Your video was really helpful because of 1. You captured all the points perfectly in detail enabling non technical guy to do the SMTP setting s on his own. 2. May be there is a slight change in the interface and all the videos capture sort of different interface.

I use a business acount and it works as well. But i do wonder a few things. 1 is it possible to just add multiple client id's for multiple websites and do the all get the 500 emails per day? 2. is there a overview of how much emails per day you have used? thanks for your great video!
You can create multiple ids or use same on multiple sites I have not tried it. 500 emails is per Gmail account I guess which is used for Google cloud. I never reached the limit so cannot confirm.

Hi, My business email id mails are transferred to promotional tab in senders account when I use the business email which is added through Gmail SMTP technique. Please provide solution to which that mail is received in inbox tab.

Hi Brian I have recreated a new project with same method as in video and found no issue.. Please check your email for screenshots. One small thing you can try changing is at 2:39 (timestamp) on step 4 you can skip the authorized javascript origin and just add a redirect URI. I suspect the issue could be some security plugin or config.

Yes enable api then select gmail api. I couldn't verify whole process because of other work. I will update with complete details after few days whenever possible.
I followed the instructions twice and each time WP showed a success then a failed screen. Each time I saved settings on the SMTP it erased the from email and would not allow me to enter another unless I canceled and then the process started all over again only to send me to an alias screen to buy a product from WP. What am I doing wrong again I followed step by step twice with the same result.

Maddening when following along and the video neatly moves along while we're left with changes and it doesn't work.
You can reverse any major changes just by deactivating the SMTP plugin. The method shown is correct, there should not be any issue .

How do you send a real email that is not a test email? For example, how do I send my newsletter to all the subscribers?
I would recommend getting a marketing email SMTP for that purpose. Google free SMTP is not meant for sending marketing emails.

This allows you to select any alias email connected to your gmail.
