everyone's migraines are different!
I used to get migraines and I bought one of the masks from Amazon that he mentioned. It has those little silicone-like beads in a gel in a face mask that straps around your head. It’s definitely too cold in the freezer. I keep it in the fridge instead and it works great. I only get the occasional headache now and it’s still great for that. Doesn’t have eye holes either so it blocks light as well. It’s fantastic!
earth therapeutics has several different “masks” or packs that you can use cold or hot. they also have longer/bigger versions that can wrap around your shoulders or neck. i stick mine in the freezer in a ziplock bag, so they are always ready to go. i use them warm for sinus headaches and muscle aches.
I’m sure you’ve already tried this, but if not, Ice on the brainstem/medulla (poke up the back of your neck with your head slightly bent back, you will feel the little soft pocket where your head “attaches to your spine”, that is the area to aim/put the ice!) is the only thing that helps me when meds aren’t doing it. The ice will “numb” your entire head a bit. Also helps those vertebral arteries that run along both sides of your cervical spine! Gotta aim for the nerves instead of the whole head, simply because it’ll take longer to ice the whole head 😩🤣 also, Botox is the only thing that has stopped my migraines and headaches. I also use a micro current face “massager” that has helped my tmj a good bit.
Not familiar with Steph so I'm happy to see a colab video! Thank you for the introduction. She totally could be a Welsh sister for sure with that blunt, no nonsense, silly, realistic, humble approach. 💜🥰🖤👍💜😍🖤 Lots of love to you all!
Love how Steph was part of James's video today, seriously love her, she is one of my favourite make up TH-camrs to watch, she is just so 'normal'....I don't mean that in a bad way or anything, only the fact like she doesn't mind just being herself when she is on camera and I really respect that ❤
My dermatologist told me to avoid all extremes of temperature on my skin because of my rosacea - in winter if I've been out in the cold for just 30 minutes my whole face swells
That cerave oil cleanser is my absolute favourite cleanser right now, especially in the winter for my dry skin. I will admit that it was given to me for free to test, so I was pleasantly surprised and I will repurchase when the bottle is empty
Steph said: I love a bougie powder 🤣… James - 💯 great collaboration - and that marco lens; 👸 taking it to a whole new level up!! Keep the fire content coming 🍯… 💋
Great and candid review! She has beautiful skin but I appreciate the honest and up close review showing her texture before and after powder application. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Aw, I usually have to be in a certain mood to parasocially meet a new person but Steph's adorable & she won me faster than a door prize at the monthly bingo night at the local Legion..
Heya James. I use clay masks and have found an easier way to remove them. I use the Makeup Eraser/Makeup Remover type microfiber clothes. Washes away the mask without having to scrub at the skin. I totally recommend it to anyone who uses masks of any kind.
I do this too. I rinse the cloth in warm water and then put it over my face for a moment, so the dampness of the cloth softens the mask a bit. It wipes off nice and easy, no tugging. :)
I remember buying that exact L'Oreal BB cream 4 years ago when I moved to the UK (I was surprised when I saw that it's gone viral now!). I purchased it to try to smooth my redness from acne scars in my chin, I have to say my skin is very oily and my tone is rather yellow than pink. Well... this is my opinion, but it wouldn't do anything but leave my skin extra oily after a few moments when applied, also I remember that orange tone that would leave on my skin.
I love the LaRoche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser. I have tried to use other, cheaper cleansers that are supposed to be hydrating and gentle, but my face insists on feeling stripped and squeaky with just about every other cleanser I've tried. Or if the cleanser doesn't leave me stripped, it doesn't feel like it's cleaned anything.
True ....CeraVe is boring. And that is exactly what I like about it: it is high funcionality without fluff for an acceptable prize point. Also it is the first skin care I found that kept my partner from scratching himself bloody while sleeping.
My partner and me we both have very dry skin, and he has keratosis pilaris (which is super itchy in his case). The CeraVe S is perfect for those parts that are extremly affected, for the rest we use the milk. Befor I had to use at least 5 Bandaids a day to patch up the wounds he had after waking up. But I absolutly can see why people with oilier skin might not like it that much Edit: changed the name of the skin condition after realizing I mixed up the words from psoriasis (which my partner has not) to keratosis pilaris (which he actually has)
I hate the packaging concept being like "Uuuh! Let' s look like a demodée boring basic humble pharmacy aseptic brand and let' s choose the stereotyped pantones for dry-oily" But the cleansing gel for normal to oily fits me as if a _scieeeentist_ from SKINUP formulated exclusively for me! 😮🤯 🤩 So, no shame at all! I embrace it and I say it loud and proud 😜😅. And you still love me! Do-do-don't youuu?... 🥺🥺🥺
Godddd. I just learnt bout the caudalie mask hours ago amd searched TH-cam for reviews from MY FAVOURITE SKIN EXPERTS and here I am WITH THIS newly fresh VIDEO , uploaded just 2 HOURS AGO. JAMESSSSSS I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUU
I literally started a 'skincare routine' (just cleanser and moisturizer for now) and I've already noticed some of the hyperpigmentation on my cheek from acne starting to fade. I feel like my skin was just waiting for me to use *anything* at this point lol
The L’Oréal looked kinda light on the guy in the Tiktok too and orange on the girl, I wasn’t impressed. This product sat on the shelf for years so it’s amusing to see it have a moment
I have really pale skin and idk why I bought this, it says it turns to a "universal" shade, which is def too dark for me. I heard maybe the it cosmetics bb cream has a better range.
I THOUGHT it was an old product I tried before! It left me looking Green lol I felt like James looked a pale green on that side too. BB stands for Beauty Balm is what I always thought and CC was color correcting so I always thought this was oddly named
Flormar used to sell this type of products but as CC creams years ago (5 years or so I think they probably still sell them) XD I remember they smelled like biscuits and I bought two (green/peach) until I realized I didn't' like the product only the smell x) but they were nice for no makeup days.
I was thinking of buying this but I’m pretty pale and I think it would go orange on me. Plus there’s no way it would work on deeper skin tones. Universal shades just don’t exist.
totally agree about the cerave hype, i use theyre products because i have eczema and several allergies but there is so many non-cerave products that work great too. it’s all personal preference
Yeah, they're are a lot of affordable drug store eczema friendly stuff. (Where I live anyway) I recently discovered Urban Hydration and their aloe vera mask soothes my terrible itchy flare ups.
Thank You for having her on! I didn’t know of her but I really like her and plan on watching more of her! ❤️ To the powder, they do say their pores are blurred SO in a way they are saying it’s doing something it’s not. There sadly isn’t ANYTHING that’s going to make them GO! Some powders do blur but it’s not going to ERASE. I use the Foreo 2. The one that has the heat and cold. I really really like it. I also have rosacea and this is something that you don’t have to remember to put in the freezer. When you want to use it you just turn it. You definitely don’t have to buy their masks that go with it. I’ve used it with just regular serum many times. I do tend to usually use just the really cold temps. The clay mask… too much money for the same exact thing every clay mask does. The spots that show up when it dries is literally just the clay settling into your pores. Lol. So ridiculous for them to act like it’s brought anything out. Lol it does clean sure. I’ve used the Glamglow Supermud for like 13 years and even sleep with it on sometimes. The drying part does tighten your skin to a degree and after sleeping with it, my pores are tiny tiny. You get a TON for the price too although it does have like actual pieces of mud stuff in it that I like to pick off lol.
Your voice is so relaxing to listen to and i love learning so much from you and your videos! I love that you give your honest opinion on everything and debunk alot of the stuff that goes viral. I think i remember reading that BB cream stands for Beauty Balm 😀

i've heard about this for the first time too! (living under a rock it seems) but i really love their products and value for money i get, being on a tight budget and all. even my bf (who never uses anything skincare related) tried it and was suprised by how well it worked 🤭

I loved Stephs review, very nicely filmed :) for cerave I personally think we should aways factor the pricing into these reviews... very affordable for fine quality, so it's almost always a solid line to recommend to anyone :) esp people that don't want to spend a lot. But ofc nothing groundbreaking about the ingredients
Just found your channel & I'm already feeling like you're going to save me a lot of time & money. I like that your reviews aren't bought and paid for, you're the real deal! Thanks so much!
I'm kind of surprised that the green BB cream is recently viral, I've used it for a really long time. But I guess that's how Tiktok works - acting like old stuff is new. 😅 I only used it as a spot coverage when I had really red blemishes to color correct and then would go over with concealer. It worked ok. I haven't needed it in a while since I've started following the Welsh Twins. 😉 Better skin + better make up techniques
Thank you for lifting my mood James. It's the anniversary of my labradors death and I've been really going through it since her passing. Your personality really boosts my mood when I'm down even if it's just for a few minutes.
Hello James! I was wondering if you could maybe do a video on how you pack skincare for travelling and what products you choose. Are there any products you recommend to prevent some reactions your skin has when traveling? I apologize if you already made a video on that. Love you and take care! :)
Omg you making the 'eh eh' sounds when applying the hair clips 🤣🤣 I always feel so stupid making sounds like that sometimes and now I hear another grown up do that too 🤣
Just get a mask from primark/pennys and the inkey list kaolin mask. It's in a tube costs €7 fragrance free. Every clay mask will dry and show pores it's clay! If you put clay from your garden on your face it will dry and show pores exactly the same.
I tried that L’Oréal bb cream years ago, in 2016-17.. can’t remember for sure, but I hated it🥴 I am really pale in the winter & was suffering with horrible cystic acne at the time. I read that “green cancels out red” & took it to an extreme😂 it turned extremely orange, dry & crusty! I used it for a spot conceal method & walked outside looking like someone spit sunny d on my skin🙃🤣 made my blemishes worse too! Never used it again lol, was surprised to see it make such a comeback! New formula maybe?
I've tried so many kinds of bb creams that are supposed to become your perfect skin tone... and they never do on me! I always thought it was because I'm so pale.
The CeraVe Acne foaming cleanser with 4% benzoyl peroxide Gel is one of the only products I use from them religiously. I struggle with horrible acne, cystic acne, hormonal acne, eczema and psoriasis and I find that this face wash works better than anything I've ever used. My dermatologist recommended it to me. I used to never use the brand and I actually preferred the cetaphil brand before this but only for lotion and body wash as they have a line of products for eczema and they helped me a lot. But these days I use Skin Fix, First aid beauty lotions for eczema, etc!
Steph the stunner. i love cerave, its boring yes, but that is exactly why i love it! no frills but does the job! cerave plz dont ever change! 28:25, it made certain areas look white/green and left others more red, giving an overall strange look imo. you have good skin without bb
Yea.. Clay masks. Agree with you, there's very little those I like, just drying out most of them. But I tried that L'Oreal Anti-redness BB-cream today and I'm obsessed 🥰 For me it really is like my skin but better 👌🏼 I think it will be even better with little bit of liquid blush, bronzer and highlighter & some Maybelline glass skin dewy finish setting spray 😊 gotta go buy it! It gets better after like 15 min... I'm a skin care addict more than make up, like make up too, a lot and enjoy playing with it but most of the days I don't use it at all or do just very natural kind of make up. I have a tinted sun screen though, many times I use just it.
I use the L'Oreal Magic BB Cream in the shade Very Fair and I love it. It's one of the only shades that match my very fair skin. It's light, blurring, unifying without being cakey, and matte without drying the skin. I love this stuff
I would love to know how you feel about the Isntree Real Mugwart Clay Mask. A lot of people say it does not completely dry down, does not dry out your skin and even people with dry skin can use it for the calming properties. Thank you! Many blessings!!💖
Hello James! 🌷Love your videos. BB stands for "beauty balm". I think you have beautiful skin already, so you don't need any ice or clay masks and definitely not a green cream. 😌
It seems to be popular among Women of a Certain Age here in the states, as well. I’d rather have a cheap version. For migraines. Because cold across my face is one of those things that eases the pain.

Steph is quite funny and silly in the best way. Seems like a nice, real, genuine girl. Highly recommend her.
That cold mask is so ridiculous when here in Minnesota you can just walk outside for a minute and cool your face for free 😄
Love how Steph was part of James's video today, seriously love her, she is one of my favourite make up TH-camrs to watch, she is just so 'normal'....I don't mean that in a bad way or anything, only the fact like she doesn't mind just being herself when she is on camera and I really respect that ❤
james: it’s fine! it’s fineee!! it’s fineeeee!!
me right now on a sunday evening thinking of work tomorrow: sameee james, sameee!! 😂
😂😂😭😭😭💜
Lol. It’s FINE 😭
#representedAF 🤦🏻♀️
My dermatologist told me to avoid all extremes of temperature on my skin because of my rosacea - in winter if I've been out in the cold for just 30 minutes my whole face swells
Yeaaaaaap same here! 😭
Popular Opinion: Every single one of ya'll agrees that WELSH made our day:
That cerave oil cleanser is my absolute favourite cleanser right now, especially in the winter for my dry skin. I will admit that it was given to me for free to test, so I was pleasantly surprised and I will repurchase when the bottle is empty
Steph said: I love a bougie powder 🤣… James - 💯 great collaboration - and that marco lens; 👸 taking it to a whole new level up!! Keep the fire content coming 🍯… 💋
Great and candid review! She has beautiful skin but I appreciate the honest and up close review showing her texture before and after powder application. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I love seeing you Test anything, so we don’t have to. I hope your skin is strong enough.
My skin was screwed after this! I filmed the Nimya review after this video and everyone keeps asking why my skin is so red 😂
🧐🧐🧐 Alternative title for this vid:
_The pre-Nimya Redness DECODED_
Thanks, hun 🧛🏻♀️💜
Take a shot every time James says it’s fine during the cerave review 🤣
I'm drunk af ✨👍🏾
I just subscribed to Steph during this - love the macro camera and her dry sense of humour 😻
cerave is a great brand if you only have access to drugstore skincare. it's the middle ground between Cetaphil and laroche-posay
Poosayy
Unfortunately, my skin is so reactive to anything other than Cerave or products that have the barest minimum.
They’re expensive though.
CeraVe products are great! Not for my skin personally but as much as I dislike them for me, I always recommend them for my friends etc
But I absolutly can see why people with oilier skin might not like it that much
Edit: changed the name of the skin condition after realizing I mixed up the words from psoriasis (which my partner has not) to keratosis pilaris (which he actually has)
I hate the packaging concept being like "Uuuh!
@@sebumpostmortem we all love you :-)
@@hannajung7512 Aaaaaw, how releasing it feels to come out from the CeraVe closet and still being loved!🤗😍😍😍💖💖💝💝💝💝
🧛🏻♀️💜
CeraVe being fine fine fine is the most accurate review of this brand I have ever seen. It's fine 😀
I feel like my skin was just waiting for me to use *anything* at this point lol
same! the chance is so drastic. how’s it going
Hello James! Love your content. It’s truly helped me be able to make the most out of my skin. ❤️ have a lovely day hun!
☺️💜💜💜
Thank you for introducing me to Steph! I really like her style and just subscribed to her 😍
😍👏🏻👏🏻
She got me at the first super zoom. Someone who works at this level of honesty has my instant sub. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💜
I love your channel so much, I can't take my skin care advice without snarky comments anymore! Who knew this combo would become a necessity?
So cool to see Steph on here! 💕
Love Steph🙌
You saying 'it's fine' is literally Ross in friends when he catches Rachel kissing joey 😂😂😭
Haha all I could hear is Ross “I’m fine” haha love it x
Same 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I will always think and hear his voice when I hear the words “It’s Fine” & “Pivot” 😂
That panic laugh at 29:03 😂😂🤣🤣
Note: After clay mask, u need a moisturizer or cream...always!!
It’s the “I take care of my pores” flex for me 😂
‘I take care of my pores’ 😌 *clay mask reveals all my huge pores* 😬
@@JamesWelsh Huge? Maybe. Mines also. But cleaner than the silver cuttlery of the Queen Elizabeth!!! ✨✨✨
🧛🏻♀️💜
The L’Oréal looked kinda light on the guy in the Tiktok too and orange on the girl, I wasn’t impressed. This product sat on the shelf for years so it’s amusing to see it have a moment
Yeah I feel like nothing can TRUELY work for all skin colours and tones!
Yea, I think it really comes down to budget as well. I personally like the daily moisturizing lotion in the morning under my sunscreen.
Yeah, they're are a lot of affordable drug store eczema friendly stuff. (Where I live anyway) I recently discovered Urban Hydration and their aloe vera mask soothes my terrible itchy flare ups.
Happy Sunday, James! Congratulations on the new home. I’m glad to know that I’m not the only who got chills when the mask dried. 💓💜💓💜💓💜💓💜
I’m dying over how flustered and cute he got over the bb cream and the cerave cleanser. James is the best!
Thank You for having her on! I didn’t know of her but I really like her and plan on watching more of her! ❤️
To the powder, they do say their pores are blurred SO in a way they are saying it’s doing something it’s not.
Aww she's the best.. You will love her videos ❤️
I hadn't heard of Steph either, but I'm looking forward to binging her videos. She seems to have a great personality!
Your voice is so relaxing to listen to and i love learning so much from you and your videos! I love that you give your honest opinion on everything and debunk alot of the stuff that goes viral. I think i remember reading that BB cream stands for Beauty Balm 😀
The Caudalie mask is literally every clay mask ever, right down to ye olde Queen Helene mint julep masque.
“It’s fine” insert Ross Gellar’s voice “I’m fine!” LOL! Loved that! 😂
James is like “Sorry Cryo-Mask, my skin was beautiful before you came along..” 😆😎
Whenever I hear "Fine" that many times, I always wonder what's wrong, lol. "It's fine, it's fine......it's nice" Poor James, trying to be honest and not poke the cult after telling them to calm the F* down 🤣😹😹🤣
That moment! PRICELESS!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻✨✨✨✨🙌🏻💜💜💜
If you use headphones, you can hear the synapsis on fire🔥 of James' neurones choosing the perfect balance of words 💥🧠⚡
🧛🏻♀️💜
Brilliant to see you and steph working together... would love to see you both in same room. Same humour, same no nonsense reviews ♥️♥️♥️♥️
The way you said it's finee on cerave cleanser i can'ttttt😂
😂😭
I honestly didn't know cerave was so popular. I personally just like it because it has good ingredients-nothing extra. Gets the job done gently and affordable. I guess I am a part of the cult lolol.
i've heard about this for the first time too! (living under a rock it seems) but i really love their products and value for money i get, being on a tight budget and all. even my bf (who never uses anything skincare related) tried it and was suprised by how well it worked 🤭
@@reflectingshadowzin6867 we have been apart of the cult and never knew it until now ! lolol - but seriously it is awesome. & omg my boyfriend too ! I washed my boyfriends face with it too (yes I actually did it for him... hes one of those kinda dudes lmao) when he had one of his breakout and it cleared up after just 2 washes and he was feeling himself so much while checking out his skin it was hysterical.
@@Dee-zx9zm thats so sweet of you! 😄 One day our bf's will join the cult too hehe.. now that we are aware of its existence 😂
I had never heard of Stephanie before but she was so charming, I went to subscribe right away and can’t wait to watch her videos!
I was half expecting the Welsh 'triplet' to be the one edited beside Steph.😅
So nice to see Steph on here!!! She's one of my faves
I loved my hydrating CeraVe cleanser…. until it betrayed me. After a year, it burned really badly any time I used it. I’m in love with my Vanicream bar, which I’ve been using for two years now. Combined with my pond’s cream moisturizer, I’m living my best old lady life 🤙
I loved Stephs review, very nicely filmed :) for cerave I personally think we should aways factor the pricing into these reviews... very affordable for fine quality, so it's almost always a solid line to recommend to anyone :) esp people that don't want to spend a lot. But ofc nothing groundbreaking about the ingredients
I have neverrrr understood the cerave craze. Not for meh! Thanks for another amazing video, James!
Omg! 😱💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Steph and James?!? I’m loving this already, love her macro angle 🥰
Just found your channel & I'm already feeling like you're going to save me a lot of time & money. I like that your reviews aren't bought and paid for, you're the real deal! Thanks so much!
Ppl discovered clay mask and ran with it.. cuz if im not mistaken, almost all claymask does that pore thingy
Pretty much like 95% of clay masks will do this!
I’m from NY, And DAMN !!!
James : “Calm the fuck down “
Me: “ You go King !!! “
Omg you making the 'eh eh' sounds when applying the hair clips 🤣🤣 I always feel so stupid making sounds like that sometimes and now I hear another grown up do that too 🤣
First time I have seen Stephanie, I loved her and subscribed to her channel. She was fun and adorable. I see why you guys are friends ❤️
Loved this collaborative kinda video! 🔥❤️🤤🎊
One amazing 'green colour corrector' is the Green CC cream by Erborian. I love the finish and also the fact that it's skincare infused
OMG JAMES. I love your sailor moon neon lights 😍😍😍😍
there's more to life than just CeraVe
Omg i want your sailor moon/luna neon!!
Omg I love Steph, she's hilarious.
I LOVE THESE COLLABS. Steph is awesome 😁
“It's fiiinnneee" 😝😂😂😂😂❤️
ITS FIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNEEEE 😬🙃
Just get a mask from primark/pennys and the inkey list kaolin mask. It's in a tube costs €7 fragrance free. Every clay mask will dry and show pores it's clay! If you put clay from your garden on your face it will dry and show pores exactly the same.
Yasssss I’m soooo happy Steph is here!!!! I love ❤️ uuu both sooo much!!!!!
The consistency of the clay mask reminds me of the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask which is my favourite and in a pump dispenser.
What a wonderful personality that Steph gal has. She’s a doll 😊 just subscribed
I just LOVE Steph! So happy to see her here!!!!!
8:56 .... I can hardly express how hard I laughed and how many times I rewatched just this bit 🤣🤣🤣
Cerave is one of those brands that I like but don’t love, as you say, ‘it’s fine’, lol
Depends what you need. The mild face wash and creams have done wonders for my sensitive skin but everyone is different.
I use it as the first step in my double cleanse, but I would never use it alone. Like you said, it's just fine.
@@jd0604 Yup, back when I had oily skin I liked their foaming cleanser bar.
Lol 🤣 James transformed into boogie Ork with that criomask experience ..... I can't stop giggling. Thank you James 😘❤️❤️❤️❤️
I never knew that skincare videos could be hilarious until i started watching james😅
But I tried that L'Oreal Anti-redness BB-cream today and I'm obsessed 🥰
For me it really is like my skin but better 👌🏼 I think it will be even better with little bit of liquid blush, bronzer and highlighter & some Maybelline glass skin dewy finish setting spray 😊 gotta go buy it! It gets better after like 15 min...
I'm a skin care addict more than make up, like make up too, a lot and enjoy playing with it but most of the days I don't use it at all or do just very natural kind of make up. I have a tinted sun screen though, many times I use just it.
Legit love you! Educational, funny, and super enjoyable! Thank you
I use the L'Oreal Magic BB Cream in the shade Very Fair and I love it.
Charlotte tillsbury is a big brand among rich white ladies of UK especially the older gen so that stupid device will sell like hot cakes
That is 100% their demographic!
It seems to be popular among Women of a Certain Age here in the states, as well.
I’d rather have a cheap version. For migraines. Because cold across my face is one of those things that eases the pain.
Maybe the cold mask is helpfull for the rich ladies' hot flashes :)
Perfect timing for my Sunday self care 🖤🖤🖤
"It's nice" ... lol I feel James said that when he wants to say, i don't understand what it's the deal...
Omg I love the sailor moon art 💜
Thank you for introducing me to Steph! I love her already.
