- Hello Friends, This video will show u how to apply seismic/Earthquake force in staad pro. Cross checking results, validating staad pro. Results...100% results matched by manual and staad calculation...###*********one mistake was there in excell due to which some difference was there in base shear..but i have corrected excel sheet so its matching 100% ..if u want please comment your mail id in mail box i will mail it to u..***********##

I had not put one bracket for Ah in z direction cell due to which calculated base shear in Z direction was not matching with staad value..Sorry for that but i have corrected that excel sheet..if anyone want please mail his/her mail id in comment section..Thank u

Reason behind that is there is no difference for static earthquake force.. when i will make video on dynamic earthquake i.e response spectrum that time i will use it for sure..

sir you didn't applied dead load in all three direction in case of seismic load
Dear Shailesh.
Seismic force is a lateral force so u have to calculate it in lateral directions only based on dead+live load on building..thats what i did..i defined mass source then defined two seismic load case for lateral direction i.e. X and Z direction.
