It’s funny because the ramen you loved is produced by a high end ramen restaurant, which is probably why it tastes so good. They give you an absolute 5 stars experience in the restaurant (must go!)

That's the one where you go into a booth and press a button to order right? As someone who loves the restaurant experience but doesn't always want to interact with people it sounds absolutely amazing.
I worked at a fancy restaurant for a bit and they had caprese salad with strawberries instead of tomatoes. 10/10 SO good. Chef said strawberries and tomatoes are molecularly super similar so you can trade them for each other in a lot of recipes if the flavor works

Ichiran is actually an extremely popular ramen brand in Japan. They have restaurants in very few places though. I’ve only been to the one in New York City. It’s best known for its “ramen for introverts” experience because you get your own booth to eat in. You fill out a sheet to completely customise your order, and you don’t have to talk to anyone, they just give you your ramen and go. Would recommend the experience to anyone who really enjoys ramen.

Just as an aside, yes, when you chop basil it oxidises and changes colour. Normally when I freeze my basil from my herb pots, I keep it whole (I don't chop it) so I don't know why a professional company would chop it, it also alters the flavour a bit too.
I have so much basil in my garden right now- do you have any other tips for freezing? How exactly do you do it? Just whole leaves in a bag or other container? Thanks so much in advance!
@@paigeduffin4420 I dry my herbs instead of freezing and keep them in big mason jars :D I just put the leaves in the oven for a couple hours on the lowest possible temp and then crumble them up with my hands when they're fully dry and crispy, keeps forever and saves room in the freezer!

Gefriertrocknung ist echt pure Physik und super spannend, wenn man sich mit dem Prozess beschäftigt. Der zu trocknende Gegenstand wird erst herabgekühlt, anschließend wird der Druck soweit abgesenkt, dass das Wasser sublimieren kann. Bei der Druckabsenkung können sich die Sachen ausdehnen, deshalb sind deine sauren Würmer so riesig :)

Honeycomb is like a dalgona candy. Caramelized sugar with baking soda to create bubbles. Sprouts does some really good dark chocolate coated honeycomb in the bulk bins
and the yellow bits on top are crunchy bars(popular in the uk) which is like chocolate covered honey comb

I've gone to Ichiran in Japan its sooo good. I've thinking about buying the instant version because I miss it so much but I can't justify the price especially since the ramen at the restaurant is only like 1200¥ or less
It’s due to import fees and the box she bought having five. 40 bucks for five of something that costs like 12 is a decent deal
PLEASE DON'T. If you have had the original, these don't taste the same at all. I bought them and was so excited, but they are really garlicky and really don't come close to the original. I think it was not worth the money at all, even without comparing it to the original. It's not bad, but not worth the price it's being sold outside Japan. If you want some sgood instant ramen with a similar feel, I recommend getting Nissin Raoh in the flavor Tonkotsu Shoyu.

I once ate in a restaurant tomate mozarella salat with balsamico exept it was strawberries instead of tomatoes! Not sure if they did something to the strawberries but togehter with the balsamico vinegar it was so delicious! Still dreaming of it 💖

I’m curious about the safety of the instant hot pot, my parents have a business selling self heating meals in ration pack, the chemical packet which reacts with water same as the hot pot one seen in video is seperate from the food. The food stays sealed in a foil packet so the chemical water/steam doesn’t touch the food. The hot pot one seems the chemical steam would get into your food. Doesn’t seem like something I would want in my body personally. Would love to know if anyone has more info on the hot pot safety tho 👍

Hi Naomi! My name is Marnie and I live in West Hollywood, CA. I just started watching you about a month ago. I found you completely by accident! I watch a lot of makeup tutorial videos and your video came up in my algorithm. I just wanted you to know that you have made my life so much easier to handle. Let me explain....On May 5th, my husband had a stroke. He is only 49. (I am 51, BTW) He was in ICU for 2 weeks and ever since then he has been in a care facility. He has no mobility in his left arm and left leg. He is also now blind in his left eye. Cognitively, he is ok. His short term memory is bad sometimes, but his long term memory is still intact. Needless to say, I have been very depressed. I have been alone in our home since he had the stroke. Alone with my thoughts. It has been a very hard road. I do have our dog, Charlie, to keep me company, but it's been really hard not having my husband here. I watch TH-cam pretty much 24/7 because I hate regular television. But last month I found your videos and I can honestly say that when I watch them, I don't think about my depressing life. You make me laugh so much!!! You are just so funny and entertaining! I'm sorry I am typing so much, I just wanted you to know that you have made my life better. LOVE YOU!!!!!

OMG I'M OBSESSED WITH YAUTIA (TARO) TOO! I'm Dominican and Puerto Rican and I boil it and eat it with deli sliced cheese, deli meat (most likely turkey or salami), eggs (however you like), and sauteed onions with oil drizzled over all of it. It's AMAZING!
The ramen is from a bomb ramen restaurant chain in Japan, ichiran ramen ❤ so good and they have so many customizable options when you go into one! The restaurant one is even better than the instant one if you can believe that 💕💕

Naomi, you need to go to Japan again and just go to Ichiran haha. It’s suuuper delicious and it’s a fun experience to line up, choose the thickness and texture of your noodles, customize your soup etc. and then you get to experience the booths where you never have to interact with the servers 😅. Also, it’ll be much cheaper haha.
