Oooh, I like this thumb throttle kit, definitely would up my game with me currently using a zip tie "thumb paddle".

gotrax has non-existent customer service. purchased an f2v2, had some issues, called their customer service number a few times, no answer, sent a few emails, no replies. its been 3 weeks and still no replies or no way to get in touch with them. clearly they wont honor their warranty or even speak with customers to address issues or concerns. if you get a gotrax, have a plan ahead of time if your ebike arrives with issues or you need some sort of issue addressed with their ebikes. they literally take the money and run. at least this has been my own personal experience with them recently. amazons reply to my issues, are a very unknowledgeable , just return the bike. that's a huge hassle and is also a disproportionate response to needing a simple part sent to replace a defective part yourself. very disappointed withe gotrax non-existent customer service to say the least. bike arrived with both brake disc rotors warped, seat clamp doesn't tighten down securely so seat constantly goes down and twists while riding. pedals have an absurd amount of play in them that makes the crank arms feel loose when pedaling.

Hey Matt,Randy Turley, my 5 star base model, sorry to say blows this wired away, and thanks to you , I can go many many miles with the new added battery, it all worked perfect, I really love my bike, my wife’s aventon, also, with an extra battery, we can ride for miles, they both had the perfect place to put the balancer, I closed, and wires ran perfectly out of the way, just rambling, but I wish you could try a ecell, , oh and the best bang for the buck, I gave, 1798 for my ecell with no shipping cost , NO TAXES, 1798 straight out the door, I got it in one week, but it’s the base model, but I loaded it up the way I want it

So definitely going to have to change out the controller if I ever try to go 72v?

hi again. if you aren't going for a long ride, is it safe to run just one battery thru the balanced discharger to save weight and leave one battery behind? so only one battery would be plugged in to, and run through the balance charger. thanks again.

I have the Aventon Level 2, installed this exact 48v 10ah extra battery last week 8/27/24 I'm 195 lb I rode 70 miles on PAS 1 the entire ride, didn't use throttle at all, not from stop signs or red lights. Took 4hr 20min at 16.4 avg speed. I had 6% battery left.

At the end of the video it was stated the amp must match but you corrected yourself which made it a little bit confusing. The standard Aventon Level 2 battery BMS is output is 20A? The controller maximum current 22A? The second battery BMS must match the controller or the standard installed BMS? Have difficulty locating a 12ah or 14ah battery, do you know a manufacturer?

Do you have to replace the controller and display or if you just replace the controller will it be fine? And is there no way to save a controller if it short circuited do you just gotta replace it

Can I use the extra free battery provided from lectric?

I'm thinking about using a 52V battery for the spare, Most if not all 48V speed controllers/motors can handle the extra voltage, Just gotta keep an eye on motor temps. due to nominal voltage a 48V battery it has similar voltage to a 52V battery.

Do you know where you can find the pedboard clips for the bike rack to attach things?

what if I want to buy two of the Hailong 48V 10Ah battery but I just want to have a dual battery setup. Then use the second Hailong battery as a spare when biking if Im running out of voltage on dual battery setup. Would that affect the Lectric battery or the dual battery setup?

please let me know if you plan on putting a dual battery and a rear camera setup on that bike, because of where the battery is located like on the lectric xpeak, it's difficult to strap the wiring.

i have the xp and lite, can the external batteries from Lectric fit under the seat? its got screw holes

Does the stock display show the combined charge level of both batteries?

Is there risk of fires? Just nervous to mix up Lectric batteries. The manual suggests only using their batteries. But it seems like plug and play and does not look like it will be any problems. Did you have any concerns of fire or water damage?

I'd use the components and put them on a different frame. That bike is kinda ugly, but has good specs.

I weigh 120-125lbs and hoist my grizzly on the cross beams in my garage, lift it by hand myself then tighten the straps. Its not always fun doing it alone but its do-able 😂
