Other VIDS say if it goes OFF then it is faulty. Mine started without it connected but not tried unplugging whilst running. Surely that would send a message to the Engine Management Control Unit and possible kill power same as it kills it from starting when COLD. I do not trust this method unless you did try STARTING without it connected which really should therefore be the same. You see, it should RUN without one of these but not efficiently. ALSO think about if it did DIE then WHY should this KILL POWER ffs? JESUS that would be leathal as feck on the road!!!
That is not how you check a MAF. You use a multimeter to check frequency and a scan tool to test engine load percentage at WOT and a lab scope to check waveform. Stop misinforming people.
