Got my Mars 2.0 for Christmas...already at 382 miles on it. I love it
I was really surprised to see that there’s a lot more assembly on the 2.0 than the 1.0.
Great comparison. Ive had a 1.0 for two years, its been a solid bike but I when i upgrade im gonna go with something else.
Go with Lectric 3.0 XP

Can I get a summary I ain’t watching allat
I will say as an owner of the mars 2.0 and a user of the app, the app is much better refined and i havn't had any issues with it or the bike at all. However, he's using the PAS setting incorrectly, as with the speed limiter *off* that allows the bike to go up to its top speed no matter what the PAS is set to, as he scrolls down youll see that you can individualize the maximum speed for each level.
That is incorrect.
The setting was a mistaken half and half combination of throttle limiting (to PAS SPEEDS) on/off and PAS speed limits on/off.
It’s worth noting the setting you referred to as “off” was for the throttle speed limiter to be matched to PAS settings. (Emphasis on THROTTLE)
The setting was never intended to override the second set of settings you referred.
It’s either redundant and wrong or simply wrong.
To correct their error after the second update they reworded their application rather than fix the application.
The Heybike Hero will be the biggest victim of such an application blunder when they release a mid drive subject to these settings.
No other Ebike in the market neglects either or like the HeyBike app.
@ElectricAllWheel you're 100% right thats my bad. I will say that It recognized my bike as a Mars 2.0 perfectly though. I think (and to be honest I don't know when exactly you obtained the bike compared to me (I got mine less than. A week ago)), the app wasn't updated like it is now. Does it recognize yours as a 2.0 now?
We decided to separate ourselves from HeyBike after a series of issues culminating in this with the mars 2.0.
We have over 100 email correspondence replies with assurances of correction for the app, the mars, Tyson and Cityscape.
HeyBike should have never allowed such control to be available through the app until they had it under control.
@@ElectricAllWheel that makes sense. Over 100 is just absurd.
Hey, love your videos. Do you have a recommendation a battery recommendation for my Heybike Mars 1.0 that's affordable? The original one its damage doesn't work anymore. I am going to Burning man and need a replacement soon. Thanks in advance.
Any of the 48V batteries from this list can be utilized with our kits

On the 1.0 you can go to settings and put it to 24 MPH limit.
yeah but it won't actually go any faster. the 500w motor peters out at 21
on the 2.0 you can also go to settings and put it to 24 (or even 28) mph. I wont use that app, its useless
How do you get the mars 1.0 to go faster
They have fixed the app.
Do you preferred the Lectric 3.0 or the Mars 2.0?
Why must you make us answer such a direct question m2.0?
I have lectric long range 3.0 and trying to decide to get another with the 2 battery option right now or m2
1.0 also has a USB port on the battery.
Didn’t know ranger had app access
Ranger S does, not the 1st Gen Ranger.
I got the 2.0 and it wont go past 24
Is this the 2.0 with the 750w or the 1000w motor ?
The one in the video is the 750W motor
Anyone got a video for the 2.0 1000w edition?
